The relationship between photo-catalytic performance and optical property over Si-incorporated TiO2

This study focuses on the relationship between photo-catalytic performance and optical property over Si-incorporated TiO2. The Siincorporated TiO2 particles exhibited a pure structure of anatase having a particle size of less than 20 nm and surface area of more than 190 m2/g. The absorbance did not shift to a higher wavelength in spite of the incorporation of the Si ions, but the intensity of the photoluminescence (PL) curve was the smallest in the case of the 2.0 mol% Si-TiO2, which was related to the recombination between the excited electrons and holes. Based on these results, the photodecomposition of methyl orange in the liquid reaction was enhanced over the 2.0 mol% Si-incorporated TiO2 compared with that over pure TiO2: Methyl orange at 10.0 ppm was completely decomposed after 100 min when 1.0 g of the 2.0 mol% Siincorporated TiO2 was used.

I made research for the limiting state of the birth and death process among Markov prob�ability processes which are depending on the state of a transitional priority. The birth and .death process has included the birth process and the death process at the same time, but there has been in case of oneside, while there have been inclusions of both sides in much case. In this process, according to how to situate the birth percentage and the death percentage, a transition probability has set and the limiting state of process has got different. The purpose of the main subject means that in case of random variable Xt has only a disc�rete variable 0, 1, 2, 3, •••••• in case of time-homogeneousness, the situating method by the birth percentage and the death percentage has divided into some forms; and then the limiting state has become clear under every form, and this result has been evident.

We demonstrate NIR detectable MoS₂ phototransistors, combining a siloxane encapsulated upconversion-nanoparticle (UCNP) wavelength converting layers and high visible photoresponse of MoS₂ phototransistors. Monolayer of MoS₂ with direct bandgap is promising semiconducting materials for UV-Visible photodetector (PD), but it has large bandgap for NIR detection. Lanthanide doped UCNPs are capable of converting NIR excitation into visible so that high visible response MoS₂ PD can be transformed NIR PDs using wavelength converting layers. The oleic acid capped UCNPs and highly condensed siloxane materials with thiol functional groups and methacrylate were radically polymerized and cross-linked via thiol-ene reaction. We demonstrate green emitting siloxane encapsulated UCNP layers under NIR illumination and coupled it MoS₂ phototransistors to enhanced its NIR photoresponsivity. We envisage the potential of siloxane encapsulated UCNPs as functional platform for future bio-integrated devices.

We present here the radiological findings of a rare case of multiple focal nodular hyperplasia that was associated with portal vein atresia and portopulmonary hypertension in a young woman. This case illustrates and supports the pathophysiological hypotheses that were previously proposed for the coexistence of these three abnormalities.
