액세스 망은 다양한 서비스를 가입자에게 제공하기 위한 네트웍의 마지막 부분으로서 초고속 정보통신망의 구축을 위하여 매우 중요한 시설이다. 액세스 망의 구축은 시간과 투자가 많이 소요되며 신중한 진화 전력의 수립이 중요하다. 투자의 위험을 줄이기 위하여 기존의 투자를 활용하는 방법이 고려될 수 있다. 이때 기존의 동선시설을 이용하는 경우 xDSL 등이 대안으로 떠오르고 종합유선방송시설(HFC)을 이용하고자 하면 Cable Modem이 대안이 될 수 있다. 각 방식은 기술적으로는 가능성이 있으나 현장공급에는 근본적인 제약이 있으므로 궁극적으로는 액세스 망은 xDSL이나 Cable Modem을 징검다리로 하여 FI시FH 진화되어 나갈 것으로 생각된다.<br/>

With the introduction of edge drop control system in Tandem Cold Rolling Mill, it is necessary to develop te numerical expression for the set-up and edge drop automatic control of cold rolled sheet. As a first step we developed a simulation program which predicts profile and the amounts of edge drop at the delivery side of each stand by using roll deformation anlysis with the slit roll model. And by using the program the effect of various rolling conditions on edge drop was investigated. As a result the relations were obtained between the amounts of edge drop and rolling conditions. Based on above relations, the numerical expression was developed for the set-up and automatic control of edge drop by multi-regression of simulation results for the variation of edge drop amount with each rolling condition.

Although Prefabricated Steel Pipe Scaffolding(PSPS) systems are frequently used in domestic construction sites, there is no any comment related to the overall capacity of the PSPS system in the Industrial Safety and Health Act (ISHA) but the ones describing the testing method and the capacity of the each member of PSPS. So, if we want to use the PSPS systems as shores, it is necessary to know the overall capacity of the PSPS system, not the ones of the members but the one of the total PSPS frame. In this study, first, vertical frame members which are the basic elements of the PSPS frame, are tested for finding out its capacity. Second, the load tests about the overall strength of the PSPS system are performed in two ways, namely, for the one-story and the two-story PSPS frame. In each case, the centric load(1/2 L) and the eccentric load(1/4 L, 0 L) tests are carried out, where L is the longer length of the PSPS frame. According to the results of the experiments, first, the load bearing capacity of the one-story PSPS frame are larger than the one of the two-story PSPS frame at the same conditions. Second, the centric load bearing capacity is larger than the one of the eccentric loading in the same story PSPS system.

About the steel pipe built-up scaffolding(BTS), which is being used in domestic construction sites, there are no related codes to the overall capacity of the BTS in the Industrial Safety and Health Act (ISHA) but only the ones which describe the testing method and the capacity of the each member of BTS. In the cold rolling mill, it is very important that a constrained static flow stress of rolled strip and rolling force calculation model be exactly considered to improve an prediction accuracy for rolling forces. Therefore, in this study, the values of the constrained static flow stress are used by deriving the regression equation which is a function of rolling conditions(FDT, CT) and chemical compositions(C, Si, Mn), previously applied by making the tables of yield strength for hot coils with size. And with the consideration that an elastic deformation part of an rolled strip appears at the entry and delivery side of the contacting area between the work roll and rolled strip is calculated. By applying these methods, the more accurate prediction for rolling force is obtained. As a results, the deviation of thickness is significantly reduced in the rolling direction.
