Ubiquitous computing is an unparalleled attempt to bridge physical space and digital information into one platform. Recent technological advancements such as the smart phone exhibit the potential to construct the next generation of smart computing?a method that replaces network device centered objects such as RFID or USN and the context awareness method with an intellect based recognition system. From a spatial structural perspective, user-centered smart environment can be predicted as the new IT generic technology smart environment, and through this seek to reinterpret the architectural space within the new generation of ubiquitous smart environments.

The purpose of this study is to define the spacial structure of non-linear pathways. Compare with Gride street, non-linear pathways have more degrees of freedom of space, thus, the particle moving on the pathway has the possibility of a shorter route distance to reach destinations. Classically, the grid system has been the easiest to implement but is a confined to movement along the horizontal and vertical axes. To reach a destination in a grid plan, the distance covered while traveling between two points is further than the direct path between them. In non-linear pathways, the distance is reduced by doing away with the grid plan and replacing it with an overlapping series of pathways that trace the linear path between points. While this reduces the distance traveled between points, this has an added benefit of allowing for shorter distances between points that are not represented by the paths. This paper offers insight as to why a non linear network offers greater efficiency of travel in a dense urban environment.

Childrens educational facilities play a vital role in shaping the daily environment during the critical period of brain development, ensuring the provision of suitable stimulation. This study focuses on Fuji Kindergarten as a case study, emphasizing the importance of a playful developmental environment for children. Drawing from evolutionary psychology and neuroscience, pleasure is recognized as a fundamental mechanism that drives responses to beneficial stimuli, essential for survival, the reward system and learning processes. Fuji Kindergarten exemplifies this by transforming its entire building into a playground, offering a joyful and immersive experience. Grounded in child development theory, evolutionary psychology, and neuroscience, this study explores various aspects. It investigates adventure activities that foster exploration and risk-taking, peer interactions promoting imitation and connection, observation and exploration activities nurturing curiosity, and appropriate stimulation fostering emotional attachment. Through analyzing the Fuji Kindergarten case, elements such as climbing pathways, incorporation of natural elements, strategic placement of manageable risk factors, spatial features encouraging peer collaboration, and a cyclical structure supporting emotional stability were identified. By examining the importance of enjoyment and spatial configuration methods, this research aims to provide insights into the spatial design direction for creating environments that encourage appropriate stimulation in childrens educational facilities.

(Background and Purpose) The meaning and composition of modern architecture and city spaces are expanding according to the development of scientific technology. The concept of space has evolved from Euclidian spatiality, which concerns the occupation of a specific space in a specific time, to complex, non-Euclidian spatiality. This involves shifting to variable smart-space connections away from Euclidian use, which is characterized by inefficient competition within limited spaces. Accordingly, this study proposes neighborhood structure in which spaces can change in response to real-time interaction with users, thus introducing mart-space environments and the concept of time-dimensional neighborhoods. (Method) As a solution to the problems and characteristics of geometric space, this study focuses on using time-dimensional neighborhoods to achieve efficiency in spatial relationships. (Result)This study determined that using a method that reacts to users` needs in real time through a smart network increases the use density of architectural spaces. Such a multilateral spatial approach can actively respond to variability through real-time interaction in the neighborhood.

(Background and purpose) Neurolinguistics holds that human languages are elaborately designed products of biological human nature. On that basis, this study regarded human languages as external intelligence systems that contain natural human emotions and empirical memories. Thus, aesthetic consciousness can be structuralized by understanding humans` aesthetic emotions and society`s aesthetic sympathy as communicated through language. The degree of figurational good feelings can be quantified based on the structuralized aesthetic consciousness, becoming an indicator that can be utilized in design. (Method)The meaning of language to humans was elucidated through a theoretical consideration of languages through the lenses of neurolinguistics, evolutionary aesthetics, and brain and cognitive neuroscience. Subsequently, 1,520 adjectives that modify “beauty,” obtained from 76 experimental subjects, were analyzed to determine the structures of aesthetic consciousness conveyed through adjectives. (Result) The area of aesthetic consciousness inherent in adjectives was identical to the area of aesthetic consciousness.

(Background and Purpose) Media spaces extend human perception. After the appearance of the virtual space, the backgrounds of media spaces included high degrees of varied information. However, during information processing, the human brain cannot recognize every piece of visual information. As such, humans have selective visual attention and thereby only obtain the necessary information. This study investigates what easily recognized background information is perceived in attentionally by humans. The purpose of this study is to maximize the favor of the audience. (Method) This paper investigates the possibilities of media spaces advanced by digital circumstances since the appearance of virtual reality and studies how humans process visual information. Thus, it searches for a visual limit that sees media space as meaningful visual information in the cerebral process. In addition, it seeks a correlation with visual information by analyzing cases that utilize in attentional blindness with backgrounds that include meaningful information. (Result)The study found that the human brain easily recognizes the natural and educated forms of genetic algorism. When using this spatial information, the audience`s favor is maximized. In this way, the study suggests effective spatial designs for media spaces.
