        The objective of this paper are to present a realistic methodology to estimate the daily water supply rates form irrigation pumping stattions, to validate it with the field data, and to report the daily irrigation pumping rates from the Han river basin. Five-year historical pumping records were collected from seventy-three pumping stations in the Han river basin. And the daily pumping rates were estimated from the electrical consumption records. The pumping patterns from the stations were analyzed and the results were applied to ungauged pumping stations in the basin. The method was appliedto five stations which were field monitored during the irragation periods in 1998. The relative errors between the observed and simulated water pumpage ranged from 1.4 to 7.0 percent. This indicates that the proposed method is valid to apply for estimating the pumping rates for agricultural lands. During 1993 to 1997, the annual average water pumpaging from the Han river and the tributaries were 350 million cubic meter. The annual water supply from the pumping stations varied from 973 to 1.377 mm in depth and the mean was 1,170 mm. The major factor affecting the annual variations was attributed to the rainfall during the growing seasons.

        The aim of the study to apply green building technology to environmental problems associated with a transparent glazing office building. In other word, with appropriate green building techniques. Environmental load will be reduced and amenity increased. The proper external shading device has a great effect on the reduction of the cooling load, if the characteristics of the solar radiation is considered. This study aims to propose the proper design scheme of the external shading device. The effect of external shading device on the cooling load is evaluated by the numerical simulation(IES·VE).

        지방종거대증:1예보고

        Macrodystrophia lipomatosa is a rare congenital disease characterized by and increase in all mesenchymalelements, particularly fibroadipose tissue. We experienced a case of surgically proven macrodystrophia lipomatosaof index finger in a 44-year-old male. MR imaging showed hypertrophy of fibroadipose tissue that characterizesthis condition. 지방종거대증은 지방섬유조직을 비롯한 모든 증엽조직의 증가를 특징으로 하는 드 문 선천성 질환이다. 저자들이 경험한 44세 남자의 인지에 생긴 지방 종거대증의 MR소견에 서는 이질환의 특징인 T1 고신호, T2 저신호 강도의 지방조직과 T1,T2 저신호 강도의 섬 유조직 과증식이 관찰되었다.

        한국인에서 소뇌편도의 정상 위치

        Purpose : To evaluate normal tonsillar position at different ages, using MR images. Material and Methods : Wemeasured the position of the cerebellar tonsils with respect to the inferior aspect of the foramen magnum onmiddle sagittal MR T1 weight images in 210 patients(9 days to 83 years) who were not considered to have anydisorder that would affect tonsillar position. Results : The mean distance between tonsillar tip and inferioraspect of the foramen magnum was 0.0 $\pm$ 1.9mm in the first decade of life, 0.7 $\pm$ 2.8mm in the fourth decade, and3.4 $\pm$ 2.3 mm in the eighth and ninth decades. The tonsillar position is significantly lower in youth(first andsecond decades) than in old age(seventh to ninth decades). Conclusion : We believe that a single referencestandard that indicates the normal distance of the cerebellar tonsils from the foramen magnum is inappropriateunless age is considered. We suggest that the following distance below the foramen magnum(more than 2 standarddeviations out of the normal range) be used as criteria for ectopia of the cerebellar tonsils in koreans : firstand second decades, 5mm ; third to sixth decades, 4mm ; seventh and eighth decades, 3mm.

        관개논과 산림유역의 홍수유출 특성 비교

        Rainfall and runoff data from a forested watershed and irrigated rice paddies at the Bal-an experimental watershed were monitored and analyzed to investigate the variations of runoff characteristics with different land use. The comparisons were conducted fourteen storm events ranging 21.8~190.2 mm of rainfall. Field data showed that direct runoff from paddies and forested watershed are not significantly different in volume. The peak discharge from forest watershed was less than that from paddies for lighter storms, but became greater for heavier storms. The peak runoff from the forest watershed was 39 percent greater than from the paddies. The results demonstrate that paddies play an important role to reduce peak discharge from heavy storms as compared to forest. 강우시에 발생하는 홍수유출량은 유역의 토지이용에 많은 영향을 받게 된다. 본 연구에서는 산림유역와 관개논 지구에 대하여 수문계측망을 구성하고, 강우량 및 유출량 자료를 수집하여 분석함으로써 토지이용에 따른 홍수유출량의 변화를 분석하였다.본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.① 발안유역의 산림유역과 관개논 유역에 대하여 수문계측망을 구성하고, 동일한 강우에 대한 유출량 자료가 각각 존재하는 14개의 강우-유출량 자료를 선정하였다.② 산림유역과 관개논 유역의 직접유출량과 첨두유량을 시기별로 비교한 결과, 직접유출량은 시기별로 유사한 경향을 보였으나 첨두유량은 8월에는 산림유역이 관개논 보다 79% 정도 크게 나타났으며, 9월에는 관개논이 55% 정도 크게 나타났다.③ 강우량의 변화에 따른 직접유출량을 비교하면 60 mm보다 적은 강우에서는 관개논이 산림유역보다 크게 나타났으며, 60 mm보다 큰 강우에 대해서는 두 유역에서 유사하게 나타났다. 첨두유량의 경우, 60 mm보다 적은 강우에서는 관개논이 조금 크게 나타났으며, 60~90 mm의 강우에서는 산림유역이 92% 정도 크게 나타나고, 90 mm 이상의 강우에서는 유사한 경향을 보였다.④ 단순회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 산림유역의 직접유출량은 관개논과 매우 유사하며 그 차이는 7% 정도였으며, 첨두유량은 39% 정도 산림유역이 크게 나타났다.

        We`re eating meat over the past century, obesity, which resulted in many kinds of complications. So now in the scientific community on this medicine good for the human body is being used from research we should extract the active ingredient of the product and steady progress. The scale is growing. For this study, by using `microwave extraction method`, we can save energy, simplify the time, reduce the solvent than traditional extraction method. so we can expect radically increasing efficiency. This allows the final `microwave extraction method` to optimize levels according to sampling.
