        슬관절의 골관절염 환자에서 관절강 내 몰핀의 진통효과

        Objective: This study was conducted to assess the analgesic effect of intraarticular injection with morphine and hyaluronic acid in comparison with intraarticular injection with hyaluronic acid only in the patients with osteoarthritis of knee. Method: Twenty four patients with degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee were assigned randomly to a morphine group (morphine+hyaluronic acid) and a hyaluronic acid group. In the morphine group, intraarticular injection with morphine and hyaluronic acid at first was applied to the knee 2 times. Then intraarticular injection with hyaluronic acid without morphine was applied in the remaining 3 times. In the hyaluronic acid group, intraarticular injection with hyaluronic acid was applied to the knee 5 times. Effects were assessed on the 1st week, 5th week after treatment, and on the last follow up day by pain rating score (PRS). Results: Significant change of PRS improvement was noticed in the morphine group in the 1st week after treatment compared with the hyaluronic acid group. Conclusion: These results showed that intraarticular injection with morphine and hyaluronic acid was a more effective treatment method than intraarticular injection with hyaluronic acid only for pain control in patients with osteoarthritis of knee.

        척수 손상 환자에서 입원 치료 후 신경인성 장 기능의 호전

        Objective: To investigate the change of neurogenic bowel dysfunction (NBD) in spinal cord injury (SCI) patients during admission. Method: Thirty eight SCI patients were enrolled. The NBD score by Krogh was converted to the Korean-version of NBD score. The questionnaires of NBD score included questions about neurogenic bowel symptoms, signs, gender, age, duration, injury level, American spinal cord injury association impairment scale (AIS) and Spinal cord independence measure (SCIM) were used for evaluation of the functional impairment of the SCI. The Korean version of NBD score was applied to the SCI patients at the time of admission and discharge. Neurogenic bowel was treated according to scheduled bowel care. The subcomponents of bowel care protocol were education of bowel habit, abdominal massage, triggered defecation, oral medication and rectal stimulants insertion. Results: The NBD score at the time of discharge decreased significantly in all patients within three months after SCI (p<0.001). Particularly, AIS A, C, D patients (except for cauda equina syndrome patients) (p<0.005) showed significant decrease of NBD score. There were no significant difference of NBD score according to age, sex, injured cord level and SCIM (p>0.05). Conclusion: We could reveal the significant improvement of NBD in patients within three months after SCI during admission. The change was more evident in AIS A, C, D patients.         Identification of Yield and Yield-Related Quantitative Trait Loci for the Field High Temperature Condition in Backcross Populations of Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

        The yield related traits are controlled by multiple quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and influenced by environmental changein rice. We analyzed QTLs for 15 yield related traits using two backcross populations, derived from crosses between IR64 as recurrentparent and Koshihikari as donor parent, through two years. A total of 67 backcross inbred lines (BILs) and 40 chromosome segmentsubstitution lines (CSSLs) were genotyped using 183 SNP markers using a high-throughput genotyping system. Some genomic gapsbetween markers were identified in two populations. For fifteen traits in this study, 36 major QTLs (mQTLs) for 12 traits and 16 digenicepistatic QTLs (EpQTLs) for culm length were detected in BILs. On the other hand, 17 mQTLs were detected for nine traits in CSSLs. Among them, six mQTLs for grain yield traits were collocated on chromosome 10 in both years. For spikelet fertility, six putative QTLswere detected under high temperature conditions in 2018. The QTLs identified in this study could be used for the development of ricevarieties conferring inter-subspecific combinations of yield-related traits.

        척수손상환자에서 Alendronate 복용 후 골밀도의 증가

        Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the changes of bone mineral density (BMD) according to the postinjury duration, walking ability, and to assess the effect of oral alendronate therapy on BMD and biochemical markers in patients with spinal cord injury. Method: Forty-eight subjects with spinal cord injury were enrolled. One tablet of AlendⓇ (10 mg of sodium alendronate) was administered daily for 6 months. After this, all subjects received placebo for 6 months as the same manner. The baseline quantitative assessments of BMD and biochemical bone markers, serum osteocalcin and C-terminal telopeptide of type I collagen (ICTP), were performed before the administration of drug. The follow up assess-ments were performed at 6 and 12 months after drug and placebo administration. Results: The patients treated with oral alendronate showed significantly higher BMD of femur compared with baseline (p<0.05). Also, ICTP showed significant reduction after alendronate therapy. BMD change rate of alendronate therapy was higher in functional ambulation group compared with wheelchair ambulation group. BMD change rate of alendronate therapy was higher than that of placebo administration. Conclusion: Alendronate therapy may be useful in prevention of loss of BMD after spinal cord injury.

        Evaluation of Elbow Stretch Reflex Using a Portable Hand-driven Isokinetic System in Normal Adults

        Objective To evaluate normal healthy persons without spasticity to observe normal findings of the elbow stretch reflex using a newly developed, portable, hand-driven spasticity-measuring system. Method Thirty normal persons without any disease involving the central or peripheral nervous system were enrolled in this study. The portable hand-driven isokinetic system is able to measure the joint angle, angular velocity, electromyographic (EMG) signals, and torque during elbow passive extension-flexion. One set of 10 passive elbow extension and flexion movements was performed for data acquisition at each angular velocity, including 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 degrees per second (o/sec). Electromyographic data were collected from the biceps brachii and the triceps brachii. Torque data were collected from sensors around the wrist. Results We were able to detect EMG activity and torque in all subjects by using the new portable hand-driven isokinetic system. EMG activity and torque increased with incremental increase of angular velocities. The joint angle of maximal EMG activity according to different angular velocities did not show any signifi cant difference (116o-127o in elbow extension and 37o-66o in elbow flexion). The joint angles of maximal torque according to different angular velocities were not signifi cantly different either. Conclusion Using the portable hand-driven isokinetic system on the elbows of normal subjects, we were able to obtain expected results. By considering our normal findings of the elbow stretch reflex using this system, we propose that the various aspects of spasticity-related data can be measured successfully.

