Systems Pharmacological Analysis of Dichroae Radix in Anti-Tumor Metastasis Activity

Objectives : While treatments for cancer are advancing, the development of effective treatments for cancer metastasis, the main cause of cancer patient death, remains insufficient. Recent studies on Dichroae Radix have revealed that its active ingredients have the potential to inhibit cancer metastasis. This study aimed to investigate the cancer metastasis inhibitory effect of Dichroae Radix using network pharmacological analysis. Methods : The active compounds of Dichroae Radix have been identified using Traditional Chinese Medicine System Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform. The UniProt database was used to collect each of information of all target proteins associated with the active compounds. To find the bio-metabolic processes associated with each target, the DAVID6.8 Gene Functional classifier tool was used. Compound-Target and Target-Pathway networks were analyzed via Cytoscape 3.40. Results : In total, 25 active compounds and their 62 non-redundant targets were selected through the TCMSP database and analysis platform. The target genes underwent gene ontology and pathway enrichment analysis. The gene list applied to the gene ontology analysis revealed associations with various biological processes, including signal transduction, chemical synaptic transmission, G-protein-coupled receptor signaling pathways, response to xenobiotic stimulus, and response to drugs, among others. A total of eleven genes, including HSP90AB1, CALM1, F2, AR, PAKACA, PTGS2, NOS2, RXRA, ESR1, ESR2, and NCOA1, were found to be associated with biological pathways related to cancer metastasis. Furthermore, nineteen of the active compounds from Dichroae Radix were confirmed to interact with these genes. Conclusions : The results provide valuable insights into the mechanism of action and molecular targets of Dichroae Radix. Notably, Berberine, the main active ingredient of Dichroae Radix, plays a significant role in degrading AR proteins in advanced prostate cancer. Further studies and validations can provide crucial data to advance cancer metastasis prevention and treatment strategies.
용도별 공공건축물의 한옥 구성요소 적용 실태 조사 분석

Purpose: In order to investigate the degree and application of han-ok Element for public buildings, we conducted a survey focusing on the application of han-ok elements among public buildings. Based on this, we analyzed the degree and characteristics of application of han-ok elements applied to each public building do. Method: The application and characteristics of han-ok and han-ok elements applied to public buildings were analyzed for 47 cases located in the nation centered on Type 1, 2 neighborhood facilities, culture and rally facility, educational and research facility, old and young facility and business facility. Result: First, the application methods of han-ok elements are different for each use and function. Second, in the case of the large - scale space, the design elements of the han-ok were applied only to a part of the exterior and used only as an aesthetic element which does not interfere with the use - specific characteristics. Third, the roof part is most commonly adopted regardless of the use of the public buildings, and it is understood that the element which is easy to express the image of the han-ok such as the tile is applied in almost all cases.

Purpose: The low birth rate and the aging society are rapidly emerging, and the lowest birth rate ever recorded in 2019. This leads to a decrease in reduction in the number of students and affects educational facilities. In addition, there is no legal system and guidelines on how to use Unused Classroom compared to the increasing number of Unused Classrooms. The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the establishment of legal system and guidelines for concrete utilization plans for future Unused Classrooms. Among the educational facilities, the use of Unused Classrooms for elementary school, middle school, and high school was analyzed by type of use. Method: Type criteria were established to categorize the use of unused classrooms by type, and then the elements of the school and local facilities were derived. Also, to analyze the use of idle classrooms, the users were classified as children, the elderly, general residents, students, and disaster occurrences. Based on the factors derived above, we analyzed how to use idle classrooms by type using existing studies and cases. Result: First, the utilization of the unused classroom is related to the complexation of school facilities. Second, the name of the project using idle classrooms of similar subjects is different in each region. Third, guidelines and policies that can be reflected in the use of idle classrooms are needed. In the future, guidelines and policies should be prepared related to the use of idle classrooms.
한옥 지원 조례에 나타난 지원 제도 현황 및 유형 분석

Purpose: Recently, the government is making efforts to spread and spread the style of Han-ok architecture by providing subsidies and reduction of floor area ratio when applying the Han-ok to civilians. In this study, we analyzed the status of the system presented in the ordinance by classifying the types of the support system. Through this, it is intended to provide basic data for suggesting specific guidelines and policy suggestions for the Han-ok support bylaw. Method: Theoretical system of the Han-ok and related research trends were theoretically examined to understand the flow of support for the Han-ok. Based on this, the ordinances related to Han-ok support were classified into Han-ok subsidies, application of architectural specialty, and support for Han-ok architecture according to the support system. Based on the categorized contents, the support system was classified by type, and the characteristics of the support system indicated in the Han-ok Ordinance were derived. Result: First, the criteria for grants are different for local government. Second, the upper law of the Han-ok Support Ordinance stipulates special clauses on architecture, but not in other city and county ordinances except in the case of Gangwon Province, Gyeonggi Province, Gwangju Metropolitan City, Sejong City, and Incheon Metropolitan City. Third, it is necessary to actively introduce the provisions of the Han-ok Architecture Style in each local government's ordinance to support the Han-ok Architecture style.
