        위성 도킹 지상시험장치의 어드미턴스 제어

        The paper presents a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) system designed for satellite movement testing in the microgravity environment on the ground with two industrial robots. Especially, the paper deals with the contact between satellites during rendezvous and docking simulations of satellites using a robotic HILS system. For this purpose, the admittance control method plays a core role in preventing damage to the satellite or robot from contact force between satellites. The coordinate frames are transformed into the mass center of the satellite and the admittance control at the level of exponential coordinates is adopted to actively use the properties of Lie groups related to tracking errors. These methods effectively mitigate the risk of robot damage during inter-satellite contact and ensure efficient tracking performance of satellite movements.

        예비 초등교사의 영재 교수 효능감과 영재교육에 대한 태도에 관한 설문조사 연구

        This study explores South Korean pre-service primary teachers’ sense of efficacy and their attitudes towards gifted students, and the relationship between the two variables. Teachers’ self-efficacy and their attitudes towards gifted students are important because they impact teachers’ perception and performance, which in turn could impact on the motivation and academic performance of gifted students and their chance of being identified for gifted education programs. Although many studies have emphasized the positive effects of initial teacher training on pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy and attitudes towards students, none of the universities in South Korea that offer a bachelor’s degree in primary education provides a compulsory course in gifted education, and elective course offerings are limited. In total, 481 fourth-year South Korean primary education major students participated in the survey. As a result of the survey, significant correlations were found between the pre-service teachers’self-efficacy in teaching gifted students and their supportive attitudes towards gifted students and gifted education. There was a statistically significant difference in the levels of a teacher’s self-efficacy in teaching gifted students as well as supportive attitudes towards gifted education between those who teachers who had or had not taken a course in gifted education. 교수 효능감과 교사의 영재에 대한 태도는 교사의 영재에 대한 인식과 태도에 영향을 미치고, 차례로 영재의 학습동기와 학업성취 및 영재 프로그램에 선발될 가능성에 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 예비 초등교사들의 영재를 가르치는 효능감과 태도를 알아보고, 그들의 효능감과 태도의 상관관계가 있는지를 분석하며, 대학교 영재수업의 수강 여부가 이들의 효능감과 태도와 관련이 있는지를 살펴보았다. 총 481명의 예비 초등교사들이 설문조사에 참여하였으며, 설문지는 예비교사들의 영재를 가르치는 효능감과 영재교육에 대한 태도에 대한 문항들로 이루어 졌다. 설문 결과, 예비 초등교사들은 영재를 가르치는 데에 있어서 약간의 효능감을 보이는 것으로 드러났다. 영재교육에 대해서는 지지하는 경향을 보였으며 영재교육을 소수를 위한 엘리트주의로 보지 않았다. 또한 예비 초등 교사의 영재를 가르치는 데에 대한 효능감과 영재교육에 대한 지지적 태도가 통계적으로 유의한 정적 상관관계를보였다. 또한, 대학에서 영재 수업을 들은 학생들과 듣지 않은 학생들의 교수 효능감과 영재교육에 대한 지지도에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다.

        영재교육은 소수의 특권을 위한 엘리트주의인가? - 예비 초등교사, 영재교육 교수와의 인터뷰를 통한 질적 연구

        영재교육은 사회에서 종종 소수의 특권을 위한 엘리트주의로 오해받는다. 선행연구 결과 다수의 교사들이 영재교육을 엘리트주의로 보는 경향이 있었다. 영재교육에 대한 교사의 편견은 잠재적으로 영재의 학업 동기와 성취, 정서발달에 부정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 예비교사 때 갖는 학생과 교육에 대한 태도는 교사가 되어서까지 이어질 가능성이 있으며, 영재의 잠재력 개발을 위한 이른 판별이 중요하므로 본 연구에서는 예비 초등교사 13명, 예비 초등교사를 가르치는 교수·강사 7명과 엘리트주의로서의 영재교육이라는 주제로 인터뷰하였다. 인터뷰 결과 대다수의 예비교사들은 영재교육을 엘리트주의로 보지 않았으며, 영재교육은 학생 개별 능력에 맞는 맞춤형 교육이며 영재의 지적·정서적 발달을 위해 필요하다고 주장하였다. 한편 예비교사와 영재교육을 가르치는 교수·강사 모두 한국 사회에서 영재교육이 수단화되는 것에 대한 깊은 우려를 표했으며, 영재교육이 학생의 잠재력 개발과 자아실현 도모라는 본 기능을 수행하기를 기대했다.

