Egg grading machine is used in classifying eggs by their weight and in packing them. Packer holder mechanism is main part of the egg grading machine, of which main role is to deliver eggs vertically from conveyor belt to mold tray. This paper describes the design of cam mechanism in packer holder and measurement of its noise and acceleration. Several cams, that are designed and manufactured by the author of this paper, are compared in terms of their functionality of moving eggs.

Egg grading machine is used in poultry raising industry to classify eggs by their weight and to pack up them. Packer holder mechanism is a main part of the egg grading machine, of which role is to take eggs fallen from conveyor belt, and afterward to transfer eggs vertically to mold tray. The vertical motion of packer holder is usually driven by slider-crank mechanism or cam. This paper describes development of the cam in packer holder based on kinematic analysis of packer holder mechanism and measurement of acceleration and noise of the cam to verify performance of it. Several cams that are designed and manufactured by the author of this paper according to different design specification are compared to determine the best solution for egg transfer in the packer holder mechanism.

An egg grading machine is composed of many mechanisms of which functions are to carry eggs to the bucket in that sensors are located to categorize eggs by their weight, to transfer eggs from the basket of packer holder to the mold tray, to feed the mold tray dispenser after egg chairs are filled with eggs. This paper deals with the analysis and new design of packer holder mechanism of which function is transfer eggs vertically from the bucket conveyor to the mold tray dispenser. Egg is fragile to impact so in designing packer holder mechanism it is necessary to estimate moving speed, acceleration and impact when eggs are touched by any links of mechanism and mold tray dispenser. A new packer holder mechanism is proposed in this paper, which use quick return mechanism composed of 6 links with pin and contact joints.

Among snow removal equipment, snow blower and snow shovel are widely used in Korea. Those are convenient and economic tools to clear snow in relatively short period of time. But in urban area it difficult to scatter snow by blower or piling up with shovel because of narrow space and traffic. This paper describes the development of snow transfer system, which is composed with blower and conveyor assembly and located on a moving vehicle. Snow on the road is transferred to a tank on the truck by the system and will be taken out of or melted on the working site. This paper suggests method for calculating snow transfer quantity of blower by analyzing geometric shape of blower section. Coefficient Fs is introduced in the calculation which estimates degree of snow compression. Experiment was done for the transfer system on a truck and verified its ability of snow transferring in given time.
기하학적 제한 조건에 의한 파티클 필터링 성능 평가 연구

융합과 필터링(Fusion and Filtering: F/F) 기법은 신호처리, 제어 등 많은 공학분야에서 사용되며 현재 파티클 필터(Particle Filter: PF)가 최근 가장 각광받고 있다. 그러나 비선형 시스템과 모델링 하기 어려운 에러조건 때문에 기존의 파티클 필터조차 제대로 다루지 못하는 공학환경이 존재한다. 이에 파티클 필터뿐만 아니라 칼만 계열(Kalman varieties)의 필터 방법들을 통합할 수 있는 Constraint Manifold(CM) 기반 융합과 필터링 방법이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 CM 기반 필터링을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 제한 조건 표현에 대한 방법론을 제시하면 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존 파티클 필터와의 성능 비교를 수행하였다.

Snow removal system is named for machinery which manages roads for passing of pedestrians and automobiles when snow is piled up on the road. This paper studies the configuration design of snow removal system that has several function ? melting snow in the street without moving it, transferring snow to the melter and cleaning road by spraying water. These sort of functions are analysed by function decomposition method of Kirshmand and Fadel and, based upon which, machine assemblies are selected. Layout design would follow functional design to testify if the selected component satisfy space which is allowed by constraints.
