본 논문에서는 입력된 영상에서 나타나는 세 가지 대표적인 잡음 영상인 안개 낀 영상, 저조도 영상, 역광 영상에 대한 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 기존의 안개영상 개선 알고리즘은 성능이 뛰어나지만 메모리 사용량과 계산량이 많아지는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 성능이 뛰어난 안개 제거 알고리즘의 메모리 사용량과 계산 량을 줄이는 개선된 방법을 제안하고, 이를 DM6446 DSP칩으로 구현하였으며, 제안한 방법을 이용하여 저조도 영상 개선 및 WDR에 적용시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험결과 DSP 칩에 적용했을 때 초당 15화면을 처리하였다. 또한 구현한 결과 영상은 속도를 개선하기 전의 알고리즘과 거의 동일한 화질을 보였다. In this paper, we proposed realtime image enhancing method on the three noise types of input images, such as haze, low contrast and back light images. Some conventional de-hazing algorithms have good performance but need large memories and high computational burdens. We proposed the efficient algorithm which not only removes the haze but also reduces memory usage and computational complexity. We implemented the realtime system by using DM6446 DSP chip, and it showed the excellent result in these three problems; haze, low contrast and back light. We implemented the system with the processing speed at 15 frames/sec.
안전한 도시철도를 위한 통합 화재 경보 시스템 구축의 연구

Today's urban transit system is regarded as the important public transportation service which saves passengers' time and provides the safety. Many researches focus on the rapid and protective responses that minimize the losses when dangerous situation occurs. In this paper we proposed the early fire detection and corresponding rapid response method in urban transit system by combining automatic fire detection for video input and the sensor system. The fire detection method consists of two parts spark detection and smoke detection. At the spark detection the RGB color of input video is converted into HSV color and the frame difference is obtained in temporal direction. The region with high R values is considered as fire region candidate and stepwise fire detection rule is applied to calculate its size. At the smoke detection stage we used the smoke sensor network to secure the credibility of spark detection. The proposed system can be implemented at low prices. In the future work we would improve the detection algorithm and the accuracy of sensor location in the network.

The security issue in urban transit system has been widely considered as the common matters after the fire accident at Daegu subway station. The safe urban transit system is highly demanded because of the vast number of daily passengers, and it is one of the most challenging projects. We introduced a test model for integrated security system for urban transit system and built it at a subway station to demonstrate its performance. This system consists of cameras, sensor network and central monitoring software. We described the smart camera functionality in more detail. The proposed smart camera includes the moving objects recognition module, video analytics, video encoder and server module that transmits video and audio information.
