When connecting electric vehicle charging system to grid, it is firstly required to do inspection on the reliability and stability issues which can generate impact to utility power grid. This paper mainly focused on improving stability and efficiency issues of the power integration of Inductive Power Transfer System (IPTS). Firstly, a comparison analysis about electrical basement system progressed, and an improvement plan for DC based charging system was described. The introduced plan performed to check a feasibility by focused on voltage fluctuation improvement by utilizing energy storage system. Added to this, an efficiency improvement effect on the entire system was also carried out. The main algorithm was configured to control more reasonable peak power generation based on the maximum State of Charge (SOC) variation from a scheduling process to induce significant cost reduction in IPTS operation.

This paper deals with the power integration of large urban railway systems to improve regenerative energy utilization. Current regenerative energy utilization is low because there is no special plan for using this energy. If the railway system is integrated with other railway systems, the efficiency is expected to be improved. Through the case studies, to find the realistic effect of integrated operation, real system for the Seoul Metro lines, especially line 5 and 7, had been applied.

Owing to the variability of large-scaled wind power system, the development of wind farm management technologies and related compensation methods have been receiving attention. To provide an accurate and reliable output power, certain wind farm adopts a specified management system including a wind prediction model and grid expectation solutions for considering grid condition. Those technologies are focused on improving the reliability and stability issues of wind farms, which can affect not only nearby system devices but also a voltage condition of utility grid. Therefore, to adapt the develop management system, an expectation process about voltage condition of Point of Common Coupling should be integrated in operating system for responding system requirements in real-time basis. This paper introduce a grid imposing method for a real-time based wind farm management system. The expected power can be transferred to the power flow section and the required quantity about reactive power can be calculated through the proposed system. For the verification process, the gauss-seidel method is introduced in the Matlab/Simulink for analysing power flow condition. The entire simulation process was designed to interwork with PSCAD for verifying real power system condition.

In case of developing a combined system by a number of distributed resources with storage device, a number of application suggests a huge capacity can derive operational flexibility both power supply issues or when unexpected situation imposed. However, it is important to determine a resonable energy capacity because the device have many controversial cost issues in current power system industry. An ESS application which focusing essentially required points can induce appropriate storage capacity that required in economic operation. In this paper, a curtailment supporting algorithm based on storage device is introduced, and applied in the capacity calculation method. The main algorithm pursues handling minor exceeding quantities which can cause mechanical load at blade; This paper tries to include it for configuring hybrid algorithm with pitch control. Several fluctuating conditions are utilized in simulation to reflect critical situation. The analyzing process focuses on the control feasibility with applied capacity and control method.
