        울금 및 발효울금 추출물의 피부관련 생리활성 탐색

        This paper investigated the skin-related physiological activity of curcuma longa and fermented C. longa extract using hot water and ethanol to identify the possibility of development of cosmetic materials. The analysis results are described below. The contents of polyphenol and flavonoid were the highest in C. longa extract using ethanol, 44.57mg/g and 349.28 mg/g, respectively. DPPH scavenging ability was also the highest in curcuma longa extract using ethanol, 66.99% at the concentration of 200g/mL. Curcuma longa extract using ethanol showed relatively high activity than other extracts in tyrosinase inhibitory activity. Furthermore, the C. longa extract using ethanol had the highest antimicrobial activity although its antimicrobial activity was lower than that of gentamycin, the positive control group in the antibacterial activity test. In accordance with the analysis results, the C. longa extract showed higher activity than fermented C. longa extract. In particular, the C. longa extract using ethanol showed the highest activity in tyrosinase inhibitory activity and other tests. Accordingly, this paper confirmed that C. longa, a functional food, has the possibility to be used as a material for whitening cosmetics.

        비즈니스 생태계 구축을 통한 중소기업의 글로벌화: 유니버설 로봇(Universal Robots) 사례를 중심으로

        최근 디지털 플랫폼과 이를 기반으로 한 비즈니스 생태계의 출현은 글로벌 가치사슬에 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 이러한 현상과 함께 비즈니스 생태계의 구축이 글로벌 가치사슬과 중소기업의 국제화에 기여하는 부분에 대해서 더 많은 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 비즈니스 생태계를 구축하여 글로벌 기업으로 성장한 협동로봇 제조업체인 유니버설 로봇(UR: Universal Robots)의 사례를 분석하였다. UR은 협동로봇 분야를 창시한 스타트업 기업으로 제한된 자원을 보유했음에도 불구하고 단기간에 글로벌 기업으로 성장하였다. 따라서 비즈니스 생태계 구축 전략을 통한 글로벌화를 분석하기에 적합한 기업이다. 사례 분석결과 UR은 협동로봇 시스템을 모듈화된 아키텍처로 구성하고 이를 바탕으로 주변기기 개발자, SI(System integrator) 업체, 유통업체, 소비자를 연결시킴으로써 플랫폼 기반 비즈니스 생태계를 구축하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 UR의 마케팅 디렉터와의 공식적인 인터뷰를 통하여 1) UR+ 생태계 구축, 2) 교육 프로그램 제공, 3) SI 및 유통업체와의 협업의 세부 프로세스를 자세히 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이를 통해, 플랫폼 기반의 비즈니스 생태계를 구축하는 전반적인 과정을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 비즈니스 생태계가 가치사슬 내 행위자들의 관계를 재편하고 행위자들 간의 지리적 근접성의 중요성을 감소시킴으로써 중소기업의 글로벌화를 촉진할 수 있음을 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과는 기존의 글로벌 가치사슬에 대한 연구들을 비즈니스 생태계 관점으로 확장시켰다는 점에서 이론적으로 기여하는 한편, 글로벌 비즈니스 생태계 구축을 위한 UR의 전략을 분석하여 제시하였다는 점에서 실무자들에게도 의미있는 시사점을 준다.

        남·여 대학생의 피부유형과 피부관리 태도 비교

        This study comparison male and female college students about skin type, photo type, skin care attitude and knowledge, activity and related knowledge of UV according to gender, and provides basic materials to develop suitable cosmetics and skin care program for college students. For this, skin condition and skin care knowledge and attitude of 256 male and female college students living in Gwangju were examined, χ²-test and independent samples t-test were executed for data analysis, and the results are as follows. Recognized skin types of male students were combination, oily, dry, and neutral; those of female students were combination, dry, neutral and oily, indicating that the highest is combination skin in both male and female students, but it could be seen through this study that there was difference according to gender in skin type and recognized by male students and female students. Photo types of male students were showing both male and female high in typeⅡ and Ⅲ. For UV activity and UV-related knowledge, female students were significantly higher that male students. For skin care attitude, female students showed significantly higher attitude than male students, but in skin care knowledge, there was no difference between male and female. It could be seen through this study that there was difference according to gender in skin type whereas, there was no difference according to gender in photo type recognized and in skin care knowledge by male students and female students. For UV-related knowledge, UV activity and skin care attitude, female students were more positive in data collection and skin care act as they had higher interest about skin care than male students. 본 연구는 남․여 대학생을 대상으로 성별에 따른 피부유형, 광유형, 피부관리 태도와 지식, 자외선에 관한 지식 및 대처 행위에 관하여 조사하여 비교함으로써 대학생에게 적합한 화장품과 피부관리 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 광주지역에 거주하는 남․여 대학생 256명을 대상으로 하여 피부상태와 피부관리 지식 및 태도에 관하여 조사하였고, 자료 분석은 χ²-test, 독립 t-검정을 실시하였으며, 그 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 인지하는 피부유형은 남학생의 경우 복합성, 지성, 건성, 중성 순으로 나타났으며, 여학생은 복합성, 건성, 중성, 지성 순으로 조사되어 남․여학생의 피부유형은 유의한 차이를 보였다. 광유형에서는 남․여학생 모두 Ⅱ형과 Ⅲ형이 높게 나타났다. 자외선 대처행위와 자외선 관련 지식여부는 여학생이 남학생에 비해 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 피부관리 태도는 여학생이 남학생보다 유의하게 높은 태도를 보였으나, 피부관리 지식에서는 남․여 차이를 보이지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해 남학생들과 여학생들이 인지하는 피부유형은 성별에 따라 차이가 있었고, 광유형과 피부관리 지식은 성별에 따라 차이가 없었다. 자외선 관련 지식 및 관리 행위, 피부관리 태도는 여학생이 남학생보다 피부관리에 대한 관심이 높은 만큼 정보 수집과 피부관리 행위도 적극적인 것을 알 수 있었다

