Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a computer access assessment tool for persons with physical disabilities and to evaluatereliability and validity. Methods: We developed a computerized Computer access Assessment Program (CAP) through many kinds of literature review and toolsanalysis for evaluation of computer access, task analysis of fundamental input devices operation and expert review. The CAP data were obtainedfrom 105 normal university students and 16 students with physical disabilities. The test items of CAP are composed of four timedmouse tasks, four timed keyboard tasks, and a timed scanning task. Thus, the software measures user performance in skills needed forcomputer interaction, such as keyboard and pointer use, navigating through menus, and scanning. To determine the validity of these measurements,we compared data on CAP reports to a Compass report. Compass software allows an evaluator for assessment of an individual’scomputer input skills. Results: Results of this study showed that the CAP had high internal consistency, reliability of test-retest, concurrent validity, and convergentvalidity. Conclusion: Therefore, the CAP is appropriate for evaluation and determination of computer access skill of persons with physical disabilities. It is possible to get clear quantitative data on performance when providing computer access services if you can use the CAP data. Usingthis quantitative evidence, insights can be gained into the specific nature of any difficulties experienced by persons with physical disabilitiesand find wise solutions.

Concentrated IPMSM has advantages in various aspects, such as space ratio, mass productivity, and copper loss, but concentrated winding has a limitation that the eddy current loss of permanent magnets is quite large compared to distributed winding. Eddy current loss means the heat of the rotor and becomes larger during high-speed operation. Therefore, in the concentrated IPMSM that requires high-speed operation, it is essential to design to reduce eddy current loss. In this paper, in order to reduce the eddy current loss of the IPMSM, a shape that increases the reluctance of the q-axis was applied to the rotor, and each was designed by dividing into concentrated winding and distributed winding. The number of pole slots of concentrated winding was selected as 6 poles and 9 slots, and the number of pole slots of distributed winding was selected as 6 poles and 27 slots. Through FEA, the voltammetry limit circle and T-N curve were compared according to each winding method. By comparing the d-axis inductance and q-axis inductance, a model that is advantageous at high speed was confirmed, and the no-load and load characteristics according to the operating speed were compared in detail

VDT tasks are rapidly increasing as the office automation prevails Despite its numerous benefits occupational hazards such as visual fatigue, eye strain radiation and musculoskeletal stresses have emerged as an important issue. This study was conducted on eight subjects, in order to investigate the change of electromyographic activities in the neck muscles(upper trapezius and mid-cervical paraspinals) with regards to the document holder position and display height A total of six different conditions of document holder position and display height were measured during subjects performed a text-entry task for a duration of 20min The raw EMG signal was transmuted into the root mean square(RMS) Two-way ANOVA for repeated measures was used to analyse the effects of the two factors. As a result, changing the document holder position and display height has no effect on electromyographic activities in the neck muscle.
