        스마트폰중독과 정신병리 사이의 상관관계

        Objectives This study aims to investigate possible associations between proneness toward smartphone addiction and certain psychopathological variables to evaluate the psychopathological meaning of smartphone addiction. Methods Questionnaires were assigned to 755 adults between September and November 2012. We used the Korean Smartphone Addiction Proneness Scale (SAPS), the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory-Revised (OCI-R), and the Barratt Impulsivity Scale-11 (BIS-11). Subjects were classified into two groups according to the scores of the SAPS ; the addiction proneness group and the normal-user group. Results The addiction proneness group had significantly higher scores than the normal-user group in the BDI, BAI, OCI-R, and BIS-11. The scores of the SAPS were positively correlated with the scores of the BDI, BAI, OCI-R, and BIS-11. Using logistic regression analysis, smartphone addiction proneness showed a significant association with BIS-11. Conclusions The results of this study suggest that smartphone addiction proneness may be associated with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and impulsivity. Furthermore, impulsivity could be a vulnerability marker for smartphone addiction proneness.

        Photoionization Models for Planetary Nebulae: Comparison of Predictions by NEBULA and CLOUDY

        The Galactic planetary nebulae emit many strong recombination and forbidden lines. By analyzing such lines, the physical condition of the planetary nebulae has been inferred using the strategically important diagnostic line ratios. In order to fully understand the physical condition of a planetary nebula and to derive its chemical abundances, the photoionization model codes, e.g., CLOUDY and NEBULA, were employed for an analysis of gaseous nebular spectra. For the well-studied, relatively simple planetary nebula NGC 7026, theoretical investigation was done with about the same input parameters in models. The predictions made by both codes seem to be in good accord. However, the predicted physical conditions, such as electron temperature and density, are slightly different. Especially, the electron temperatures are predicted to be higher in CLOUDY, which may cause a problem in chemical abundance determination. Our analysis shows that the main discordance may occur due to the diffuse radiation.

        통합의료, 의료인과 정부에 바란다

        Our aging society, rapid growth of diseases resulting from unhealty habits, frequent occurrences of sickness, and variations in the awareness of health by patients, the worldwide need for integrative medicine, which means the incorporation and integration of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) into conventional medical systems, is growing rapidly. The most widely available forms of CAM in the treatment of diseases in the U.S. and Europe are acupuncture,chiropractic, phytomedicine (western herbal medicine), mind-body therapies, and nutrition therapy. The well-known hospitals in the U.S. and in Europe (e.g., Harvard, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Duke, Maryland, Essen, and Humboldt) are offering integrative medicine. The clinical practices as well as the education on CAM of medical schools is becoming more widespread in Korea. It is critical for us as physicians to be aware that the role of CAM is to support and complement conventional medicine, not to substitute for it. To manage chronic diseases effectively, it is imperative for physicians to incorporate and integrate Korean oriental medicine as well as CAM into the conventional medical systems. It is the duty of the medical universities and hospitals to integrate care delivery proven by CAM therapies into the conventional medicine and to develop the standard curriculum for integrative medicine at the undergraduate and graduate levels. To globalize Korean oriental medicine and to scientifically prove the efficiency of CAM, the role of integrative medicine is critical. One of the most important roles of the Ministry of Health and Welfare is to support the hospitals in which integrative medicine is systematically practiced and financially supported. In order to successfully accomplish integrative medicine in Korea, it is important to not only establish an integrative medicine center, but to also develop the contents and clinical pathway along with legal systems regarding integrative medicine with the support of the specialists in the field of integrative medicine.

