        금정산 풍하측 저고도의 강풍 현상

        We identified two characteristic turbulent flow cases, weakening and strengthening, which appear at the downwind side. Observations were made two times, Dec. 2-3. 1995 and Feb. 13-14. 1996 at Pusan National University site located downwind side of Kumjeong mountain. Meteorological observation system, tethersonde, was adopted to present observation. In the case of the west wind which blows perpendicular to Sanghak mountain located westward from the site, the wind speed highly increased in exponential with height. Therefore, the low level wind speed was so weak just like Taylor(1988)'s review. While the wind speed was intensified at 200-400m layer when the northwest wind blows from the continental Siberian high. We suppose it is because of the strong vertical convergence of flow between the surface inversion layer and the upper one, and also the horizontal convergence along the saddle and valley between the two mountains, Kumjeong and Sanghak-because of Bernoulli's effect. The inversion layer existed at surface-100m and 500-600m level and the strong wind existed at about 200-400m layer.

        어선-탱크로리 간의 NH3 이적 시 누출에 따른 정량적 피해영향분석

        About 21% of domestic chemical accidents are caused by transport vehicles for the past 10 years in Korea. Also, ammonia is a chemical substance with the largest number of accidents, 82 out of 672. In this study, supposed seasonal alternative scenario and worst scenario in case of releasing ammonia during bunker- ing it from tank lorry to fishing vessel and interpreted seasonal impact and range through Python, ALOHA, Probit analysis. Radiation impact range of possibility for 2nd burn and for maximum radiation in winter scenar- io, which is one of the alternative scenarios, was the highest(range: 41m, radiation: 5.01kW/m2) while over- pressure impact was less than minimum standard of impact. And toxicity impact range(EPRG-2) of the summ- er scenario was the widest(5.0km) and took a very high death rate near accident area(port area, tourist area) ac- cording to Probit analysis. the wort scenario had a similar impact and range of summer scenario. 지난 10년간 국내 화학물질 사고의 약 21%가 운송 차량에 의해 발생하였으며 그중 암모니아는 국내 화학 물질 관련 사고 672건 중 82건으로 가장 많은 사고가 발생한 화학물질이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 어선과 운송 차량 간 암모니아 이적 작업 중 누출사고가 발생할 경우의 계절별 대안 시나리오와 최악의 시나리오를 가정하였고 인구밀도 자료와 기상 특성을 토대로 ALOHA와 프로빗 분석, Python의 Folium 모듈을 통해 피해 범위와 그 영향을 해석하였다. 대안 시나리오에서 복사열의 경우 겨울철 2도 화상이 우려되는 범위가 41m, 최고 복사열이 5.01kW/m2로 가장 높았으며 과압의 경우 피해 최저기준보다 낮은 6.56kPa를 보여 압력에 의한 영향이 적은 것을 파악하였다. 그리고 독성 피해의 경우 여름철 EPPG-2 끝점이 5.0km로 복사열과 과압의 피해 영향보다 넓은 범위를 보였고, 독성 사망률에 대한 프로빗 분석 결과 인구밀도가 높은 항만과 관광지역 에서 95~100%의 사망률을 확인하였다.

        Wildlife as Potential Vectors of African Swine Fever Virus

        The African swine fever virus (ASFV) remains contagious for a long time, not only in the carcass, but also in the bone marrow of an infected animal. The scavenging activity of various animals on ASFV-infected carcasses is a likelyrisk factor for ASFV transmission. Thus, we conducted this study to determine whether scavengers are potential vectors for ASFV. In nonprotected wild boar carcasses on the forest floor, we investigated the seasonal patterns of carcassdecomposition and scavenger visits for feeding on them. The duration from fresh to early skeletonization (only bones and leather remaining) of adult carcasses was 37.6±23.1 days (n=3, range=11-51 days) in winter. The duration fromfresh to later skeletonization (only bones and some fur remaining) of all carcasses, including subadult carcasses, was 8.3±2.5 days (n=4, range=7-12 days) in summer. At all three study sites, leopard cats (30.3%), large-billed crows (21.6%),and golden eagles (18.1%) were the frequently visiting species, representing more than 10% of the total visits (343 visits) in winter, whereas raccoons (21.9%), grey-backed thrushes (39.4%), and eyebrowed thrushes (14.7%) were themost frequent visitors in summer. In winter, crows or cinereous vultures were the first animals to arrive at a carcass; in summer, raccoons or crows arrived first. Our results showed that wild boars, raccoons, and leopard cats relativelyfrequently visited wild boar carcasses and stayed there for a long time. Wild rodents chewing on or staying near carcasses were photographed during winter. In addition to wild boars, thus, mammals, such as raccoons, leopard cats and rodents, and birds, such as accipitrids and thrushes, may be spreaders of ASFV in South Korea.

