자연 언어를 데이타베이스 검색을 위한 사용자 인터페이스로 취하는 자연 언어 질의 시스템의 입력 문장 파싱 과정에서는 여러 유형의 중의적 구조들의 생성되고 중첩되며, 결국 전체 시스템의 효율이 크게 떨어진다. 본 논문은 자연 언어 질의 문장을 파싱할 때 검색 데이터베이스의 스키마 정보와 도메인 정보를 미리 참조하여 중의성을 해소하는 효율적인 방법을 제시한다. 발견되는 중의성의 요인이 되는 질의 동사들과 명사들 사이의 참조 타당성을 참조 긴밀도라는 값으로 나타내고, 검색 질의로서 타당한 구조만을 선택함으로써 전체 질의 시스템의 시간적-공간적 처리 효율을 높일 수 있다. In natural language query system, whose user interlace to access the database is natural language, parsing phase of input sentence includes many types of structural ambiguities, which can be nested and decrease the efficiency of the whole system. This paper introduces an efficient technique to resolve ambiguities using the schema and domain information of the database. When the ambiguous structures are detected, it computes the degree of the referencing closeness between the verbs or nouns related with the ambiguity, and selects a semantically correct structure. This technique can highly enhance the time and spatial efficiency of the natural language query systems.
