본 연구는 한국어 신문 기사 제목의 어휘 사용 양상을 외래어를 중심으로 살펴보고 이를 형태적 측면과 의미적 측면에서 분석하여 신문 기사 제목에 출현한 외래어의 언어학적 특징을 고찰하고자 하였다. 본고에서 분석 대상으로 삼은 것은 신문 기사 중 스포츠면 신문 기사 제목에 사용된 서양어계 외래어로 본고에서는 최근 나타나고 있는 외래어의 사용 실태를 분석하기 위해 2023년 1월 1일부터 2023년 9월 30일까지의 신문 기사를 연구 자료로 삼았다. 한국언론진흥재단에서 제공하는 뉴스 빅 데이터 분석 시스템 ‘빅카인즈’에서 ‘K리그’를 핵심 검색어로 하여 총 2,049개의 신문 기사 제목을 1차 추출한 뒤 신문 기사 제목을 확인하며 외래어 목록을 추출한 결과, 중복값을 제외하고 총 125개의 외래어 목록을 작성하였다. 분석 결과 신문 스포츠면 기사 제목에 출현한 외래어는 ‘그라운드’, ‘라이벌’ 등과 같은 단일어 유형, ‘극장골’, ‘플레잉코치’ 등과 같은 복합어(합성) 유형, ‘맞트레이드’, ‘코치진’ 등과 같은 복합어(파생), ‘프로’와 같은 절단형 유형, ‘찐팬’과 같은 두 가지 이상의 조어기제로 나타나는 유형의 형태적 특징을 보이는 것을 알 수 있었다. 의미적 특성에서는 ‘골가뭄’, ‘소나기골’과 같이 날씨 어휘와 결합하여 나타나는 비유적 표현이 많았으며 <표준국어대사전>에 등재된 뜻풀이이외의 쓰임으로 사용되고 있는 외래어도 있는 것으로 조사되었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the morphological and semantic characteristics of loanwords of Korean newspaper headliness. In order to analyze the recent use of loanwords, newspaper headlines in sports sections from January 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023, were analyzed. A total of 2,049 newspaper article titles were initially extracted using “K-League” as a key search term in Big Kinds, a big data analysis system for news provided by the Korea Press Foundation, and then the titles of the newspaper articles were checked and a list of loanwords was compiled. As a result, a total of 125 loanwords appeared. Several signifi cant features of loanwords are discovered in this study. Loanwords that appear in the newspaper headlines are single words and complex words. Complex words are created by derivation, compounding, and clipping. Loanwords are combined with other loanwords, native words, and Chinese characters to form compound words, and foreign words are used as morphemes to expand the vocabulary and create new loanwords.

The aim of this study is to investigate the variation aspects of connective ending accuracy by analyzing connective ending errors in writing materials made by Korean learners. This study thus first clarifies the definition of error, and then while focusing on connective ending errors for analysis, it classifies these errors by type and calculates error rates. The analysis materials are categorized into Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Western by the language area of learners and also by level of Korean proficiency. Using the interlanguage-based approach, this study illustrates the types and rates of learners’ connective ending errors from a perspective not attempted in previous research. In this paper, connective ending error rates are measured using two criteria: ‘UC’ (Used Connective ending) for grammaticality and ‘TC’ (Target Connective ending) for meaningfulness.
