범용 CNC 선반에서의 DNC 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

The study is concerned with the development of the microcomputer based DNC(Direct Numerical Control) system for a conventional CNC lathe. The DNC system consists of software modules such as part data input, NC programming, NC simulation, NC code conversion, NC code transmission, and a hardware of BTR(Behind Tape Reader) interface for communication between microcomputer and NC controller. The part and raw material data are inputted in the form of machining element and NC program is generated automatically from the machining element database. NC program is checked by displaying cutter paths. NC code is converted from ASCII code to either EIA or ISO code and then transmitted to NC controller through BTR interface by microcomputer. Evaluation test has shown that the developed system is useful the DNC of conventional CNC lathes.
최적 금형연마 가공을 위한 센서 정보 통합 전문가 시스템 개발

This paper presents a polishing expert system integrated with sensor information which can modify the polishing sequence and conditions initially determined by the system depending on the on-site polishing status. A practical system using AE sensor to detect the on-line polishing status is developed for the rotational polishing and the smoothly curved sur-face. Database and knowledge base for polishing processes are established by using the results of experiments and also expert's experience. Evaluations are performed for a die of headlight lamp by using both the sensor integrated expert sys-tem and the expert system without sensor. The test results show that the sensor integrated expert system provides more optimal polishing conditions since the proposed system takes advantage of the on-line sensor information.
NC 정보와 이송축 모터 전류를 이용한 선삭 가공 상태 감시

In this research a monitoring system for turning using NC information and the current of feed motor as a monitoring signal was developed. The overall system consists of modules such as learning process, NC data transmission, generation of forecast information, signal acquisition, monitoring and post process. In the learning process, the reference data and the cutting force equation necessary for monitoring are obtained from the accumulated monitoring results. In the generation of forecast information, the information of forecasted cutting forces is acquired from the cutting force equation and NC program and appended to each NC block as a monitor code. Reliability of monitoring is improved by using the monitor code in the real-time monitoring. Monitoring module is divided into two parts : the off-line monitoring where errors of NC program are checked and the on-line monitoring where the level of motor current is monitored during cutting operations. If the actual current level exceeds the limit value provided by the monitor code in the level monitoring, it is recognized as abnormal. In the event of abnormal status, the post processor sends the emergency stop signal to NC controller to stop the operation. Actual experiments have shown that the developed monitoring system works well. 본 연구에서는 이송축 직류 서보 모터의 전류신호와 NC정보를 이용해서 선삭 가공상태를 감시하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 모터 전류는 가공 부하의 상태를 잘 나 타내며, NC 장치에 내장되어 있기 때문에 신호 검출을 위한 별도의 센서가 필요 없어 서 공구가 수시로 바뀌는 NC작업 감시를 위한 유효한 신호이다. 또 NC 정보로부터 작업을 예측함으로써 감시 대상을 명확히 하고 신뢰성을 높이고자 하였다. 전체적인 감시 시스템의 프로그래밍 언어로는 C를 사용하여, 실시간 감시처리를 가능하게 하였 다.
