        The purpose of this study is to examine the reasons for the necessity of extending the retirement age of the Korean military from the viewpoint of strategic human resource management. While there is a demand for changes in the military service system due to population decline, young career soldiers are currently being discharged because of the retirement age. Social awareness of this is lacking. The reason why the retirement age extension of professional soldiers is necessary is considered from four aspects. First, considering the situation in Korea and the United States, difficulties in securing military human resources can be expected. Extending the retirement age of career soldiers is essential for strategic human resource management in a situation where military human resources are declining. Second, in terms of job security, the necessity of extending the retirement age of the Korean military is examined through cases of foreign advanced military, cases of general public officials, police and firefighting officials in Korea, and cases of companies. Third, the view that members can be complacent about the issue of extending the retirement age is only considering the negative aspects too much. The problem of extending the retirement age is also related to the improvement of mastery of expertise. Fourth, if the retirement age of professional soldiers is extended, it is possible to secure adequate human resources to maintain the combat power of the military without greatly increasing the economic burden of the military pension. Fifth, it is necessary to extend the retirement age in terms of physical function.

        전하선택접촉 태양전지 적용을 위한 VOx 박막, NiOx 박막, CuIx 박막의 특성 연구

        Carrier-selective contacts (CSCs) solar cells are considerably attractive on highly efficient crystalline silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cells due to their advantages of high thermal tolerance and the simple fabrication process. CSCs solar cells require a hole selective contact (HSC) layer that selectively collects only holes. In order to selectively collect holes, it must have a work function characteristic of 5.0 eV or more when contacted with n-type Si. The VOx, NiOx, and CuIx thin films were fabricated and analyzed respectively to confirm their potential usage as a hole-selective contact (HSC) layer. All thin films showed characteristics of band-gap engergy > 3.0 eV, work function > 5.0 eV and minority carrier lifetime > 1.5 ms.

        2015 개정 교육과정 고등학교 한국지리의 독도교육 교수-학습 모형 개발

        The reality is that Japan's territorial provocation is getting worse and Korea and Japan have not still found any solutions about the issue. Territorial provocations are also appearing on an educational level. Accordingly, research on the necessity and direction of territorial education has been carried out continuously. Presenting the direction of territorial education based on precedent research on territorial education is as follows. Firstly, territorial education requires harmony among cognitive, affective, and functional areas. Secondly, it is necessary to cultivate the geographical thinking and analytical power not from the emotional aspect of education derived from exclusive nationalism but from the transnational level. Furthermore, we need move toward fostering problem-solving skills for coexistence and prosperity. Finally, it is necessary to develop teaching and learning models for how and what to teach in actual classes. In this study, the content system of Korea geography and three kinds of textbooks in the 2015 Revised National Curriculum are analyzed. According to the results, a teaching and learning model on Dokdo education has been proposed. According to the model, knowledge-centered, value-centered, and function-centered teaching and learning guidelines which can be implemented in actual classes are developed and proposed. When developing these guidelines, they are classified by three factors: knowledge, value, and function. Moreover, these guidelines should not be based on the emotional education from exclusive nationalism. Rather, it focuses on developing geographical analysis capacity and critical thinking skills through objective data and improving decision-making and problem-solving abilities at a transnational level. 일본의 영토 도발 행위는 점점 심해지고 아직 해결점을 찾지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이며, 이러한 도발 행위는 교육 분야에서도 진행되고 있다. 이에 영토교육의 필요성이나 방향성에 관한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져 왔다. 영토교육의 선행연구를 토대로 영토교육의 방향성을 살펴보면 첫째, 영토교육은 인지적 영역의 교육 외에 정의적·기능적 영역의 교육이 수반되어 세 가지 영역의 조화가 필요하다. 둘째, 배타적 민족주의에 비롯된 감정적인 측면의 교육에서 초국가적 차원의 지리적 사고력과 분석력의 배양과 공존과 번영을 위한 문제해결력을 기르는 방향으로 가야 한다. 셋째, 영토교육이 실제 수업에서 어떤 내용으로 어떻게 가르칠 것이냐에 대한 교수-학습모형 개발이 무엇보다 필요하다. 본 연구에서 2015 사회과 교육과정 고등학교 한국지리의 내용 체계와 2015 개정 교육과정 고등학교 한국지리 3종의 교과서를 분석하여 독도교육 교수-학습 모형을 구안하였다. 이 모형에 따라 실제 수업에서 실현될 수 있는 지식·이해 중심의 교수-학습 지도안, 가치·태도 중심의 교수-학습 지도안, 기능·실천 중심의 교수-학습 지도안을 개발하여 제안하였다. 지식·가치·기능이라는 영역별 분류에 따라, 각 교수-학습 지도안마다 중점적으로 배양하고자 하는 영역을 중심으로 지도안을 설계하였다. 하지만, 모든 교수-학습 지도안에서 추구하는 점은 같다. 배타적인 민족주의적 감성에 의한 교육이 아닌, 객관적 자료를 통한 지리적 분석력과 비판력을 기르고, 초국가적 차원의 의사결정력과 문제해결력을 기르는 데 중점을 두었다.

