        인쇄회로기판 배선소재 표면 거칠기에 따른 HDMI 전송선로 설계 기준 연구

        Recently, the development of smartphone camera technology enables to shoot high quality video. In order to utilize these techniques in various ways, it is necessary to be able to transmit signals to an external device such as a external display. The transmission performance of the video signal is determined by the loss of the transmission line and the length of the wiring. In this paper, we propose the HDMI transmission line design criterion according to the wiring length changed according to the smartphone design and the surface roughness amplitude of the printed circuit board conductor wiring material. Also, we verified the proposed design criteria for the actual smartphone design. The proposed design criterion can be applied to various application fields including high-speed signal transmission line besides mobile application. 최근 스마트폰 카메라 기술의 발달로 고화질의 동영상을 촬영할 수 있다. 이러한 기술을 다양한 방법으로 활용하기 위해 디스플레이 등의 외부 장치로 신호 전송이 가능하여야 한다. 영상신호의 전송 성능은 전송선로의 손실과 배선의 길이에 따라 결정된다. 논문에서는 스마트폰 디자인에 따라 변경되는 배선 길이와 인쇄회로기판 도체 배선 소재 표면 거칠기 진폭에 따른 HDMI 전송선로 설계 기준을 제안하였다. 또한 실제 스마트폰 설계에 제안된 설계 기준을 적용하여 검증하였다. 본 논문을 통해 제안된 설계 기준은 모바일 어플리케이션 외 고속신호 전송선로가 포함되는 다양한 응용분야에 확대 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        모바일 기기를 위한 초소형 이중 교차 다이폴 안테나 설계

        In this paper, we design and fabricate an ultra small dual crossed dipole antenna operating at 2.4 GHz frequency. In order to miniaturize the size of the antenna so that it can be applied to a mobile device, a cross dipole is disposed on the upper two layers and a reflection plane, a horizontal matching circuit and a ground plane are arranged on each layer. The circuit was connected by a vertical through-hole. The size of the fabricated antenna is 21.61 mm × 16.88 mm × 1.27 mm, the measured reflection coefficient is -31.5 dB, and the bandwidth below -10 dB is 112 MHz. In addition, since the gain of the antenna is -4 dBi, it has the omnidirectional radiation characteristic, so it can be applied to various fields as an antenna for mobile devices. 본 논문에서는 주파수 2.4 GHz에서 동작하는 초소형 이중 교차 다이폴 안테나를 설계 및 제작하였다. 모바일 기기에 적용할 수 있도록 안테나의 크기를 소형화하기 위해 교차 다이폴을 상부 2개 층에 배치하고 하부에 반사평면과 수평형 정합회로 및 그라운드 평면을 각 층에 배치한 구조에서 안테나와 급전부 및 정합회로는 수직 방향 관통비아홀로 연결하였다. 제작된 안테나의 크기는 21.61 mm × 16.88 mm × 1.27 mm이며, 측정된 반사계수는 –31.5 dB이고, -10 dB 이하 대역폭은 112 MHz 이다. 또한 안테나의 이득은 –4 dBi로 무지향성의 방사 특성을 가지므로 모바일 기기용 안테나로 다양한 분야에 확대 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

      • 3차원 4×4 Multi-Conductor 시스템에 대한 Coupling Capacitance의 효율적인 계산

        In the design of microwave circuits with high input frequence, accurate estimates of the capacitance of the structures are important for determining final circuit speeds or functionality. This paper describes to extend the fast algorithm for the capacitance extraction of large three-dimensional object. The triangular meshes are used and refined adaptively in the area where the heavy charges reside in each iterative solving. This technique is applied to the capacitance extraction of a 4×4 conducting bar. The results show fast convergence, and this adaptive technique coupled with the fast algorithm is efficient to reduce the number of elements and computing time with least additionally computational efforts in large three dimensional problems.

        APD용 TIA 회로의 안정성 개선을 위한 Quenching 저항 영향 분석

        In this paper, since the APD(Avalanche Photo Diode) for LTV(Light to Voltage) conversion uses a high voltage in the operating range unlike other PD(Photo Diode)s, the quenching resistor must be connected in series to prevent overcurrent when using the TIA(Transimpedance Amplifier). In such a case, quenching resistance may affect the transfer function of the TIA circuit, resulting in serious stability. Therefore, in this paper, by analyzing the effect of APD quenching resistance on the voltage and current loop transfer function of TIA, we propose a loop analysis and a method for determining the quenching resistance value to improve stability. TIA circuit with quenching resistance was designed by the proposed method and the stability of operation was verified through simulation and chip fabrication.