        대공포 자동송탄장치 동적거동 연구

        An Automatic feed mechanism is one of the most important systems that make up the air defence gun. The System which consists of consecutive mechanisms from a magazine to the breech of automatic machine gun(Dual) carries ammunitions through the feeding pass with a high speed by the electric boosters to synchronize with gun firing speed. In order to feed the rounds smoothly without jamming, it is necessary to optimize the design of the driving torque needed to carry them and to get a proper distribution of power between rounds after performing mathematical calculation. In this study, in order to predict and prevent malfunctions of feeding and unloading ammunition, we have developed an optimal computational model using CATIA and multi-body dynamics software, ADAMS.

        As the size of tanker increase, the analysis and strength prediction of the transverse web frames in a tanker have become important problems. Therefore, several papers dicussed the subject and various method of analysis have been presented. Most of these studies are based on the elastic framework analysis. Framework analysis is carried out by the matrix methods. The matrix methods used most frequently are the displacement method, force method and the transfer matrix method. In this paper, the analysis is carried out by the transfer matrix method. The program has been tested by IBM 1130 and the results of example show good agreements with those by the program of stress analysis, STRESS, which was developed in M.I.T.

        대공포 포탑의 모터 제동장치 개선 연구

        Air Defense System requires fast movement of the turret to detect and attack the flying target of enemy. In order for the air defense system to operate accurately and properly, it is necessary to optimize the design of the motor brake system. The air defense system that is not designed properly has possibility of low performance of the gun turret and environment of operators. The previous air defense system had such flaw in its design and it caused much noise and current in the operation of the turret. In order to resolve this flaw, we changed the position and design of the components of the motor brake system to reduce load and achieved the 62.5% reduced current and 40% reduced noise of the motor brake system compared to the previous design.

        운전 정지 시 보관방법이 고분자 전해질 연료전지의 열화에 미치는 영향 I. 잔류 수소 제거 방법의 영향

        반복적인 작동/멈춤에 의해 고분자전해질 연료전지의 성능 감소가 촉진되며, 이는 연료전지 자동차의 상용화를 위해 반드시 해결되야 한다. 고분자전해질 연료전지 스택의 운전을 정지했을 때 연료극 유로에는 수소가, 공기극 유로에는 공기가 남아 있어 연료전지가 열림회로 전위 상태에 한동안 유지되며 이로 인해 촉매의 소결이 촉진되고 과산화수소 라디칼이 형성되어 전해질를 분해시키는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 반복적인 작동/멈춤이 따라 고분자전해질 연료전지의 성능 감소와 막-전극 접합체의 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하고, 운전 정지 시 잔존 수소를 제거함으로써 연료전지 스택의 내구성을 향상시키는 방법을 제안하였다. Degradation of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) that is facilitated by on/off cycles is one of the most important issues for commercialization of fuel cell vehicles. When a PEMFC stack is shut down, residual hydrogen and induce high voltage equivalent to open circuit voltage to the cathode side that might cause sintering of Pt catalyst and facilitate formation of hydrogen peroxide at the anode side that might decompose $Nafionc\'{A}$ membrane. In this study, degradation of PEMFC exposed to repetitive on/off cycles was investigated by measuring i-V characteristics, ac impedance, cyclic voltammograms, gas leak, cross-sectional SEM images, and TEM images. To prevent degradation of PEMFC caused by the residual gases, hydrogen was removed from anode gas channel by gas-purging and by using a dummy resistance, that were found to be a very effective method.