        Effects of electron-beam irradiation on structural, electrical, and optical properties of amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide thin films

        High-energy electron-beam irradiation of indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) films improved the shortrange arrangement. The increase in band gap was used as an indication of such improvement. X-ray diffraction confirmed that the films treated with a DC voltage of 2e4.5 kV for duration of up to 35 min are in the amorphous state or nanocrystalline phase. Higher energy electron-beam irradiation led to increased conductivity, which mainly comes from the drastic increase in electron concentration. Electron-beam treatment could be a viable route to improve the contact resistance between the source/ drain and channel layer in thin-film transistor devices.

      • 하수슬러지 소각재의 재활용에 관한 연구

        This experimental study on the incineration ash and sintering pellet from sewage sludge was carried out to evaluate the possibility of recycling in sewage sludge disposal. The samples used in this study were raw sewage, its incineration ash and sintering pellet. The characteristics of the three sample types were identified using X-ray diffraction(XRD), atomic absorption spectroscopy(AAS), and inductively coupled plasma spectroscopy(ICP). The chemical compositions of all three sample types were similar in their clay component except for a high content of organic materials in the sewage sludge. According to the fireproof bricks test method( KS L 5105 Korea), the compressive strengths of incineration ash with sintering temperature were measured. It was found that the compressive strength depends on the sintering temperature. These results prove that the incineration ash and sintering pellet have a sufficient potential for use as a constructional material.

        An Analysis of Korean and American Presidential Addresses: Focusing on Punctuation and Transition

        The object of this study is to show some features of English, focused on such mechanics as punctuation and transition, in Korean presidential addresses transcribed in English which are different from those of the United States. Towards that end, the presidential addresses of the United States and Korea from January, 2010 to June, 2010 are collected, made into corpora, and analyzed. Through analyzing the corpora, this paper is to address the following research questions: (1) What features can be regarded as different in terms of punctuation and transition? (2) If there are any differences between the corpora, are they significant enough to pose any problems for Korean and American English users to communicate with each other? (3) If so, what can be done to solve the problems in regard to pedagogical implications? Overall, as for punctuation, both Presidents’ addresses share a lot in common, even with some idiosyncratic variations though. However, there are some noticeable differences in transitional devices. It is not clear whether those should be taken as a sign of personal preference, though. Transitional markers are meant to be part of wording in writing.

        위계적 선형모형을 이용한 오피스 임대료결정요인 분석

        Hedonic Price Function, as the usually used method, to evaluate the office rent has known for having a demerit that it cannot reflect the multi-leveled or nested nature of social science data. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the new method that can reflect the regional characteristic of the space where offices integrate. This study attempts to analyze the determinants of office rent considering the regional characteristic and to bring up the new methodology for evaluating the office rent by using hierarchical linear model(HLM). As a result of analysis, HLM function proves that the coefficients have the different value as the regional characteristic changes. At the view of the ability to measure the office rent, HLM is more powerful than hedonic price function in spite of the exception of the floor to area ratio variable.
