        찰옥수수 연구 IX. 찰옥수수 교잡종의 아밀로그램 특성, 항산화성 및 식미관련 종실의 물성

        This study was carried out to gain basic informations about amylogram, antioxidant activity function and physicochemical properties for kernel of the newly developed waxy corn hybrids. The used materials were produced in 2008 and cultivated at breeding farm of CNU in 2009. From amylogram analysis, peak and minimum viscosity of the used hybrids were appeared in CNU08H-71 and CNU08H-69 hybrid, respectively. DPPH free radical scavenging effect marked as election donating ability was highly appeared in CNU08H-15 and CNU08H-69 hybrid, while CNU08H-h102 hybrid was the lowest. Hardness of kernel was highly appeared in CNU08H-35 hybrid, and chewiness and gumminess were also the highest in this hybrid, but those of CNU08H-h105 hybrid were the lowest. In these facts, we confirmed that the used hybrids were very different among traits related to amylogram, functions and table qualities. Accordingly, development of the new waxy corn hybrid will be profitable to select and develop as a crossing combination including many excellent traits.

        식용 찰옥수수에 대해 소비자의 기호성과 기능성이 고루 높고 가공적성이 우수한 복합 신품종을 육성하고자 현재 재배되고 있는 장려품종을 대조구로 하여 총 15개 교잡종을 아밀로그램 특성, 항산화성 및 식미관련 종실특성을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 공시된 교잡종에 대한 아밀로그램 분석결과 식미에 유리한 최고 점도 및 강하 점도는 CNU08H-69 교잡종에서 각각 115.9와 53.8RVU로 가장 높았고 CNU08H-h121과 일미 찰이 각각 51.6와 This study was carried out to gain basic informations about amylogram, antioxidant activity function and physicochemical properties for kernel of the newly developed waxy corn hybrids.         돌연변이원 감마선처리에 의해 유기된 단수수 유망 계통의 주요특성

        This study was carried out to develop a new sweet sorghum for biomass by using mutagen, gamma-ray. Seeds treated were gained from National Genetic Resource Center, RDA, and these seeds were irradiated with gamma-ray (400Gy) at KAERI. CNUS-M113 and CNUS-M134 among 169 collected accessions were evaluated a promising line for biomass due to increasing of fresh and dry weight. In addition, this line was high in stem height, number of tiller and fresh weight per plant than check, Hwang-gum chal sorghum. Accodingly, this line demanded for leading variety the production test and cultivation adaptability in future years.

        CNU 흰찰 육성계통의 작물학적 특성

        This study was carried out to find a botanical and antioxidant characteristics in CNU rice lines developed in the crop Genetics & Breeding Lab. At (CNU) the CNU lines including CNU-Hinhchal, were planted one plant per hill by hand by 30 ㎝×15 ㎝ density at CNU paddy rice farm on May 11, 2011. Clum length of Shinsunchalbyeo as check among used line was longest than others, while that of CNU-114 was shortest among lines. For the number of tillers per plant, CNU-Hinhchal was higher as 20 than other lines but CNU-112 and Shinsunchalbyeo were lowest as 12. The number of spikelets per plant was highest in CNU-Hinhchal as 1,800 but that of Milyang 225 was lowest among the used lines.

