Opiates에 의한 PRL과 LH분비의 억제와 촉진에 관한 연구

내인성 opioid peptides가 뇌하수체전엽 hormone의 생산 및 분비에 깊이 관여한다는 견해에 따라 morphine과 opioids의 특수수용체 길항제인 naloxone을 따로, 혹은 동시에 혼합주사하여, 이들 물질에 의한 혈중 prolactin치와 LH치의 변동상황을 조사하여 다음과 같이 결과를 얻었다. 1. 백서(흰쥐)는 오후 prolactin-surge를 보여 오후 4:00에 최고치에 달한다(196.4 ± 12.3ng/ml). 2. Naloxone을 주사한 즉 오후 prolactin-surge가 완전히 억제되었다. 3. Morphine은 오후 prolactin-surge를 크게 촉진하여 16:00에 최고치인 236.3 ± 11.5 ng/ml에 달하였다. 4. Naloxone과 morphine을 동시에 투여하면 naloxone의 오후 prolactin-surge의 억제능력이 MOR에 의하여 완전히 봉쇄되어 대조군과 같은 prolactin-surge를 일으켰다. 5. LH-surge는 prolactin과 같이 오후 surge를 보여 최고치 184.4 ± 8.1ng/ml에 달하였다. 6. Naloxone은 오후 LH-surge를 크게 촉진하여 16:00에 282.9 ± 11.4 ng/ml에 달하였다. 7. Morphine은 오후 LH-surge를 완전히 봉쇄하였다. 8. Naloxone과 morphine을 동시에 투여하면 MOR이 NAL에게 억제되어 최고치(232.2 ± 16.5ng/ml)에 달하는 LH-surge를 보였다. The influences of opiates and their specific receptor antagonists on the secretion of the anterior pituitary hormones, prolactin and LH, were studied in the adult male rats. Rats demonstrated the afternoon prolactin and LH surges everyday as well as the other animals which reached the peak levels at 16:00 oclock. The surge of prolactin was completely inhibited by administration of naloxone , but was stimulated significantly by administration of morphine and increased from 40.3 ± 2.3 ng/ml to 236.3 ± 11.5 ng/ml. In the simultaneous administration of naloxone and morphine, the suppressive action of prolactin secretion of naloxone was completely blocked by morphine and prolactin release was significantly increased, reaching 198.0 ± 17.6 ng/ml at 16:00 oclock. In contrast to prolactin surge LH-surge was completely suppressed by administration of morphines and stimulated by administration of naloxone, reaching 282.9 ± 11.4 ng/ml at 16:00 oclock. When naloxone and morphine were simultaneously administered, the suppression of LH surge by morphine was completely inhibited by naloxone, and showed the significant afternoon Lh surge, reaching 232.2 ± 16.5 ng/ml at 16:00 oclock. It is concluded that endogenous opiates and their specific opiate receptor antagonists play an important role in the secretion of the anterior pituitary hormones, especially prolactin and LH.
Tioconazole 膣軟膏의 一回投藥에 依한 Trichomonas 膣炎의 治療효과

A total of 30 patients, with vaginal trichamoniasis which was confirmed by culture, took part in an open study to assess the efficacy and safety after a single intravaginal application of 6.5% Tioconazole(4.6gm), a new antifungal agent. At the first review(7 days following application) 20 patients(65.7%)had negative cultures for Trichomonas vaginalis, and at the second review(30 days after treatment) 21 patients (72.4%)had negative cultures without any relapses. The clinical symptoms and signs of vaginal trichomoniasis winch had been observed at the time of drug application were either absent or mild at 7 days and 30 days follow up. The reported side effect was mild burning sensation in only 2 patients which subsided spontaneously soon after. In the evaluation by the patients and the physicians the overall clinical effect was considered satifsactory in 23 patients(79.3%). The results suggest that Tioconazole vaginal ointment is effective and safe a single application to treat vaginal trichomoniasis.

ACTH levels in umbilical arterial and venous plasma were measured in the newborn infants delivered both transvaginally and by cesarean section. ACTH level was considerably higher in umbilical arterial than venous plasma at vaginal delivery(P < 0.01). In the newborn infants born by cesarean section, increase in umbilical arterial plasma ACTH level was observed, but not in umbilical venous plasma ACTH level. Possible mechanism for fetal secretion of ACTH at delivery was discussed.
분만에 따른 혈장 Estrogen치의 변동에 관한 연구

Levels of estrone and estradiol were studied in maternal peripheral, and umbilical arterial and venous plasma. In the umbilical circulation, the mean levels of both estrone and estradiol were higher in the vein than in the artery, but the venoarterial difference was highly significant only for estrone (P < 0. 001) The estrone level in the umbilical venous plasma was significantly higher (P<0.01) after labor than before its onset, In the maternal circulation there was no appreciable change in the level of estrone or estradiol in relation to labor. It is concluded that the increase in the umbilical vein estrone may depend upon a change in the placental metabolism of estrogens related to labor, and reflects more comlex endocrine changes concerned in the control of parturition.
방선균 분리주 No. 1166이 생산하는 살충성 물질 구조 동정

국내 토양으로부터 토양 방선균을 분리하여 1, 2차 살충활성 검정으로 살충성 물질 생산 균주들을 선발하고, 이들이 생산하는 살충성 물질들을 분리하는 연구를 수행하여 왔다. 선발된 균주중 no. 1166 분리주가 생산하는 살충성 물질들을 분리 정제한 후, 각 물질들의 살충 및 항균활성을 조사하고 구조동정을 시도한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 살충 활성은, 본 실험조건에서 집누에 나방(Bombyx mori) 3령 유충에 분리된 물질들을 각량별로 처리한 결과, compound I과 coumpound II은 12.5 ㎍ 수준에서 100% 살충효과를 나타냈으며, compound III는 50 ㎍ 수준에서 100% 살충효과가 나타났다. 2. 항균 활성은, 6가지 피검균에 paper disc 방법으로 각각 20 ㎍을 처리한 결과 compound I과 II는 피검균 모두에 항균 활성이 나타나지 않았으며, compound III는 Bacillus subtlis 1021에 항균 활성이 나타났다. 3. 분리된 물질들을 UV spectrum과 ^1H-NMR, ^13C-NMR spectrum으로 구조동정을 시도한 결과, compound I은 bafilomycin A_2로, compound III는 bafilomycin B_1으로 동정되었다. Compound II는 이화학적인 특성과 생리활성이 동정된 두 화합물과 동일하게 나타난 결과로 보아 역시 bafilomycin 계열 물질로 추정되었다. In the course of screening for insecticidal metabolites from soil microorganisms, Actinomycetes isolate no.1166 was found to produce active metabolites against Musca domestca dn Bombyxmori. Three active components from the metabolites were isolated by solvent extraction and chromatographic techniques and examined their insecticidal activities on Bombyx mori (3rd larvae) by diet feeding bioassay methods. By UV and NMR data analyses, compound I and III were identified as bafilomycin A_2 and B_1, respectively and compound II was also estimated to belong to the bafilomycin family from its physico-chemical data and biological properties.