        하천수질정화용 토양여과의 여과용량 증대와 수질 개선을 위한 친환경 여재 특성 비교

        Nowadays, the challenges of ensuring good water quality and quantity of river are becoming more important for human society, but there has been troublesome for purifying river water. In this study, we performed the fundamental study of a river water treatment system using riverside soil and eco-friendly optimal media for improving river water quality and can also treat a large amount of river water. As the results of the physical and chemical characterization of the two different soils (Kyungan and Chungrang, The Republic of Korea), which were collected from real stream sides in the Han River basin, and five kinds of media (zeolite, perlite, steel slag, woodchip and mulch), both soils were all classified as a sand, and effective size (D10) and uniformity coefficient (U) of the soil were about 0.2 mm and 4 or so, respectively. Through the batch and column experiments with the soil and eco-friendly media, zeolite and mulch were found to be efficient for decreasing nitrogen. In addition, steel slag was especially superior to the other media for phosphorus removal. From soil reforming tests volume ratios were 2.8, 1, and 1 of Kyungan soil, zeolite, and steel slag hydraulic conductivity of mixed soil was increased 1.30 x 10⁻² from 2.85 x 10⁻³ of Kyungan soil, and the removal efficiencies of nitrogen and phosphorus were also improved. These results show that reforming of the soil enhanced the purification of a large amount of water, and zeolite, mulch, and steel slag might be facilitated as proper functional media.

        엘 아마르나 문서의 하비루(Habiru)와 사.가즈(Sa.Gaz)에 대한 재고

        The purpose of this article is to study the identity of the Habiru in the El Amarna letters in its context. When the El Amarna letters were discovered in 1877, the theory of the conquest of Joshua and the Israelites was significantly affected. In the early stage of the study of the El Amarna letters, scholars identified the Habiru/Sa.Gaz of El Amarna as Biblical Hebrews and regarded them as a support for Joshua’s conquest of Canaan. However, ever since Benno Landsberger suggested that Habirus were fugitives, many scholars have regarded the Habiru of El Amarna as an outcast group formed by the lower social class. They then have used this new interpretation to explain a completely different theory of the origin of the Israelites from the Canaan conquest. They have defined the Habiru as people who escaped from the control of the ruling class and lived as social outcasts in the form of robbers or killers who threatened the ruling class. However, the Habiru in the El Amarna letters do not give any information about the origin of Israel in Canaan. Whether the scholars use the Habiru for the theory of the Canaan conquest or for an explanation of a social phenomenon, their arguments are founded on their lack of consideration of the specific text and also on the misunderstanding of the context in the El Amarna letters regarding the Habiru. Even though scholars regard Habiru with Sa.Gaz, the El Amarna letters mostly use Sa.Gaz, whereas they use Habiru only 9 times. The word ‘Sa.Gaz’ in the El Amarna letters may have been used, in some cases, to refer to alienated social groups, but it was used, in most cases, as a derogatory expression against the political enemies of the kings of the city states. The word ‘Habiru’ was used only by Abdi-Heba, king of Jerusalem, and it was also a disparaging expression against his political enemies. It cannot be understood through the content of the El Amarna letters why Abdi-Heba used the expression ‘Habiru,’ whereas none of the other kings of the city states did not. Even if there is a chance that the ‘Habiru’ in the El Amarna letters indicates the Biblical Hebrews, Abdi-Heba used it only to belittle the hostile kings of the city states and their people who were his political enemies. Therefore, the expressions ‘Sa.Gaz’ and ‘Habiru’ in the El Amarna letters are unrelated to the Canaan conquest theory, and they do not indicate the socially oppressed lower class who sought independence from the ruling class. The expressions were only used by the kings of the city states to disparage each other as they waged endless wars out of greed to expand their power and land. 본 논문은 엘 아마르나 편지들에 나오는 하비루(사.가즈)의 정체를 재고하는데 있다. 지금까지는 어원론적 접근을 통해 엘 아마르나의 모든 하비루가 강도나 도망자들이라고 생각하였다. 이 논문은 이 표현들의 전후 문맥과 편지 상호간의 내용 검토를 통해 거의 대부분의 표현들이 도시 국가 왕들이 자신들의 정치적 적대 세력에 대해 표현한 비하적 표현이라는 사실을 밝혀내고 있다.
