        .Net Framework를 이용한 영어 이러닝 시스템

        Existing e-learning systems not only require complex admission processes but also do not give stepwise education methods according to individual learners' characteristic. These circumstances cause learners to lose educational interest so that their educational efficiency decreases. In particular, the present e-learning systems do not provide educational approaches suitable for infant and elementary children. Under this system, the e-learning education for children does not proceed completely without guardians. To solve this problem, we design and implement an English e-learning system for elementary children based on friendly and comfortable user interfaces. For children, the proposed system reflects their age and individual interesting per each e-learning stage. This system supports both the Web application platform and smart phone application platform for various client requirements. The proposed system manages 3 classes as English learning content. Learners can experience their own English e-learning course in each class, which is compiled by current educational ability. In addition to the general functions in e-learning system, the proposed system develops content buffering algorithm to reduce data traffic in server.

        방사선투시를 이용한 식도이물 제거술

        The purpose of this sstudy is to report our 5-year experience with fluoroscopic removal of blunt esophageal foreign body or impacted food in 15 consecutive patients who were referred by endoscopists because they couldn't remove it endoscopically. The foreign body or impacted food was a piece of meat, a bean, a badug stone or a beef bone. Thirteen patients had underlying disease (11 of corrosive stricture, 2 of postoperative stricture) but 2 patients did not. We removed the object using one of the following 4 techiques : Basket extraction technique, Foley catheter technique, single balloon technique (dilatation of stenosis for passing the food into the stomach and for the treatment of the stricture as well) double balloon technique (removal of the foreign body by trapping it with two valvuloplasty balloons). Removal was successful in all patients. Esophageal perforation occurred in one patient using the single balloon technique, who treated nonoperatively by means of fasting, antibiotics and parenteral alimentation. No procedure related death occurred in these series. In conclusion, fluoroscopic removal of blunt esophageal foreign bodies of impacted food with various techniques is promising alternative to esophagoscopic removal.

        Facilitating Demonstration and Simulation in Practice-based Professional Development

        This paper examines the learning process of facilitators engaging in a practice-based professional development (PD) called StoryCircles facilitator training. We observed the language used by facilitators when engaging in a demonstration1) of practice in which another facilitator leads a group of secondary mathematics teachers engaged in StoryCircles PD to consensus. Subsequently, facilitators simulate the role of teachers in StoryCircles PD to anticipate challenges they, as facilitators, may face. By analyzing facilitators' collective dialogue across the different practice-based approaches within the StoryCircles facilitator training, we highlight the adoption of others' roles within the PD context and facilitators' understanding of their own roles as a result. Findings indicate that the demonstration of a facilitator's practice was a context in which facilitators developed an understanding of their own responsibilities. Meanwhile, simulating the participants' practices allowed facilitators to better understand the role of the facilitator from the demonstration of practice, as they navigated the potential tensions arising from teachers adopting practices that facilitators deemed less desirable. This paper highlights how such situated practice-based learning experiences may be associated with facilitators' perceptions of their roles within the StoryCircles framework, offering insights into the intricacies of PD facilitator training and practice.

        최소 위성 수의 통신 위성군 설계: 워커-델타 패턴설계에 대한 해석적 접근

        통신 위성군 설계는 커버리지의 연속성과 위성 간 통신의 연결성을 확보하는 문제로 재해석할 수 있다. 워커-델타 패턴은 기하적 설계기법이므로 연속 커버리지를 기하적으로 분석하는 것이 용이하다. 유계 보로노이 다이어그램은 계산기하적 알고리즘으로 연속 지역 커버리지의 해석적 해를 도출할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 해석적 방법으로 연속 지역 커버리지 해를 도출하고 수치 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 검증하였다. 이에 더해, 워커-델타 위성군 설계에 실용적으로 적용할 수 있는 패턴 반복 주기와 관성계 위치가 유일할 조건을 해석적으로 유도하였다. 워커-델타 패턴으로 설계된 위성들은 공통적인 상대운동을 보이며, 이는 해석적으로 기술할 수 있다. 위성 간 통신 링크는 제한된 거리에서 연결된다. 그러므로 인접 궤도평면의 상대운동 개념을 위성 간 통신 연결 가능성 분석에 적용하고 수치 시뮬레이션으로 검증하였다. The communication satellite constellation design problem can be interpreted as a problem of continuity of coverage and connectivity of inter-satellite link. Since Walker-Delta pattern is a geometric design method, continuous coverage can be analyzed geometrically. The bounded Voronoi diagram is a computational geometric algorithm and derives analytic solution of continuous regional coverage. In this research, the continuous regional coverage solution is derived analytically and the numerical simulation verified it. In addition, the practical design factors of Walker-Delta constellation design are introduced and derived analytically such as pattern repetition period and conditions for unique inertial positions. Satellites designed as Walker-Delta constellation have the common relative motion that is known to have the analytic solution. Inter-Satellite Link is only available within the restricted range. Therefore, the concept of relative motion between the adjacent orbital planes is applied to the Inter-Satellite Link connectivity analysis and verified by numerical simulation.

