알레르기 비염 동물 모델에서 유산균 발효 신이(辛夷)의 효과

Objectives : We aimed to determine therapeutic effects of probiotics-fermented Magnolia denudata(MD) in the allergic rhinitis model mice. Methods : Polyphenol production, DPPH radical scavenging activity and NO inhibition of fermented MD by different bacterial strains were evaluated to select the one that is most suitable for fermentation. Thirty C57BL/6 mice were divided randomly into 5 groups as follows: normal group, ovalbumin(OVA)-treated plus water fed(CON group), OVA-treated plus unfermented MD fed(UMD group), OVA-treated plus fermented autoclaved MD fed(A-FMD group) and OVA-treated plus fermented unautoclaved MD fed(FMD group). After 9 weeks, we observed changes in the blood cell count, OVA-specific IgE level, nasal rubbing, nasal mucosal tissue and body weight. Results : Extract of MD fermented by Bifidobacterium breve(BB) for 48 hours showed the highest anti-oxidant activity and anti-inflammatory activity out of all the other bacterial strains. The number of eosinophil count in A-FMD, FMD group and platelet count in FMD group showed statistically significant decrease(p<0.05). OVA-specific IgE level decreased in all 3 experimental groups, significantly in UMD and A-FMD group. Nasal symptoms were attenuated in all 3 experimental groups, statistically significant in A-FMD and FMD group (p<0.05). Histologically, infiltration of eosinophils into the nasal mucosa decreased in all 3 experimental groups, especially marked decrease in FMD group. Conclusions : According to the above results, it is considered that probiotics-fermented Magnolia denudata has inhibitory effects on the allergic rhinitis animal models.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of China risk on subsequent tourism demand and hospitality industry performance in Korea. A VARX model, an impulse response analysis and a conditional forecasting analysis were used on monthly time series data from January 2000 to December 2016, to realize the study objectives. Results of the analysis reveal that all three macro economic variables relating to China have no influence on Chinese tourism demand in Korea. However, the total number of Chinese tourist arrivals affects the performance of three major hospitality industries in Korea: airlines, lodging, and travel agencies. The outcome of conditional forecasting shows that the impact of China risk on Korean hospitality industries is greater than expected. 본 연구는 차이나 리스크 발생에 따른 방한 중국인 관광객 수 및 국내 Hospitality산업에 미치는 경제적 파급효과를 VARX(Vector Autoregressive Regression with Exogenous Variables)모형을 이용하여 충격반응검증 및 조건부 예측기법을 통해 추정하고자 하였다. 이에 2000년 1월부터 2016년 12월까지 중국거시경제지표, 방한 중국인 관광객 수 및 각 개별 Hospitality산업의 생산지수의 월별 시계열자료를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 충격반응분석 결과에서 3가지 중국 거시 경제지표의 변화(충격)가 방한 중국인 관광객 수에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 방한 중국인 관광객 수의 변화(충격)는 항공 산업, 숙박산업, 여행 산업에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 나타났다. 또한, 조건부 예측분석 결과는 중국 거시경제가 예측한 상황보다 안 좋을 경우 방한 중국인 관광객 수와 국내 Hospitality산업의 성과에 미치는 영향과 위험(변동성)은 예측된 결과보다 훨씬 좋지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 4개의 개별 산업 중에서 여행 산업, 숙박산업, 항공 산업, 외식산업 순으로 부정적 영향의 크기와 위험(변동성)이 더 커지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

저소득층 청소년과 부모/보호자의 산·관·학 연계 교육복지·상담 프로그램 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

I explored the meanings of experiences and the changes of the low-income youths’ and parents’/caretakers’ in activities & group-counselling programs in the study. For the purposes of the study, I applied with the phenomenological analysis. I conducted in-depth interview with 14 youths and 8 parents/caretakers from October, 28 to December, 2 in 2017. It took for around 40~50 minutes for youths and 50~90 minutes for parents/caretakers. The research outcomes identified the participation, changing, and result categories in commons for both youths and parents/caregivers. For youths, it was found that ‘the extension of social relationship network’, ‘fun activities instead of the boring in Saturday’, ‘the chances of exploring my career’ in the core subject of the participation category. In the changing category, there were ‘various experiences and pleasures in activities’, ‘building supportive social networks’. In the result category, there were ‘becoming the one of the parts in my daily life’, ‘constructing my future dream & planning my career’. For the parents/caretakers, it was found that ‘suggestion of participating the program from DreamStart’, ‘as the priority task of taking care of my children’, ‘understanding and healing for myself’ in the participation category. In the changing category, there were ‘forming self-supportive social networks by speaking one’s minds’, ‘healing by experiencing culture and out-door activities & taking a view of myself’. In the result category, there were ‘changing my attitudes for children’, ‘changing to positive family-relationship’, ‘extension of interpersonal-relationship & regaining confidence through my strengths’, ‘perceiving the changes of myself & gaining happiness.’

의사-환자 역할극을 통한 참여형 임상실습 만족도 조사

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate students' satisfaction on participation learning using role-play in clerkship of Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology department. Methods : In 2012, 93 sixth grade students undergoing Oriental Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology clerkship were included in this study. The students listened to a lecture on nasal disease. And three days later, Students were randomly divided into two groups, doctor or patient, and performed role-play in their role. After role- play, they completed the questionnaire, the questionnaire was composed of 16 items. Results : Mean of total satisfaction score was 4.14. Mean of interest and appropriacy score was 4.48, mean of usefulness satisfaction was 3.93. There was no significant difference in mean scores by the role groups. Students evaluated the role-play in clerkship positively. Conclusions : Students evaluated the role-play that it was interesting and useful educational tool in clerkship. It is necessary to undergo further trials and complement programs to upgrade the quality of Oriental medical clerkship.