        한국에서 초등 영재 학생의 학년 속진이 어려운 원인에 관한 문헌 연구

        Recently, public interest in academic acceleration for primary school-aged gifted students arose when B, who had entered a science high school for gifted students at the age of 10, suddenly announced his withdrawal, alleging school violence. Before B, Mr. S also had entered college at the age of 8 in 2006 through rapid grade skipping but dropped out after failing to adapt to the new study environment. Mr. K, who was known as a genius with an IQ of 210 in the 1960s, went to the U.S. to study at a university at the age of 8 and worked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), but returned to South Korea at the age of 16, complaining of extreme social isolation. This study analysed the difficulties that primary school-aged gifted students who experience rapid academic acceleration in South Korea would face and the possible reasons for the difficulties from the cases of the three figures. They felt severe social isolation after their rapid academic acceleration, received excessive attention and criticism from the public, and did not receive appropriate education that took into account their physical and emotional development. The reasons derived from their giftedness are the asynchronous development in gifted students with an uneven rate of cognitive, emotional, and physical ability development and the absence of their in-group where they could feel they belong. The reasons stemming from the South Korean culture and education are the Korean language and titles that change depending on the relationships of speakers, university entrance exam-oriented education, expectations for the trickle-down effect from the gifted, a lack of attention to the emotional development of gifted students, and the absence of guidelines for educating primary school aged gifted students who academically accelerate.

        영재란 누구인가? 여러 가지 영재성 정의와 교육적 함의

        The definitions of the gifted and giftedness have expanded from the narrow concept in the past to the current concept. Terman in the 1920s defined gifted students as 'those who are in the top 1% of the Stanford-Binet intelligence test'. Unlike Terman, Renzulli considered those who have above-average intelligence, high creativity, and task commitment to be gifted. Gagné’s differentiated model regards gifted as those who potentially are in the top 10%, not limiting them to the top 1%. Sternberg stressed that giftedness is influenced by environmental and social contexts and Gardner argued that giftedness consists of multiple intelligences. This change in the definitions of giftedness has included many more gifted students who were not included in the scope of gifted by the prior definitions, and educational opportunities have expanded accordingly. In this paper, various definitions of the gifted and giftedness are reviewed and the strengths and limitations of these definitions and their implications for gifted education have been suggested.

        한국 폐자원에너지 산업의 R&D 효과성 분석

        Based on a survey of Korean waste-to-energy (WTE) firms, this article analyzes the R&D effectiveness of the WTEindustry, which accounts for the largest proportion of new and renewable energy power generation in Korea, using multipleand logistic regression. A company’s R&D can be considered effective if its R&D inputs (e.g., R&D expenditure/sales,R&D manpower/employees, education/training, and reward systems) or R&D outputs (e.g., patent applications andapprovals, the introduction of new products and services, and the redesign of products and processes) contribute to anincrease in R&D outcomes (e.g., decrease in production costs, the creation of employment, and market entry). It wasfound that market entry is not affected by R&D inputs but is positively influenced by R&D outputs, indicating that KoreanWTE firms have focused on market entry via the technology transfer of new products and services and/or the redesignof products and processes. In the WTE industry, the creation of employment does not have a statistically significantrelationship with R&D expenditure/sales, R&D manpower/employees, or the redesign of products, but it does exhibit apositive relationship with education/training, reward systems, patent applications and approvals, and the introduction of newproducts and services. Finally, the decrease in production costs is not influenced by R&D expenditure/sales, R&Dmanpower/employees, reward systems, or patent applications and approvals, but is positively affected by education/training,the introduction of new products and services, and the redesign of products and processes. A policy implication of theseresults is that market entry show the virtual cycle on expanding R&D expenditure/sales and/or R&D manpower/employees.
