본 연구는 1개 대학의 보건계열 전공학과 1학년 117명을 대상으로 결핵에 대한 지식을 파악하였다. 연구결과 30점 만점에 평균 16.97±3.53점으로 100점으로 환산 시 56.6점의 중간 점수를 약간 넘는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 결핵의 증상, 결핵예방 검진과 관련한 지식수준이 각각 100점으로 환산 시 36.3점과 46.2점으로 매우 낮은 점수를 보였다. 결핵 예방행위를 실천하기 위해서 결핵에 대한 정확한 지식을 갖는 것이 우선되어야 한다. 본 연구 대상자 가운데 결핵정보를 습득한 경험자가 47.9%, 결핵검진 경험자가 57.3% 인 것은 대학교 입학 전 각 급 학교의 교과과정과 학교보건사업 차원에서 제공되는 보건교육과 결핵검진의 기회를 접했던 것의 영향으로 생각된다. 그러나 대학교에 들어와서 학교에서 교육의 경험을 가진 대상자가 한명도 없고, 결핵검진 경험자의 비율도 8.5% 로 다른 학교시기에 비해 확연히 감소하는 것 으로 나타났다. 결핵에 대한 지식수준이 성별이나 일반건강상식 관심도에 따라서는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결핵정보 습득 경험이 있는 경우가 없는 경우에 비해,결핵검진 경험이 있는 경우가 없는 경우에 비해, 국내 결핵현황의 심각성을 제대로 인지하고 있는 경우가 인지하지 못하는 경우에 비해 지식수준이 유의하게 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생을 대상으로 지속적인 정보습득과 결핵검진의 기회가 제공되는 정책 및 프로그램 개발이 필요한 것으로 보인다.

The anion exchange resin widely used in nuclear power plants was irradiated by gamma rayand the chemical and thermal characteristics were investigated. Gamma irradiation of resin resultedpartly in oxidation and degradation of PS-DVB backbone and functional group. Carbon content increasedwith dose, while oxygen content decreased because of crosslinking of resin. But decrease of nitrogencontent resulted from cleavage of C-N bond. Thermal degradation onset temperature of functionalgroup and PS-DVB increased with dose. In addition, the amount of residue was increased by gammairradiation. This show that gamma induced crosslinking of PS-DVB determined in chemical and thermalcharacteristics of anion exchange resin.

Chemical and thermal characteristics of cation exchange resin after gamma irradiation wereinvestigated. Degradation of cation exchange resin predominantly occurred up to a dose of 500 kGy, whilethe balance of degradation and crossfiring reaction was maintained at a dose of 700 kGy. Carbon contentdecreased with gamma irradiation up to a dose of 500 kGy, but increased above dose. The change ofoxygen content was oppositely observed to that of carbon. Surfer content consistently decreased becauseof degradation of sulfone group. Unlike chemical characteristics of gamma irradiated resin, degradationonset temperature of sulfone group and PS-DVB decreased with gamma irradiation. The amount ofdegradation residue of cation exchange resin resulted from gamma induced chemical characteristics ofresin, not thermal characteristics.

Purpose: This study examined the effects of case management (CM) for Medicaid on healthcare utilization considering the Medicaid system. Methods: Data were extracted from survey data on "Healthcare utilization and health status of Medicaid beneficiaries" conducted in 2007 and 2008 by the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs. This study was designed to compare the effects on healthcare utilization between the CM group and the non-CM group. The subjects were 535 Type I Medicaid beneficiaries who utilized healthcare more than 365 days during 2006. Results: The outpatient days and medication days of the CM group decreased significantly more than those of the non-CM group with the copayment system. There were no significant differences of healthcare utilization between the CM group and the non-CM group with the designated doctor system. Conclusion: CM worked effectively on Medicaid beneficiaries outpatient healthcare utilization with the copayment system. However, its effects on hospitalization, which is a major cause increasing the total expense, were not observed. Therefore, future studies are needed to develop strategies to reduce hospitalization and Medicaid beneficiaries outpatient healthcare utilization with the designated doctor system.

Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the gratitude among nursing students. Methods : The data was collected from 261 nursing students who were in four-year undergraduate nursing program using self-reporting questionnaire. Data was analyzed by frequencies, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and scheffe test using the SPSS program. Results: The mean gratitude score was 5.67 among nursing students, indicating the range of 2.67 to 7.00. There were significant differences in the level of gratitude according to satisfaction on major, perceived interpersonal relationships, and perceived physical health state. Conclusioni To improve nursing students gratitude, we should improve satisfaction on major, interpersonal relationships ability, and health promotion behaviors among nursing students.

This study aims to examine the reason for inefficient management and analyze the factors affecting efficiency by measuring and evaluating economic efficiency of individual Shine Muscat(grape) growers. The analysis data is based on the questionnaire survey about current management of Shine Muscat growers in the Gyeongbuk region. The DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) model was used to measure their economic efficiency and examine the reason for inefficient management, and the factors affecting Shine Muscat growers’ economic efficiency was analyzed by means of factor analysis, varimax rotation and the Tobit model. The analysis result is as follows. First, the input element that should be reduced first to improve economic inefficiency of Shine Muscat growers is depreciation cost of farm equipment and farm facilities. It is thus important that Shine Muscat growers have reasonable quantities of farm machines and facilities ideal for their farming scale. Second, another input element to be reduced to improve their economic efficiency is the costs of materials and labor. Third, the factors affecting their economic efficiency are the portion of export and grower’s age compared to the amount of produced Shine Muscat. Shine Muscat growers will be able to improve their economic efficiency by increasing the volume of export and improving their farming skills.