제4차 산업혁명에 대응하기 위한 정부출연연구기관의 역할방안 모색

ICT 기술 융합이 가져오는 초고속과 초융합, 초지능화 시대를 의미하는 제4차 산업혁명으로의 진입을 앞두고 있다. 그리고 그 시대를 선도하기 위한 국가, 기관차원의 전략수립이 치열하다. 그러나 제4차 산업혁명에 대한 불분명한 기준은 전략수립에 있어서 장애요인이 될 수밖에 없다. 이에 본 연구는 제4차 산업혁명에 관한 문헌을 토대로 전략수립을 위한 프레임워크를 제안하여, 다가오는 시대변화에 대응하기 위한 정부출연 연구기관의 역할에 대한 시사점을 얻는 데 그 목적이 있다. 특히 정부출연연구기관의 역할을 기술 · 인력 · 정보 제공자로 분명히 하고, 관련된 민간기업과의 공생을 통하여 제4차 산업혁명의 생태계를 조성하는 것을 강조하고자 한다. 제4차 산업혁명이 유연한 산업구조를 요구하고 있는 것은 분명하다. 따라서 정부출연 연구기관이 중소기업 및 기술기반 창업기업이 성장할 수 있는 생태계를 조성한다면, 제4차 산업혁명을 대기업 위주의 산업구조를 탈피할 수 있는 기회로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

건식찹쌀가루를 첨가한 호박죽의 감각적 및 이화학적 품질특성

Purpose: This study examined the changes in the sensory characteristics of pumpkin porridge (Hobakjook) with varying ratios of dry waxy rice powder (0 g(CON), 40 g(DWP2), 80 g(DWP4), 120 g(DWP6) and 160 g(DWP8)). Methods: The moisture contents, Hunter color, viscosity, °Brix, and spreadability were measured. The sensory characteristics were assessed through a quantitative descriptive analysis (QDA) of 14 sensory attributes by 16 trained panelists, and a consumer acceptance test was conducted on 200 consumers. Results: The moisture contents of pumpkin porridge were highest in the CON sample. The color (L, a, b-value), °Brix and viscosity of the pumpkin porridge increased as the dry waxy rice powder ratio was increased. The QDA results showed that most of the flavor attributes (sweetness, savory, astringency, and cooked rice flavor), and roughness of the texture of the pumpkin porridge increased as the dry waxy rice powder ratio was increased. In contrast, the yellowness, glossy appearance, pumpkin odor, pumpkin flavor, softness of texture, and aftertaste decreased. Principal component analysis (PCA) showed that PC1 and PC2 accounted for 60.11% and 31.56%, respectively, of the total variance, wherein PC1 was the criterion for classifying pumpkin porridge samples according to the ratio of dry waxy rice powder in pumpkin porridge. Partial least square regression (PLSR) showed that DWP6 and DWP8 in order were all close to that of acceptance, but CON and DWP2 were positioned in the opposite direction of acceptance. Conclusion: The ratio of dry waxy rice powder in pumpkin porridge is an important factor affecting the sensory quality and consumer acceptance of pumpkin porridge. The ideal dry waxy rice powder ratio for pumpkin porridge is 120 g with 3,600 g water, 1,880 g pumpkin base, 16 g salt, and 80 g sugar.

Adseverin mediates RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis by regulating NFATc1

Adseverin is a Ca2+-dependent actin filament-severing protein that has been reported to regulate exocytosis via rearrangements of the actin cytoskeleton in secretory cells. However, the role of adseverin in bone cells has not yet been well characterized. Here, we investigated the role of adseverin in osteoclastogenesis using primary osteoclast precursor cells. Adseverin expression was upregulated during RANKL (receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand)-induced osteoclast differentiation. Moreover, genetic silencing of adseverin decreased the number of osteoclasts generated by RANKL. Adseverin knockdown also suppressed the RANKL-mediated induction of nuclear factor of activated T-cell c1 (NFATc1), which is a key transcription factor in osteoclastogenesis. In addition, adseverin knockdown impaired bone resorption and the secretion of bone-degrading enzymes from osteoclasts. These effects were accompanied by decreased NFATc1 expression and the activation of nuclear factor-κB. Collectively, our results indicate that adseverin has a crucial role in osteoclastogenesis by regulating NFATc1.

폐감귤피에서 추출한 limonene 오일의 세정성에 관한 연구

The object of this research is to conform of practicable possibility and recycling of producing junk after citrus fruits is processed. With extracting d-limonene oil that have 70~90% a component of oil out of junk citrus peel, making certain the about 12000ppm concentration of it. Limonene derived from citrus in Jeju using conventional synthetic detergents can be replaced with the development of environmentally friendly natural detergent investigated the possibility. Mostly due to ocean dumping, disposal and cause environmental problems by recycling natural citrus cleaner alternative to the research conducted on the possibility. Cleaning efficiency with temperature did not affect the largest concentrations were able to identify the difference between cleaning efficiency. At least 10% of the d-limonene oil could be from the cleaning performance, increasing the concentration of the cleaning efficiency was increased in size. Ultrasonic is very high removal efficiency under the conditions shown in the cause of pure self-generated ultrasonic cleaning power as co-effects of d-limonene oil appears to chemical cleaning effect of ultrasonic cavitation occurs in the physical cleaning effect due to a combination of synergistic stability is maximized by low concentrations of d-limonene oil in a short time showed an excellent cleaning ability. Having the ability of cleaning at the same time, considering the side recycling in the junk citrus peels reflects possibility of basic materials utility eco-friendly in the skin soap, bath soap, cosmetics etc, through ability of exclusion a contaminant in based cleaning effect(EC) it can prospect substitution effect environmentally in the pre existence synthetic detergents.
