$Eu^{2+}$-doped $\beta$-SiAlONs ($Si_{6-z}Al_zO_zN_{8-z}:Eu_y$) are recognized as promising phosphor materials to build an white LED for lighting application due to its excellent absorption/emission efficiency in the long wave length region. In this research, the fabrication of $\beta$-SiAlON:Eu plate phosphor by sintering was investigated with fixed Eu content(y) and varied composition of the host lattice(z). The addition of the activator $Eu_2O_3$ lead to enhanced densification by forming the transient liquid phase. The refinement of a composition by the calculated lattice parameter indicated that the measured composition of the fabricated specimens is nearly same to that of designed one. The single phase $\beta$-SiAlON:Eu plate with relative density of 96.4% was achieved by addition of 2 wt% CaO, which implies the possibility of full densification by adjusting the processing variables.

본 고는 고려 문종 시기의 여송 국교 재개에 관한 연구로 분문의 내용을 5장으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 본문 1장은 들어가는 말로 11세기의 동북아 국제정세에 대해 살펴보았다. 2장에서는 여송 국교 재개의 배경을 설명하고, 3장에서는 여송 국교 재개의 원인을 알아보았다. 4장에서는 여송 국교 재개의 전개로 양국의 견해 차이와 더불어 국교 재개 과정을 살펴보았다. 5장은 나오는 말로 국교 재개를 통해 얻은 결론을 기술하였다. The following paper is trying to examine the restoration of the official diplomatic relations between Song China and Koryo dynasty during the late 11th century. This paper is also trying to investigate the differently written Chinese and Korean primary sources especially in relating to the 1068-1071 historical incidents. The political situation in the 11th century not only formed a new international order in East Asia but also established a balance of power among the Khitans, Song China and Koryo dynasty, such that there was no single power dominated. Peaceful conditions were thus maintained and led to economic and cultural prosperity in this area. After Koreans accepted Khitan supremacy through the long wars between the two states in 1019, the Koryo dynasty had sought strategically important ally in East Asia, particularly with the Song which eventually restored the official diplomatic relations between the Chinese and Koreans during the 1068-1071. Since that time, the relations between the Song and Koryo dynasty were so close that they not only exchanged envoys but also many cultural products. For instance, In 1079, when King Munzong of Koryo fell ill, Emperor Shenzong had specially sent medical officials to cure the aged Korean king as an expression of the importance of this state to the Song government.
파지 형태 감지를 통한 휴대 단말용 사용자 인터페이스 개발

본 논문에서는 휴대 단말기의 조작을 손쉽게 할 수 있는 새로운 사용자 인터페이스 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 사용자 인터페이스의 기본 개념은 사용자의 휴대 단말 파지 형태를 감지 및 인식해 해당파지 형태에 가장 적절한 기능을 실행하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 사용자의 파지 형태를 감지할 수 있는 정전 용량 기반 터치 센서를 디스플레이 부를 제외한 모든 면에 장착하고 감지된 파지 형태에 가장 적합한 기능을 제안하는 인식 알고리즘을 장착한 시제품을 제작한다. 제안된 방법의 효용성을 실제 사용자 파지 형태 데이터에 기반한 인식률을 측정해 검증하였다. This paper presents a novel user interface system which aims at easy controlling of mobile devices. The fundamental concept of the proposed interface is to launch an appropriate function of the device by sensing and recognizing the grip-pattern when the user tries to use the mobile device. To this end, we develop a prototype system which employs capacitive touch sensors covering the housing of the system and a recognition algorithm for offering the appropriate function which suitable for the sensed grip-pattern. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method is evaluated through the test of recognition rate with the collected grip-pattern database.

