Today, manpower is used as a major factor in the production of service industry that is on the increasing trend. So the research on manpower structure have been regarded as a important field. The research on personnel scheduling, however, have got de-emphasizeed as compared wi th the field of manufacturing scheduling. As the increasing trend of service industry, an appropriate personnel scheduling for each type of service industry is needed urgently. This paper deals with nurse scheduling problem in the field of personnel scheduling. We aim at developing prototype of the expert nurse scheduling program which is easy to use when scheduling without help of expert, and satisfies the various request of hospital scheduling policy and nurse scheduling.

O&R사(Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.)는 뉴욕주의 Pearl River에 위치한 발전설비용량 1010MW의 전력회사로서 뉴욕주동남부와 뉴저지주북부 그리고 펜실바니아주 동북부의 약1,350평방마일의 지역에 전기와 천연가스(Natural Gas)를 공급하는 회사이다. 1980년 최대전력수요는 여름철이 736MW, 겨울철이 570MW이었고, 연간판매전력량은 3655백만kwh였다. 에너지관리시스템(EMS)으로는 SEL 32/75 컴퓨터를 사용한 웨스팅하우스사의 Dual Image 32 System이 설치되어 있는데 이 시스템의 특징과 설비구성에 관해 소개하고자 한다.

X대역(帶域) μ-파에 의한 Nickel-Ferrite 의 강자성(强磁性) 공명흡수(共鳴吸收)

As the first sample, nickel ferrite film was prepared by arc-plasma torch consisted of jetting flame containing 90 oxygen or more. And as the second sample, single crystal of nickel ferrite was grown from Bridgeman method under oxygen pressure of 5 atm. and flux method in air. These ferrites were submitted to the measurement of the density, saturation magnetization, magnetic resonance line width (ΔH) at X-band and crystal orientation as well as the observation of the microstructure.

This research has been performed for the fabrication of high quality ferrite plastic magnet. The magnetic properties of S $r_{5.9}$F $e_2$ $O_3$ ferrite bonded magnets by injection moulding with a variety of applied magnetic field were investigated. 0.3wt% CaCO3, 0.2wt% $SiO_2$, 0.5wt% $Al_2$ $O_3$and 0.5wt% N $a_2$ $SiO_3$are added in order to improve the magnetic properties of Sr-ferrite plastic magnets during the powder fabrication. For carbon coating on chemical compound specimen, 5wt% polyvinyl alcohol is added, and then calcinated under $N_2$ environment of 12$25^{\circ}C$. The particle size is distributed from 0.9~1.2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ which approximates to the single domain. The obtained Sr ferrite powder is well mixed with silane coupling and calcium stearate of 1wt%. Nest, the specimen is pelleted after kneading each of them with polyamidel2 as a binder. When the temperature of injection and mould were 25$0^{\circ}C$ and 8$0^{\circ}C$ respectively at injection pressure of 200kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, the degree of orientation was 85.3% under the applied magnetic field of 12kOe. As the results, when the packing density of Sr ferrite powder was 90wt%, the magnetic properties of Sr ferrite bonded magnet were follows : $_{B}$ $H_{c}$=2.41kOe, Br=3.1kG, (BH)$_{max}$=2.21MgOe. Especially, the Sr-ferrite bonded magnet with 10wt% N $d_2$F $e_{14}$B additive were as follows : $_{B}$ $H_{c}$=2.57kOe, Br=3.14kG and (BH)$_{max}$=2.39MGOe.GOe.GOe.GOe.e.