        뇌졸중에서 새로운 이동형 측정 시스템을 이용한 경직의 신장반사 역치

        Objective: To introduce a new hand-driven portable system for measuring the spasticity and to test the availability of the new portable system for measuring the spasticity. Method: Spasticity was evaluated in 15 patients with stroke using a new portable system and the Modified Ashworth scale (MAS). The device was designed in order to measure the joint angle, angular velocity, electromyographic signals, and torque. Each sets of 10 passive elbow joint movements were completed using a new portable system at 60, 90, 120, 150, and 180 degrees per second (deg/s) while surface electromyographic data were collected from the biceps, and triceps. Velocity-dependent dynamic stretch reflex thresholds (DSRTs) were recorded. These values were used to compute tonic stretch reflex threshold (TSRT). The correlations between TSRT and the MAS were investigated. Results: MAS grade was distributed from 1 to 2 grade (1: 40.0%, 1+: 33.3%, 2: 26.7%). TSRT, r2 values ranged from 116.6 to 134.6 and 0.45 to 0.88, respectively. The correlation between MAS grade and TSRT was strong correlation (rho=-0.708, p=0.003). Conclusion: We showed that the new portable system is clinically more useful instrument, which can produce reliable objective data and were more convenient on spasticity measurement. The new measuring system is a portable hand-driven spasticity-measurement system, which encompass various scopes of spasticity-related human signals such as electrophysiologic, kinematic, and biomechanical data. We suggest that this new system can diagnose the spasticity of the muscles, objectively.

        Fine Mapping and Candidate Gene Analysis of Small Round Grain Mutant in Rice

        Grain size and panicle architecture are important traits determining yield. Here we report a new allele of DEP2 (dense and erect panicle 2) which has a pleiotropic effect on grain size/shape and panicle architecture. A small round grain and erect panicle mutant was obtained by treating japonica cultivar Hwacheong waxy with MNU (N-methyl-N-nitrosourea). Through fine mapping sequence analysis, we identified the single nucleotide substitution in the mutant, which caused splicing error of the first intron, on previously reported DEP2 locus in rice. Since the dep2-1 and dep2-2 have been reported in previous studies, we named this new allele as dep2-3. The dep2-3 mutant manifested reduced grain size and plant height, dense and erect panicle and erect plant architecture. When we crossed the mutant with wild type, panicle and grain of F1 plant showed intermediate phenotype, indicating that dep2-3 showed incomplete dominance, which was not reported in the previous study. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results showed that increase in width of mutant grain was due to the increased width of glume cells. Paraffin section of peduncle revealed that outgrowth in outer layer of peduncle compared to inner layer caused the erectness of the panicle. Our results collectively indicated that the dep2-3 might play a significant role in the regulation of grain size/shape and formation of vascular bundles.

        무용공연 관객개발을 위한 관람만족요인분석과 정책적 접근 - (재)부산문화회관 사례를 중심으로 -

        This dissertation focuses on fine arts, especially on the audience development of dance performances. In the performing arts industry, audience development of fine arts is faced with both circumstantial and social challenges. In the case of Busan, because of the fierce competition within the industry due to the establishment of new large-scale concert halls, the policy approach in audience development is becoming more significant. This study identified factors of audience satisfaction in dance performances and conducted empirical analysis on general service satisfaction. The satisfactory level study organized by Busan Cultural Center for 4 years since 2019 served as a reference for this research. 756 samples were extracted and various methods of statistical analysis such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were utilized for this study. As a result, the factors of audience satisfaction in dance performances were classified as Factor 1(performance satisfaction) and Factor 2(service satisfaction). Following analysis proved that both factors exert a substantial impact on the overall satisfaction in performance hall experience, validating the hypothesis of this research. In addition, the importance of service factors such as on-site response in the performance hall was confirmed in the dance performance viewing. Hence, this dissertation is meaningful in the sense that it presents the policy significance of audience development for performance hall management. 이 연구는 순수예술분야에서도 특히 무용공연의 관객개발을 모색하는데 중점을 둔다. 공연산업에서 순수예술분야의 관객개발은 환경적, 사회적 어려움을 내포하고 있다. 부산의 경우 대형공연장 건립으로 인한 경쟁으로 향후 관객개발에 대한 정책적 접근의 중요성이 주목받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 무용공연을 대상으로 관람만족요인들을 살펴보고 이러한 요인들과 전반적 이용만족에 관한 실증분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위해 2019년부터 지난 4년간 (재)부산문화회관에서 실시된 만족도조사 자료를 참조하였다. 연구를 위해 756개의 표본을 추출하였으며 수집된 자료 분석을 위해 사용된 통계분석기법은 빈도분석, 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석 등의 기법이 활용되었다. 그 결과 무용공연에서 관람만족요인은 요인1과 요인2로 구분되었다. 이에 본 연구에서 요인1은 작품만족으로, 요인2는 진행만족으로 명명하였다. 이후 분석을 통해 작품만족요인과 진행만족요인 모두 공연장의 전반적 이용만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 연구자의 가설이 지지됨을 확인하였다. 또한 무용공연관람에서 공연장의 현장서비스 등 진행요소에 대한 중요성을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구는 최근 공연장 운영에서 관객개발과 관련한 정책적 시사점을 제시했다는 의의를 지닌다.