이 논문은 중국사에서 지금까지 논란의 여지가 있는 주요 사건 중 하나인 후진시기의 “연운16주” 할양을 당시의 시대적 배경을 중심으로 고찰해보고, 또한 후대에 끼친 영향도 알아보았다. 본 고는 먼저 “연운16주”의 역사적 배경과 전략적 가치를 진한 시기부터 당 후기까지 살펴보았다. 그런 다음 후진 왕조를 세운 석경당이 거란의 군사원조를 얻기 위해 “연운16주”라는 전략적 요충지를 기어이 거란에 넘겨주어야만 했는지에관한 당시 상황에 주목하였다. 여기에서는 석경당뿐만 아니라, 그의 이와 같은 영토할양 결정에 큰 영향을 끼친 상유한과 유지원, 그리고 조덕균이라는 인물과 그들과 관련된 사건 중심으로 각자의 입장도 들여다보았다. 이처럼 당시의 시대적 맥락과 주요 인물들이 처한 특정 상황을 자세히 분석함으로써, 이 역사적 사건을 다차원적으로 이해해 보려 하였다. 마지막으로 북송까지의 역사를 중심으로 “연운16주” 할양이 중국사에 끼친 역사적 의의를 알아보고, 나아가 동아시아 속에서의 “연운16주” 할양이 지닌 역사적의의도 함께 살펴보았다. Historically, “Yan-Yun 16 Prefectures (燕雲16州)” were some of the important strategical places in early imperial China. These areas, which started in modern day Datong (大同) and ended in Tianjin (天津), included the capital city, Beijing (北 京) and were just below location of the Great Wall (長城). The main reason why the “Yan-Yun 16 Prefectures” were created by the imperial Chinese government was to better defend the border from threatening nomadic tribes such as the Xiongnu (匈奴), Xianbei (鮮卑), Youran (柔然), Turks (突厥) and Khitans (契丹), who had consistently attempted to break into the economically and culturally prospering Chinese empire. In other words, imperial China installed the prefectures as a major military bases to solidify state security. Although there are many past studies on the “Yan-Yun 16 Prefectures,” there are still many un-answered historical questions, including why the Later Jin (後晉) had ceded this strategic area to the Khitan Empire. More specifically, why the first emperor of the Later Jin agreed to this bad policy decision made by his main political advisor Sang Weihan (桑維翰)? And Why did Sang himself, who was one of the top elites in the Chinese Empire, made such a suggestion to the emperor? Finally, during the cessation of the prefectures to the Khitans, what was the position and role of the military warlords, Liu Zhiyuan (劉知遠) and Zhao Dejun (趙德鈞)? In order to answer these questions, this paper is delved into the historical background of the “Yan-Yun 16 Prefectures” in the first chapter and examines the strategic importance of these areas from the Qin-Han (秦漢) through late Tang (唐後期). Following this, the paper investigates the main reasons as to why the Later Jin ceded the prefectures to the Khitan empire through carefully analyzing the roles of four individuals, specifically emperor Shi Jingtang (石敬塘), Sang Weihan, Liu Zhiyuan and Zhao Dejun. Finally, in the last chapter, the paper discusses the historical significance of the “Yan-Yun 16 Prefectures” through analysis of the Later period of Five Dynasties up to mid Northern Song when the Chinese Empire significantly re-established its diplomatic relations with the Koryo dynasty in 1071. Through the re-examination of the “Yan-Yun 16 Prefectures,” this paper hope to make an academic contribution to the scholarly world and help us to understand the politically / militarily significant areas in imperial Chinese history.

Statement of problem: Little is known about the effect of abutment preparation procedure on do-torque values in different implant platform and the relationship of final do-torque values with different implant platform size. Purpose: This study evaluated the effect of abutment preparation procedure on do-torque values in different implant platform and the relationship of final do-torque values with different implant platform size. Material and method: Six ITI implants (2 narrow-neck implants, 2 regular-neck implants, 2 wide-neck implants) and six Branemark implants (2 narrow platforms, 2 regular platforms, 2 wide platforms) were embedded in each acrylic resin block with epoxy resin. Eighteen $synOcta^(R)$ abutments (6 narrow-neck implant-abutments, 6 regular-neck implant-abutments, 6 wide-neck implant-abutments) and eighteen esthetic abutments (6 narrow platform-abutments, 6 regular platform-abutments, 6 wide platform-abutments) were tightened to each implant with digital torque gauge. Initial do-torque values were measured using digital torque gauge. After preparation of abutments, Final do-torque values were measured with digital torque gauge. Results and conclusion: 1. Screws loosening or abutments motion were not detected in all experimental group, but some scratches of implant-abutment joints were detected in all group 2. Reduction ratios of final do-torque values were greater than initial do-torque values in all measured group, except in narrow-neck implant-abutment group (p<0.05). 3. Reduction ratios of final do-torque values in wide-neck implant-abutment group were greater than regular-neck implant-abutment group (p<0.01). 4. The greatest standard deviation value was detected in wide platform group in both implant systems.
