In this paper, we propose a new binocular stereo correspondence method by maximizing a fitness formulated by integrating two constraints of edge similarity and disparity smoothness simultaneously. The proposed stereopsis focusing to measure distances to leading vehicles on roads uses intensity gradients as matching attribute. In contrast to the previous work of area-based stereo matching, in which matching unit is a pixel, the matching unit of the proposed method becomes an area itself which is obtained by selecting a series of pixels enclosed by two pixels on the left and right boundaries of an object. This approach allows us to cope with real-time processing and to avoid window size selection problems arising from conventional area-based stereo.

This paper introduces a computer program ARAP, explaining how it automatically analyzes and evaluates academic research articles and books. It also shows how ARAP can help trace the trend of a certain theory by reviewing existing publications. As an illustration, ARAP is used to review Korean linguistic publications in order to show how Western semantic theories have influenced semantic studies in Korea. This paper proposes an approach to extract generic obstacles on roads using remapped stereo images to an overhead view. The proposed approach uses the fact that the information of road surface on the remapped image is distorted by an obstacle, and formulates the generic obstacle detection (GOD) problem as a dynamic programming (DP), which contributes to search for corresponding peaks on polar histograms constructed by vertical edge components of the remapped stereo images. The corresponding peaks determine the estimates of obstacles' positions. The approach has features that it is not largely affected by intensity difference between a pair of stereo images and does not depend on the typical stereo matching, and identifies the obstacle's position quite well.<br/>
국내 학술지에 게재된 서번트 리더십 관련 연구동향 분석

이 연구의 목적은 2011에서 2020년까지 국내 학술지인 KCI 등재 학술지에 게재된 논문을 대상으로 서번트 리더십에 대한 연구동향을 분석하는 것이다. 이 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법으로 문헌분석 및 통계분석 방법을 활용하여 국내 학술지에 게재된 서번트 리더십 관련 52편 연구물의 특성별, 연구주제별, 연구대상별, 연구방법별에 대한 연구동향을 분석하였다. 구체적인 연구결론은 첫째, 2011-2020년 서번트 리더십 관련 연구물 특성별 연구동향 중 연도별로는 최근 2015년부터 2020년까지 많은 연구들(37편)이 수행되었다. 연구분야별로는 교육, 일반기업, 호텔, 예체능의 분야 등의 순이었다. 둘째, 연구주제별에서는 영향관계 분석, 기초 연구, 인식 및 관계 분석 등의 순이었다. 셋째, 연구대상별로는 직원, 학생, 교사 등의 순이었으며, 넷째, 연구방법별로는 양적 연구가 가장 많이 수행되었다. 이러한 연구결론을 바탕으로 향후 연구에서의 제언으로는 연구분야, 연구주제, 연구대상 및 연구방법을 확대하여 다양한 연구들이 수행되어져야 할 것이다. This study analyzed the research trends of servant leadership by studying theses published in KCI academic journals of Korea from 2011 to 2020. To achieve its research purpose, it analyzed the research trends of 52 studies published in domestic academic journals related to servant leadership by characteristic, research topic, research subject, and research method. First, research trends analyzed by the characteristic of year showed that most studies were conducted during the recent years of 2015 to 2020 (37 studies) among the studies related to servant leadership. By research field, studies were conducted in the fields of education, general businesses, hotels, and art, music, and physical education, in that order. Second, research topics were shown to be in the order of influential relationship analysis, basic research, and perception and relationship analysis. Third, research subjects were shown to be in the order of employees, students, and teachers, and fourth, most studies used the research method of quantitative studies. Based on such conclusions, future research should have expanded research fields, research topics, research subjects, and research methods so that diverse studies can be conducted.

This paper presents a novel algorithm in order to extract lane-related information based on machine vision techniques. The algorithm makes up for the weak points of the former method, the Edge Distribution Function (EDF)-based approach, by introducing a Lane Boundary Pixel Extractor (LBPE) and the well-known Hough Transform (HT). The LBPE that serves as a filter to extract pixels expected to be on lane boundaries enhances the robustness of machine vision, and provides its results to the HT implementation and EDF construction. The HT forms the accumulator arrays and extracts the lane-related parameters composed of orientation and distance. Furthermore, as the histogram of edge magnitude with respect to edge orientation angle, the EDF has peaks at the orientations corresponding to lane slopes on the perspective image domain. Therefore, by fusing the results from the EDF and the HT the proposed algorithm improves the confidence of the extracted lane-related information. The system shows successful results under various degrees of illumination.
GMM을 위한 점진적 ${\cal}k-means$ 알고리즘에 의해 초기값을 갖는 EM알고리즘과 화자식별에의 적용

Tn general. Gaussian mixture model (GMM) is used to estimate the speaker model from the speech for speaker identification. The parameter estimates of the GMM are obtained by using the Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm for the maximum likelihood (ML) estimation. However the EM algorithm has such drawbacks that it depends heavily on the initialization and it needs the number of mixtures to be known. In this paper, to solve the above problems of the EM algorithm. we propose an EM algorithm with the initialization based on incremental ${\cal}k-means$ for GMM. The proposed method dynamically increases the number of mixtures one by one until finding the optimum number of mixtures. Whenever adding one mixture, we calculate the mutual relationship between it and one of other mixtures respectively. Finally. based on these mutual relationships. we can estimate the optimal number of mixtures which are statistically independent. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by the experiment for artificial data. Also. we performed the speaker identification by applying the proposed method comparing with other approaches. 개개인의 음성을 이용한 화자식별에서, 화자 모델을 추정하는데 가우시안 혼합모델이 주로 사용된다. 최대 우도 추정을 갖는 가우시안 혼합모델의 파라미터 추정은 Expectation-Maximisation (EM)을 사용하여 얻을 수 있다. 그러나, EM 알고리즘은 초기값에 상당히 민감하고, 혼합성분의 개수를 미리 알고 있어야 하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는, EM 알고리즘의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 가우시안 혼합모델을 위한 점진적 ${\cal}k-means$ 알고리즘에 의한 초기값을 갖는 EM 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 혼합성분의 개수를 점진적 ${\cal}k-means$ 방법을 이용하여 한번에 하나씩 혼합성분을 추정하여 최적의 혼합성분이 얻어 질 때까지 이를 반복 수행한다. 하나의 혼합성분이 추가될 때마다, 새로 얻어진 혼합성분과 이전에 구한 혼합성분들간의 상호 관계를 각각 측정한다. 이로부터, 통계적으로 독립인 최적의 혼합성분 개수를 추정할 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 확인하기 위하여 임의의 생성 데이터와 실제 음성을 사용하였다. 실험 결과에서, 제안된 방법이 기존의 방법보다 화자 식별 성능이 우수하였으며, 또한 성능을 유지하면서도 계산량 감소의 효과까지 볼 수 있었다.