        교사의 효능감과 직무만족이 구성주의적 교수ㆍ학습 신념에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 교사의 효능감과 직무만족이 구성주의적 교수·학습 신념에 미치는 영향을 분석 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 OECD 교수-학습 국제조사(TALIS 2013) 자료를 활용하였으며, TALIS 2013에는 국내 177개 중학교의 교장과 교사 2,933명이 참여하고 있다. 분석을 위해 통 제변인을 교사 수준(교사 성별과 경력)과 학교수준(학교 소재지, 학교 SES, 학교 규모, 학교의 개방적 풍토, 교장의 분산적 리더십)으로 구분하여, 위계적 선형 모형(Hierarchical Linear Modeling)을 통해 변인들을 순차적으로 투입하여 검토하였다. 분석 결과 교사의 효능감과 직 무만족은 교사의 구성주의적 교수·학습 신념에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나 타났다. 교사 수준의 통제변인 가운데 교사 성별은 효능감 변인이 투입되었을 때 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 교사의 경력은 모든 모형에서 교사의 구성주의 적 신념에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학교 수준의 통 제변인 중에서 교장의 분산적 리더십은 교사의 구성주의적 신념에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향 을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 학교의 소재지, 학교의 SES와 규모, 개방적 풍토 등은 별다른 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 현대 우리 사회가 요구하는 창의적 인재를 육성하는 데 있어 교사의 구성주의적 신념과 태도는 수업 시간에서 창의적 교수활동을 전개하기 위한 필 수적인 전제가 된다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 교사들이 구성주의적 신념을 가지고 창의적인 수업을 진행할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 무엇보다 교사의 효능감과 직무만족을 높일 수 있는 다양한 프로그램의 개발과 정책적 지원 등이 필요함을 시사한다. In an unprecedently fast changing world, creativity is regarded as a source of innovation which social organizations, including governments, companies, and even schools, value the most nowadays for their future development. In the same vein, creativity and education is now regarded as inextricable since education often affords the means of creativity development. Therethrough, to ensure the success of creativity education, the role of teacher is fundamental and important. From literature review, the researchers figured out positive correlation among teacher efficacy, job satisfaction, and creative teaching. Thus, this study examined the impact of teacher efficacy and job satisfaction on teacher’s creative teaching. The researchers analyzed TALIS 2013 survey data and finally used samples of 2178 teachers from 158 schools after data cleaning. The researchers used HLM(Hierarchical Linear Model) ver. 6.0 as the data was collected in a stratified manner. The results present significantly positive impact of teacher efficacy and job satisfaction on creative teaching after controlling various personal and school level variables. According to the results, the teachers with higher efficacy and job satisfaction tend to conduct creative teaching more in their classes. In addition, teachers tend to exert creative teaching in schools where their principals exert distributed leadership. The result of this study suggest an implication that to enhance creative teaching in schools, the government as well as schools should develop various political and training programs utmost.

        Absorption kinetics of carbon dioxide into aqueous ammonia solution: Addition of hydroxyl groups for suppression of vaporization

        Aqueous ammonia can act as an alternative absorbent for CO2 removal, but it has high volatility and reduces the ammonia concentration. We analyzed the hydroxyl additives 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP), ethylene glycol,and glycerol to reduce the vapor pressure of ammonia solutions. In addition, absorption efficiency groups of aqueous ammonia solutions containing hydroxyl additives were investigated. The results show that the addition of AMP, ethylene glycol, or glycerol to NH3 reduced the vapor pressure of the absorbent by 14.0%, 22.7%, and 75.2%, respectively. The reaction rate constants of aqueous NH3 containing AMP, ethylene glycol, and glycerol additives at 293, 303, 313 and 323 K are given by k2, NH3/AMP=4.565×105 exp(−1396.5/T), k2, NH3/ethylene glycol=1.499×106 exp(−1978.7/T) and k2, NH3/glycerol=7.078×106 exp(−2413.3/T), respectively.

        Desorption kinetics of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil using lab-scale rotary desorber

        Thermal desorption of fluorene, anthracene, pyrene, and benzo(a)pyrene in soil contaminated with PAHs was performed using a rotary desorber at temperatures of 300-500 oC, and the dependency of the PAH removal efficiency on the percentage water content, residence time, and thermal desorption temperature was investigated. The removal efficiencies were inversely proportional to the boiling points of PAHs, and the removal efficiencies decreased with decreasing residence time and heating temperature. The reaction rate constant and activation energies (EA) were estimated to determine the thermal desorption properties of each substance, and the activation energies were found to be 29.50-34.48 kJ mol−1. Freeman-Carroll’s law was applied along with the Arrhenius equation to extract the thermal desorption properties from the data obtained in this experiment.
