The concept known as Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) is to provide power to help balance loads by charging at night when demand is low and sending power to the grid when demand is high. Therefore, it is important to model the cost-benefit characteristics of Electric vehicle(EV)'s operation considering the negawatt market in real time. This paper proposes a methodology to formulate the various costs and economic benefits for sending the EV's power back to the grid, including a concept of inconvenience costs caused by operating the EV as a battery. This paper also introduces the general decision-making process based on the cost-benefit analysis in order to simulate the reasonable participation of V2G service. In the case study, it is confirmed by two-case simulations that the proposed approach is useful to help EV owners' decision-making. In the future, it is expected that the proposed methodology can be used as a decision-making guideline to help prepare the EV' power transmission.
급성 일산화탄소 중독 환자에서 응급실 내원 초기 동맥혈 이산화탄소 분압의 임상적 의미

Purpose: The objective was to determine the association between PaCO2 and adverse cardiovascular events (ACVEs) in carbon monoxide (CO)-poisoned patients. Methods: This retrospective study included 194 self-breathing patients after CO poisoning with an indication for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and available arterial blood gas analysis at presentation and 6 hours later. The baseline characteristics and clinical course during hospitalization were collected and compared. The mean PaCO2 during the first 6 hours after presentation was calculated. Results: The incidence rates of moderate (30 mmHg< PaCO2 <35 mmHg) or severe (PaCO2 ≤30 mmHg) hypocapnia at presentation after acute CO poisoning were 40.7% and 26.8%, respectively. The mean PaCO2 during the first 6 hours was 33 (31-36.7) mmHg. The incidence of ACVEs during hospitalization was 50.5%. A significant linear trend in the incidence of ACVEs was observed across the total ranges of PaCO2 variables. In multivariate regression analysis, mean PaCO2 was independently associated with ACVEs (OR 0.798 (95% CI 0.641-0.997)). Conclusion: Mean PaCO2 during the first 6 hours was associated with increased ACVEs. Given the high incidence of ACVEs and PaCO2 derangement and the observed association between PaCO2 and ACVEs, this study suggests that 1) PaCO2 should be monitored at the acute stage to predict and/or prevent ACVEs; and 2) further study is needed to validate this result and investigate early manipulation of PaCO2 as treatment.

본 연구에서는 한외여과막과 역삼투압막으로 이루어진 해수담수화장치를 구성하였다. 해수를 취수하여 디스크필터와 한외여과막을 이용한 전처리설비를 통과시켜 생산한 전처리수의 $SDI_{15}$와 탁도를 측정하여 역삼투압해수담수설비에 적합함을 밝혔다. 역삼투압해수담수설비의 부산물인 브라인을 전처리수와 혼합하여 역삼투압해수담수설비의 입구농도를 변화시켰다. 농도 변화실험에서, 해수농도가 역삼투압해수담수설비의 성능에 끼치는 영향을 실험으로 구하였다. 염배제율, 회수율, 생산수의 수질은 입구농도에 따라 많은 변화가 있었으며, 에너지소비량도 입구농도에 거의 선형적으로 상승하는 것을 실험으로 구하였다. In the present study, sea water reverse osmosis desalination system was composed with an ultra-filtration membrane as a pre-treatment. Sea water was induced into the pre-treatment composed with an auto-screen filter and an ultra-filtration membrane. It was proved that the permeate of the pre-treatment was adequate for reverse osmosis desalination system by measuring the $SDI_{15}$ and the turbidity. Feed salinities was changed by mixing the brine and the permeate. Inlet salinities effected the performances of sea water reverse osmosis desalination system in a large amount such as the salt rejection, the recovery ratio, the pressure, the product salinity. Energy consumptions per the ton of the product were almost linearly increased with the inlet salinities.

본 연구는 국내 잔디생산 현황에 대한 설문조사 결과로 재배면적, 재배초종, 경영농가 현황, 잔디유통 현황 등을 조사하였다. 설문 조사 기간은 2006년 4월부터 10월까지이며, 각 시도별로 잔디재배를 많이 하고 있는 곳을 방문하여 15개 항목을 설문조사 하였다. 재배면적은 설문조사와 지역 재배농민의 추정치, 그리고 방문에서 제외된 지역은 2005년 산림청 조사 자료를 종합하여 결정하였다. 기타 조사 항목은 항목별 응답 인원에 대한 백분율로 나타내었다. 조사결과 국내 총 잔디 재배면적은 2,947㏊로 나타났다. 지역별로는 전남 1,417㏊(48%), 전북 442㏊(14.9%), 경기 344㏊(11.6%), 경남 248㏊(8.4%), 충남 240㏊(8.1%) 순으로 나타났다. 잔디 주 생산 단지는 장성군, 함평군, 영광군, 고창군, 사천시, 익산시, 여주시, 연천군 등으로 조사되었다. 경영주 나이는 51세 이상이 72.4%로 노령화 되어 있었으며, 재배경력은 10년 이상이 84.4%로 나타났다 전문경영의 형태를 보였다. 잔디재배 초종은 중지계통의 들잔디가 55.5%, 일반 들잔디가 37.4%로 높은 비율을 차지했으며, 켄터키블루그래스가 3.8%, 한국잔디 신품종이 0.1% 등으로 조사되었다. 한국잔디의 출하 규격은 다양했으며 18×18cm 규격으로 출하하는 경우가 43.5%로 가장 많았다. 출하 형태는 위탁판매가 40.5%로 높게 나타났으며, 전남지역의 생산단가는 2,160~2,730원/㎡ 이었다. This study was carried out to provide data on current sod production in South Korea. Fifteen items were surveyed including production acreage, species and cultivars, experience on farming, production cost and the others during April to October in 2006. To estimate production acreage, 73 turfgrass growers were interviewed. Estimated acreage for turfgrass production was 2,947 ㏊. Acreages by province were 1,417 ㏊ in Jeollanam-do(48%), 442 ha in Jeollabuk-do(14.9%), 344 ha in Gyeonggi-do(11.6%), 248 ㏊ in Gyeongsangnam-do(8.4%), and 240 ㏊ in Chungcheongnam-do(8.1%), respectively. The major sod producing regions were Jangseong-gun, Hampyeong-gun, Yeonggwang-gun, Gochang-gun, Sacheon city, Iksan city, Yeoju city, Yeoncheon-gun. Percentage of turf growers over 50 years old was 72.4 percent, which means production was carried out mainly by old farmers. Grower's career over 10 years was 84.8%. Cultivated species and varieties were 'Junggi'(55.5%) of fine-textured Korean lawngrass, common Korean lawngrass(37.4%), Kentucky bluegrass(3.8%), and new zoysiagrass cultivars(0.1%), respectively. Sod size were variable. Sod size of 18x18cm was 43.5 percent. Sales route was mainly through sod distributor(40.5%). Sod producing cost was 2,160 ~ 2,730 won per square meter at Jeolla-do areas.
