일대잡종 분화용 아시아틱나리 'Yelllow LiASong' 육성

There is a need to breed and distribute of domestic varieties for Lilium Asiatic hybrids because most of the lily bulbs cultivated in Korea bred from foreign country. The collected Lilium Asiatic hybrids 'Butter Pixie' for a maternal line, 'Mona' for a paternal line based on the genetic resources from 2000 had been crossed self-fertilization from 2000 to 2006. In 2008, We developed Lilium Asiatic 'Yellow LiASong' as a F<sub>1</sub> hybrid which was crossed 'L<sub>2</sub>-18-1' and 'L<sub>2</sub>-21-4' those obtained by 4th self-fertilization. The flower of 'Yellow LiASong' is a bowl shaped single flower with no spots that 5.8 flowers per plant, which is a relatively many number compared other cultivars, and 15.5cm flower diameter with a medium size. And the flower inflorescence has umbellate and racemose while the attitude of longitudinal axis is erect. The plant height is 36.2cm with 35.5 leaves per plant and 10.7cm of the leaf length. Thus, The 'Yellow LiASong' showed a high consumer preference. Which has a longer flowering period due to having a relatively larger diameter and number of flowers than that of 'Tiny Bee', which is a comparable variety.
광질, 온도 및 복토 깊이가 꼬리풀 (Veronica L.) 종자의 발아에 미치는 영향

This study was conducted to develop a mass production for a commercial use by germination of 4 kinds of Veronica glabrifolia Kitag., V. pusanensis Y.N.Lee, V. glabrifolia Kitag. × V. Spicata 'Alba' and V. spicata 'Ulster Blue Dwarf × V. longifolia. Veronica L. Effects of dipping time to a disinfecting fluid, light quality, temperature or vermiculite depth on the germination of Veronica L. were examined. Germination percentage in a disinfecting fluid for 120 minutes dipping was the 75.1% for V. pusanensis Y.N.Lee, and was some higher in 60 minutes dipping for all the species, but there was no significant difference according to the dipping time. The germination of the light quality was the best in complex light (red light + blue light) as the germination 92.8%, uniformity 2.3 in Veronica glabrifolia Kitag., or the germination 85.9%, uniformity 3.5 in V. pusanensis Y.N.Lee. And the germination percentage of red light was ranged from 79.1% to 95,5%, the blue light was 83.1% to 100% in the all species. However the germination in the dark condition significantly lowered as a 40.0% to 56.3% or uniformity from 5.2 to 6.5. Like this, the germination of blue light was better compare to the red light. The germination rate according to temperature was higher at 25℃ day/20℃ night ranged from 92.1% to 100%, or at 20℃ day/15℃ night as a 85.5% to 98.9% in the all species, compare to constant temperature 25℃ as a 80.9% in V. pusanensis Y.N.Lee. The germination rate of vermiculite depth was higher in 1 to 2mm ranged from 83.4% to 100%, however when the vermiculite was covered with 4mm, the germination rate significantly decreased from 45.2% to 72.1% and the hypocotyl length became longer above 3cm than that of others.

This study was conducted to develop a mass production for a commercial use by cutting of 4 kinds of V. glabrifolia Kitag., V. pusanensis Y.N.Lee, V. glabrifolia Kitag. × V. Spicata 'Alba' and V. spicata 'Ulster Blue Dwarf' × V. longifolia. Veronica L. Effects of shade, media and concentrations of plant growth regulators on the rooting of Veronica L. were examined. The rooting rate of V. glabrifolia Kitag. was higher as a 60% than the V. pusanensis Y.N.Lee as a 20% in the control of commercial media. In shading treatment, the rooting rate was highest at 30% or 60% shading, and the 30% shading was the best in number of root and root length, but the 90% shading was lower than no shading treatment. For cutting media, the rock wool and 100% perlite increased the rooting rate by more than 10% compared to commercial media, and increased the number of roots by 2 or 3 times. However the Cocopeat of media was lower of rooting rate, root number, and root length compared to another treatment. In the plant growth regulator treatment, the rate of rooting increased in all treatment compared to control, and was highest at IBA 1,000mg·L<sup>-1</sup> as a 82.2% and NAA 200 or 400mg·L<sup>-1</sup> as a 82.2% or 84.4% respectively, in the V. glabrifolia Kitag. × V. Spicata 'Alba'. However, the root number and root length was decreased as the concentration of growth regulators increased.

