As the load density of KEOCO system is higher, the fault current can be much higher than SCC(Short Circuit Capacity) of circuit breaker. Fault current exceeding the rating of circuit breaker is a very serious problem in high density load area, which can threaten the stability of whole power system. Even though there are several alternatives to reduce fault current, as the superconductivity technology has been developed, the HTS-FCL(High Temperature Superconductivity Fault Current Limiter) can be one of the attractive alternatives to solve the fault current problem. This study presents the application of 154kV HTS-FCL in Korean power system.
반응성 스퍼터링법으로 증착된 CoNx 중간층을 이용한 (100)Si 기판 위에서의 에피택셜 CoSi2 성장 연구

A novel method was proposed to grow an epitaxial $CoSi_2$ on (100)Si substrate. A $CoN_x$ interlayer was deposited by reactive sputtering of Co in an Ar+$N_2$ flow. From the Ti/Co/$CoN_x$/Si structure, a uniform and thin $CoSi_2$ layer was epitaxially grown on (100)Si by annealing above $700^{\circ}C$. Two amorphous layers were found at the $CoN_x$/Si interface, where the top layer has a silicon nitride (Si-N) bonding state with some Co content and the bottom layer has a Co-Si intermixing state. The SiNx amorphous layer seems to play a critical role of suppressing the diffusion of Co into Si substrate for the direct formation of epitaxial $CoSi_2$.

The mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced vinylester reinforcing bars(rebar) in various environment conditions such as moisture, chloride, alkali and freeze-thaw actions at temperature ranging from room temperature(25℃) to high temperature of up to 80℃ in this paper. From the test results, it was found that tensile strength and interfacial shear strength of GFRP bar decreased with the increasing of temperature and holding time of each environment condition.
서울ㆍ경기 지역 상인의 일기(1899-1910)에 나타난 일상체험과 근대적 공공성

This article is about the national consciousness of one of the common people (i.e. a vegetable oil merchant, Ju In-Sik) who was neither an intellectual nor a politician who was able to make an impact on the national agenda. The period? i.e. the late 19th century-when he began to write his diary was the period when nationalism was forming in Korea. There were two points of disagreement between him and the nationalistic intellectuals who were newspaper editors. One is the matter of their view of the Kojong emperor. Ju In-Sik had been conscious of the state through Kojong when Japan and Russia had invaded the Great Han Empire (=Daehan jeguk, this is the name of Korea from 1897 to 1910), and he blamed the righteous bandit -Hwalbindang-for creating a robber band and criticized the Pro-Japanese high government officials as traitors to his country. In comparison, the newspaper editors regarded the Joseon Dynasty as an obstacle to reform, calling on ancient history (especially Dangun) again as the origin of the nation on behalf of the Joseon Dynasty. Both of them established schools for the enlightening of the Korean people. He could not have established the Kyeunmyung school if he had not obtained help from the local community-the village association called Donghoe(洞會). The village people began to think that they were not subjects of Dynasty society but they had twenty-million compatriots in Korea. Another one is the matter of the righteous army. Ju In-Sik had a deep respect for the leaders of the righteous army against Japanese imperialism and he imagined his country's future through them. However, the newspaper editors criticised them as an obstacle to civilization. This case shows that the national consciousness was not only something that was imagined as a project from above but it was also closely related to the culture which accumulated from the bottom of society.