        공생별 Z And의 선윤곽 분석

        The symbiotic nova Z Andromedae (And) was investigated, using the high dispersion spectra of spectral resolution, Δλ ~0.1Å. The spectral observations were done with (1) the Hamilton Echelle Spectrograph (HES) and the high resolution spectra (exposures=1800s and 3600s) were obtained at Lick Observatory in 2001 August 30th (phase Φ =0.77), and 2002 August 12th (phase Φ =0.22), (2) with the Bohyunsan Echelle Spectrograph (BOES) at Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory and the high resolution spectra (exposure=1200s) were secured in 2009 October 21st (phase Φ =0.70). From both the HES and BOES spectral data in the 3600Å-9500Å wavelengths, we extracted the emission lines of HI, HeI, and HeII, which have been decomposed into double or triple Gaussian components for 3 consecutive phases. The emission zones responsible for these components appear to be closely related with the orbital motion of a white dwarf or a giant star. The presence of the Raman scattering Hα broad wing feature and the kinematic characteristics of the line profile observed in each phase imply that the Z And emission lines are mostly from two Lagrangian points, L1 and L2, and the accretion disk around the white dwarf star. The Z And was most active in 2009 and 2001 during the outburst phase, while it remained quiescent in 2002 in spite of the complex line profiles. 분해능이 Δλ ~0.1Å인 고분산 분광기를 사용하여 공생별 Z Andromedae (And)의 분광자료를 연구하였다. 분광관측은 (1) 2001년 8월 30일(위상 Φ =0.77)과 2002년 8월 12일(위상 Φ =0.22)에 Lick 천문대의 Hamilton Echelle Spectrograph (HES)를 사용하여, 1800초와 3600초 노출의 고분산 자료를 얻었으며, (2) 2009년 10월 21일(위상 Φ =0.70)에는 보현산 천문대의 Bohyunsan Echelle Spectrograph (BOES)를 사용하여 1200초 노출 시간의 고분산 자료를 얻었다. 약 3600Å-9500Å파장대의 HES와 BOES 관측 자료로 부터 HI, HeI, HeII에 대한 방출선을 선택하여 분석하였다. 이 선들의 선 윤곽 분석 작업을 통해 2개 또는 3개로 분리시키고, 위상별로 각 성분이 어떤 지역에서 형성되고, 백색왜성과 적색거성의 궤도 운동과 어떠한 관련이 있는지를 조사하였다. 라만 산란(Raman scattering)된 Hα선 선폭 및 HI, HeI, HeII의 위상별 변화를 보이는 방출선의 특성으로부터, 방출선들은 백색왜성 주위를 감싸는 강착원반과 이 원반 안의 두 라그랑지안(Lagrangian) 포인트 L1과 L2지역에서 주로 생성된 것으로 결론지었다. Z And는 활동성이 2009년과 2001년에 가장 활발했고, 2002년의 선 윤곽은 매우 복잡한 양상을 보임에도 불구하고, 활동성은 비교적 조용하였음을 암시하고 있다.

        BIM 기반 디자인 프로세스에서의 파라메트릭 디자인 툴 활용에 관한 연구

        The theoretical framework of this study focuses on design aspects of BIM as a parametric design tool to study and generate complex geometric forms based on series of parameters and pre-programmed rules, and to test a variety of simulated design alternatives responding to dynamic variety of geometrical, functional and environmental constraints in the process of design. BIM is one of the most prominent themes in today’s architectural industry, and has many benefits that can be directly applied to design studies during the early design phase. However in Korea, BIM is still limitedly recognized as a documentation tool to produce design deliverables or only as an integrated platform to closely collaborate with other engineering and construction disciplines. Therefore, this study explores theoretical basis of parametric design related to BIM, and also intends to analyze how parametric thinking and methodologies can be applied to design process in architectural practice through international case studies and how they are evolving into the next phase.

        웹 어플리케이션을 활용한 건축설계 프로세스에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to suggest the process model of architectural design using the web application. In the era of rapid change in social trend to properly respond the pattern of the customers's needs, it is necessary that the method of architectural design process for seize customer's needs on real time. Suggested process model moved the point of user evaluation in existing process model to investigation & analysis stage. After then, data collected by web-based application(HTML, ASP, SQL) are to be processed and saved database management system on real time.