프리뮬라의 꽃의 색, 크기, 형태 및 잎의 모양과 색 등의 질적 형질에 대한 유전 분석을 위하여 이들의 형질이 다른 계통을 교잡한 후, 교배조합(F₁), 자가 수정 차세대(F₂) 및 여교잡을 하여 분리비를 조사하였다. 꽃색이 노랑색 × 흰색(J × F) 조합(F₁)은 노랑색이고, F₂는 노랑색과 흰색의 비율이 3 : 1로 분리되었으나, 보라색 × 흰색(C × F) 조합의 화색은 흰 보라색이었고 차세대 F₂의 화색은 모친색 : 중간색 : 부친색의 비율이 1 : 2 : 1의 양상으로 분리되었다. 꽃의 크기에서 꽃이 큰 것 × 작은 것(H × J, B × J)의 조합(F₁)은 크게 나타났고, 차세대(F₂) 비율은 큰 것 3 : 작은 것 1로 분리되었고, 꽃잎이 주름진 것 × 평평한 것(H × J)의 조합 (F₁)은 주름진 것으로 나타났고, 차세대(F₂)의 비율은 주름진 것 3 : 평평한 것 1로 분리되었다. 또한 단화경 × 다화경 (A × F)조합은 다화경으로 나타났고, 차세대 비율은 다화경 3 : 단화경 1로 분리되었다. 잎색이 연녹색 × 진녹색(A ×F)의 조합은 진녹색이었고, 차세대(F₂) 비율이 진녹색 3 : 연녹색 1로 분리되었고, 잎 모양이 장타원형과 타원형의 교배조합(B × J)은 타원형으로 나타났고, 차세대(F₂) 비율은 타원형 3 : 장타원형 1로 분리되었다. 이와 같은 프리뮬라의 질적형질의 유전은 단인자가 작용하며 꽃의 색은 우성 또는 불완전 우성으로 유전되고, 꽃의 크기, 꽃잎의 형태, 잎의 색 및 잎의 모양은 완전 우성으로 유전되었다. This experiment was conducted to determine the inheritance of the flower color, flower size, petal shape, leaf color, and leaf shape in Primula polyantha. The cross combination (F₁) by pure line (S₇), its self-pollination (F₂) and backcross were tested by segregation. The petal color was inherited a monogenic complete dominance by progenies (F₂) and backcross with Yellow × White (J × F) and Yellow × Red (J×B). However, the combinations of Yellow × Pink (J × D) and Purple × White (C × F) showed a monogenic partial dominance. Based on Mendelism analysis, it was found that petal color was inherited a complete or partial dominant pattern. The big size of petal, wave of petal shape, dark green of leaf color and oval of leaf shape were inherited a monogenic complete dominance by testing of progenies (F₂) and backcross.
종자번식 일대잡종 정원용 아시아틱 나리 ‘Bright Yellow LiA’ 육성

우리나라에서 재배되고 있는 나리 구근의 대부분을 수입에 의존하고 있어 국내 품종을 개발하여 보급할 필요가 있다. 정원용아시아틱 나리 유전자원 ‘Butter Pixie’, ‘Mona’와 ‘Tiny Bee’를 2000년에 수집하여 2014년까지 모계(L₂-17-4)는 ‘Mona’와 ‘Butter Pixie’의 교배 조합을 6차례 자가수정(S₆)하여 선발하였고, 부계(L₂-32-5)는 ‘Tiny Bee’를 7차례 자가수정(S₇)하여 선발하였다. ‘Bright Yellow LiA’는 2016년부터 2018년까지 생육 및 개화의 균일도 및 노지재배를 통한 지역적응성을 검정하였고 소비자 선호도를 조사하였다. 정원용 아시아틱 나리 일대잡종 ‘Bright Yellow LiA’은 사발 모양의 노란색 홑꽃으로 반점이 적고 반점의 색은 갈색이다. 식물체당 개화수가 4.8개로 많은 편이었으며, 화경이 12.7㎝로 작고 꽃차례 형태는 총상꽃차례로 개화 방향은 상향이었다. 초장, 엽수, 엽장, 엽폭은 각각 39.2㎝, 32.9개, 7.5㎝, 1.5㎝였다. 일대 잡종 ‘Bright Yellow LiA’은 대조품종인 ‘Tiny Bee’보다 화경은 작으나 초장이 짧고 줄기가 강건하며 노지 재배가 가능하므로 정원용으로 선호도가 우수하였다. 또한 이 품종은 양친을 순계화하여 육성하였기 때문에 종자번식과 품종의 재현이 가능하다고 판단되었다. There is a need to breed and distribute domestic varieties of Lilium Asiatic hybrids because most of the lily bulbs cultivated in Korea are imported from foreign countries. The Lilium Asiatic ‘Butter Pixie’, ‘Mona’ and ‘Tiny Bee’ varieties collected in 2000 had been self-pollinated from 2002 to 2014. In 2016, Lilium Asiatic ‘Bright Yellow LiA’ was developed as an F₁ hybrid whose cultivar was generated by crossing ‘L₂-17-4’ and ‘L₂-32-5’. It was obtained by 6th generation self-fertilization of the combination ‘Mona’ x ‘Butter Pixie’ for the maternal line and 7th generation self-fertilization of ‘Tiny Bee’ for the paternal line. ‘Bright Yellow LiA’ was assessed for homogeneity using a regional adaptability test, and was shown to be preferred by consumers from 2016 to 2018. ‘Bright Yellow LiA’ flowers are yellow and bowl-shaped with a few brown spots. The number of flowers per plant was 4.8, which was relatively more flowers than other cultivars, and the flower diameter was small at 12.7㎝. The flower inflorescence was racemose, while the attitude of the longitudinal axis was erect. The plant height was 39.2 ㎝ with 32.9 leaves per plant and 7.5 ㎝ in leaf length. ‘Bright Yellow LiA’ showed a high preference for gardens because it had a longer flowering period, smaller flower diameter, shorter plant height, and thicker stem than those of the control, ‘Tiny Bee’. Moreover, this cultivar has the advantage of being able to reproduce and propagate by seeds since the parents are a pure line.