      • 사람 대장조직 DNA Topoisomerase I 에 관한 연구

        DNA topoisomerase I was prepared from normal mucosa and cancer tissue of human colon and the properties were compared. Specific activity of the enzyme from normal mucosa was 257.2 unit/mg protein/ min and that from cancer tissue was 403 unit/mg protein/min. Both enzymes showed a broad pH optimum from pH 5.8 to pH 7.4 and arc heat-labile, being completely inactivated by heat treatment at 55℃ for 5 minutes. The enzyme from normal mucosa was activated 0.2 M K^+ and 0.15 M Na^+ approximately 20 and 4 folds and that from cancer tissue was activated approximately 40 and 10 folds, respectively. Mg^2+ was the most potent activator, the enzyme from normal mucosa being 5, 20, and 60 folds activated at 2 mM, 10 mM, and 20 mM, respectively and the enzyme from cancer tissue being 2.5, 13, 26 folds activated, respectively. Both enzymes were inhibited by 2 mM ATP and 5 mM GTP in the presence of Mg^2+ and K^+ , respectively. ddATP and ddGTP were the potent inhibitors of these enzymes. The enzvate front nurmal mucosa was activated by spermine, spermidine, and histone H3 and that from cancer tissue was activated by histone H1. The enzyme from normal mucosa yeas completely inactivated by alkaline phosphatase treatment whereas the enzyme activity from cancer tissue was indifferent. The molecular weight of both enzymes were 150 KD. Camptothecin and 10-OH-camptothecin variably inhibited DNA relaxation according to tile enzyme preparation and there was no DNA fragmentation in the cleavage assay. From the above results, the possible role of phosphorylation for regulation of this enzyme and the application of camptothecin to colon cancer were discussed.

        Effects of Water Activity on Pigments in Dried Laver (Porphyra) during Storage

        Degradation of chlorophyll, carotenoids, andphycobilins in dried laver (Porphyra) was studied duringstorage at water activities (Aw) of 0.112, 0.316, 0.484,0.747, or 0.890 in the dark at 40oC for 15 days. Thechlorophyll, carotenoid, and phycobilin contents weredetermined using HPLC and spectrophotometry. Thechorophyll a, carotenoid, and phycobilin contents in driedlaver decreased with storage time in the dark, anddegradation was increased and accelerated as the Aw valueincreased. Among pigments, chlorophyll a was degraded atthe highest rate, and differences in degradation rates amongpigments became greater as the Aw value increased. Phycoerythrin was more stable than phycocyanin. Changesin the Aw value affected degradation of phycocyanin andchlorophyll more than phycoerythrin or carotenoids. Control of the Aw value can improve the color stability ofdried laver in the dark.

        Light Effects on Lipid Oxidation, Antioxidants, and Pigments in Dried Laver (Porphyra) during Storage

        Effects of light on lipid oxidation, antioxidants,and pigments in dried laver (Porphyra) were studiedduring storage at 40oC and at a water activity of 0.75 for 15days. Lipid oxidation was evaluated by measuring peroxidevalue (POV) and conjugated dienoic acid (CDA) contents,whereas fatty acid composition was analyzed by gaschromatography. Contents of polyphenols, tocopherols,porphyran, chlorophylls, carotenoids, and phycobilins werealso monitored. The POV and CDA contents of dried laverlipids increased during storage, whereas contents ofeicosapentaenoic acid, pigments, and antioxidants decreased. Light accelerated lipid oxidation as well as degradation ofantioxidants and pigments during storage of dried laver. Chlorophyll and polyphenols were the most rapidly degradedamong all pigments and antioxidants, respectively, andlight had the strongest effect on their degradation. Lipidoxidation of dried laver due to light was highly dependenton the content of α-tocopherol among all minor compounds.
