We report growth of vertically well-aligned zinc oxide (ZnO) nanorods on indium-tin oxide (ITO)/glass substrates using a simple aqueous solution method at low temperature via control of the ZnO seed layer morphology. ZnO nanoparticles acting as seeds are pre-coated on ITO-coated glass substrates. by spin coating to control distribution and density of the ZnO seed nanoparticles. ZnO nanorods were synthesized on the seed-coated substrates in a dipping process into a main growth solution. It was found that the alignment of ZnO nanorods can be effectively manipulated by the spin-coating speed of the seed layer. A grazing incidence X-ray diffraction pattern shows that the ZnO seed layer prepared using the higher spin-coating speed is of uniform seed distribution and a flat surface, resulting in the vertical growth of ZnO nanorods aligned toward the [0001] direction in the main growth process.

Wurtzite nanomaterials, such as ZnO, GaN, and InN, have become a subject of great scientific and technological interest as they simultaneously have piezoelectric and semiconductor properties. In particular, the piezoelectric potential (piezopotential) created by dynamic straining in the nanowires drives a transient flow of current in the external load, converting mechanical energy into electricity. Further, the piezopotential can be used to control the carrier generation, transport, separation, and/or recombination at the metal-semiconductor junction or p-n junction, which is called the piezophototronic effect. This paper reviews the recent advances on the piezophototronic effect to better use the piezophototronic effect to control the carrier generation, transport, separation and/or recombination for improving the performance of optoelectronic devices, such as photon detectors, solar cells and LEDs. This paper also discusses several research and design studies that have improved the output performance of optoelectronic devices.

우리가 영위하는 일상생활의 모든 행위는 기후와 연관을 맺고 있다. 자연과학 분야의 날씨 연구가 기상학을 만들어냈다는 사실이 방증하듯, 기상적 자아는 현대인의 모습으로 날씨와 인간이 분리될 수 없다. 영화에서 흔히 재현되는 날씨의 요소들인 비, 햇빛, 바람, 눈, 안개 등은 우리의 감각과 심리적인 내면 그리고 감수성을 자극한다. 본 연구는 우리가 숨을 쉬고 있지만 느끼지 못했던 투명한 대기에 조영제를 투여하듯, 영화에서 재현된 날씨와 자본 사이의 보이지 않는 이데올로기의 관계를 살핀다. 영화 속 날씨는 현실처럼 우연적인 것으로 나타나지만 그 현상은 실상 자연을 모방한 인공적인 날씨의 재현으로, 이와 같은 전략에는 분위기나 아우라를 주조하여 만들어 낸 상품이라는 자본의 논리가 깃들어있다. 따라서 본 논문은 외부의 우연적인 날씨와 관계없이 기후를 지속적으로 양식화하여 생산할 수 있는 스튜디오 시스템의 역사와 이른바 ‘분위기의 미학’을 함께 살펴보고자 한다. 오늘날 잦게 회자되는 생태적 관점에서 볼 때 영화 속 날씨는 심리적인 배경이나 풍경에만 머무르지 않는다. 도리어 기후 그 자체가 주제로서 혹은 스펙타클적인 요소로서 전면에 등장한다. 디지털 그래픽으로 재현된 기후재난 영화는 공포를 과장함으로써 대중으로 하여금 오히려 환경의 공포에 관한 면역력을 키우는 부정적 효과를 불러일으키면서도, 동시에 삶과 환경에 대한 인류의 성찰을 가능케 하는 긍정적 역할도 한다. 기후재난 영화가 전략적으로 과장하는 기후의 재현에는 하나의 단면으로만 읽어낼 수 없는 변증법적 의미가 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 오늘날 예술 담론에서 여전히 뜨거운 화두인 기후 변화와 인류세 담론에 초점을 마춘다. 이는 영화 매체의 새로운 가능성, 즉 대중을 향한 계몽적이고 생태학적인 접근이 될 것이다. Every act of our daily lives has something to do with climate. As weather research in the field of natural science creates meteorology, the meteorological ego proves that weather and humans are indivisible in the form of modern people. Such as rain, sunlight, wind, snow, and fog are the elements of the weather reproduced in the film which stimulate senses, psychological inner and sensitivity. This study examines the relationship between the weather reproduced in movies and the invisible ideology of capital which administers contrast to a transparent atmosphere that we don’t feel when people breath. The weather in the film appears accidentally like real life however, this phenomenon is a reproduction of artificial weather that mimics nature. The strategy contains capital logic that it is a product created by casting atmosphere or aura. Therefore, this paper seeks to explore the history of studio systems and The aesthetics of the atmosphere that can be continuously stylized and produced regardless of the accidental weather in reality. Nowadays, from an ecological perspective the weather in the movie does not stay in a psychological background or landscape but comes to the fore as a spectacular factor as the climate itself emerges as a theme. The digital graphic climate disaster film has a negative effect of exaggerating fear and this makes the public being fear free but it also plays a positive role making mankind reflects on life and the environments. This is because there is a dialectical meaning to the reproduction of climate, which is strategically exaggerated by climate disaster films, that cannot be read in just one side. This study focuses on climate change and Anthropocene which are still keen interest in art discourse today. This will be an enlightening and ecological approach to the public in a new possibility for the film media.

Growth of well-aligned ZnO nanostructures on various substrates such as GaN, ITO/glass, and sapphire was realized via a simple aqueous solution method at low temperature of $90^{\circ}C$. Morphology of ZnO nanostructures grown on various substrates as function of substrate was studied. It was found that ZnO nanostructures is a strong function of substrate. It was clearly observed that the morphology of ZnO nanostructures could be varied by change of substrate. Morphology, crystallinity, and crystal characteristics were carried out by FE-SEM, synchrotron x-ray scattering measurements, and high-resolution electron microscopy, respectively.

We design a new actuator of 3-axis motion for high performance optical devices. The actuator makes it possible to control the tilting motion by using moving magnet and PCB-coil, which have benefits in price and manufacturing. To predict the characteristics of the actuator, especially the effect of moving magnet, finite element method and electro-magnetic analysis were used. By comparing simulation data with experimental results, we verified the accuracy of the simulation and the superiority of the present.

Dermatoglyphic patterns are noted on the volar aspect of the skin of all primates including man & apes. Concomitant with recent development in human cytogenetics, there has been a growing awareness of the clinical significance of dermatoglyphics in the study of a wide variety of prenatally disorders. Most dermatoglyphic abrrations are associated with chromosomal defects and a wide array of diseases operating in the earlier stages of embryogensis. Author studied on the dermatoglyphic patterns in 964 healthy normal and 130 mentally retarded children in order to demontrate and apply any differences for clinical aspects. The results were as follows : 1. On Fingers: In normal children, the whorl pattern was most common & the next ulnar loop on both thumb, index, & ring fingers and ulnar loop was most common & the next whorl pattern on both middle & little fingers. In mentally retarded children, ulnar loop was most common & whorl pattern on all fingers except both index & right ring finger. As a whole, in mentally retarded children, ulnar loop pattern was more frequently seen than in normal children. 2. On Palms : 1) Hypothenar, Thenar and Interdigital Area : There were no significant differences between normal and mentally retarded children (P<0.005). 2) Simian Crease : A significant statistical difference was shown between normal and mentally retarded children(P<0.005). 3) Distal Axial Triradii : A significant statistical difference was shown between normal and mentally retarded children(P<0.005). 3. Clinodactyly : A significant statistical difference of frequency was shown between normal and mentally retarded children(P<0.005).