        찰옥수수 연구: Ⅹ. 육성된 찰옥수수 교잡종의 식물학적 특성 및 식미관련 이화학적 형질

        국내 옥수수 유전자원을 계통육성하여 충남대학교 옥수수 유전 육종 실험실에서 새로 작성된 찰옥수수 교잡종을 2009년 5윌에 본 대학 옥수수 육종포장에서 재배하여 얻은 주요 식물학적 특성, 식미관련 물성검정, 영양가 분석 및 식미 평가에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 공시된 찰옥수수 15개 교잡종에 대한 간장은 CNU08H-h39에서 235.7 cm, CNU08H-15에서 182.3 cm 범위로 공시종간에 큰 변이를 보였으며, 착수고 역시 Daehakchal Gold 1에서 83.7 cm, CNU08H-15에서 35.3 cm로 큰 차이를 보였다. 2. 이삭길이는 공시종 중에서 CNU08H-h121이 24.1 cm로 가장 길었고, CNU08H-71이 12.9 cm포 가장 작았으며 이삭직경은 Daehakehal Gold 1이 46.8 mm로 가장 굵고 CNU08H-69에서 26.1 mm로 가장 얇았다. 3. 공시종의 평균 당도는 15brix로 나타났는데 특히 CNU08H-15, CNU08H-35, CNU08H-h39, CNU08H-h102의 교잡종이 16 brix로 높은 편이었고 CNU08H-39에서 13 brix으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 과피는 대조구인 연농찰이 46.0um 로 가장 두꺼웠고 CNU08H-39가 23.0um 로 가장 얇았다. 4. 생체이삭 내 단백질 함량은 대조구인 Ilmichal이 13.6%으로 가장 높게 나타났고, CNU08H-39가 8.6%으로 가장 낮았다. 아밀로펙틴 함량은 CNU08H-15의 교잡종이 94.5%로 가장 높았고 CaNU08H-71 에서 90.5%로 가장 낮았다. 5. 공시종에 대한 관능 평가 결과 대학찰골드 1호, CNU08H-h121 그리고 CNU08H-39순으로 높게 나타났으며 대조구인 연농찰 역시 비교적 높게 나타났다. CNU08H-15, CNU08H-35 and CNU08H-h39 among these were highly appeared as 15 above and pericarp thickness of Yeonongchal was very thick as 46.0~mum , while CNU08H-39 among hybrids showed the thinnest as 23.0~mum compared to other hybrids. Protein content as a indicator of table quality was the highest in Ilmichal among hybrids, while that of CNU08H-39 was the lowest, while amylopectin content was the highest as 94.5%, From experimental results, Daehakchal Gold 1, CNU08H-h121 and CNU08H-39 including check Yeonyoungchal were highly evaluated as new hybrid in thinner pericarp, high amylopectin and chewiness.

        찰옥수수연구 XVIII 시설하우스에서 2기작 찰옥수수 교잡종의 주요 생육특성 비교

        The major characteristics of the developed corn hybrids were compared at each different planting time; 1st time(April 28) and 2nd time(August 20), respectively. Among traits surveyed, stem height showed highly at 1st time than 2nd, while ear height, stem diameter and ear length were similar at two times. Sugar content of the used hybrids showed highly at 2nd planting time than 1st. Pericarp thickness was also high at 2nd planting time. Especially, among hybrids CNU99 was the highest in stem height and ear length, CNU11 and CNU56 were high in sugar content, and CNU51 and CNU124 were thiner than other hybrids in pericarp thickness. Accordingly, these hybrids will be planted and recognized in 2nd yield trial for superior corn hybrid selection.

        찰옥수수 연구 - VIII. 찰옥수수 대학찰 골드 1호에 대한 파종시기별 주요 작물학적 및 이삭 특성

        본 실험은 신품종 대학찰 골드 1호에 대한 파종 시기별 생육 및 이삭 특성에 대한 연구 결과 주요 특성은 다음과 같다. 1. 공시종에 대한 간장은 모든 파종 시기에서 대학찰 골드1호가 찰옥 1호보다 컷으나 찰옥 1호의 개체간에는 생육 차이가 큰 변이를 보였다. 2. 공시종의 평균 개화기는 대조구인 찰옥 1호가 7일 정도 빨랐으나 개체간 차이가 큰 반면에 대학찰 골드 1호의 개화기는 균일하였다. 두 품종 모두 파종시기가 늦어질수록 개화 소요일수가 빨라지는 경향이었다. 3. 공시종에 대한 간장과 착수고의 비율은 파종시기가 빠를수록 두 품종 모두 낮게 나타나 도복 경감 효과가 클 것으로 나타났다. 4. 공시종에 대한 이삭길이 및 착립 상태를 비교한 결과 대학찰 골드 1호를 4월 말에서 5월 초에 파종한 것이 다른 시기에 파종한 것보다 생육 및 이삭 특성이 우수하였다. This study was carried out to gain the informations about seedling transplanting cultivation of Daehakchal Gold 1 which was developed at the Corn Breed. and Genetics Lab., Coll. of Life and Sci., Chungnam Nat'l Univ. in 2009. This hybrid and Check were sowed over four times at intervals of 10 days from 15th April(1st) to 30th May(last) and transplanted at CNU Corn Breed. Farm the 20th seedling cultivated after sowing, respectively. Results obtained from this experiment were as follows; stem height of this hybrid were variable regardless of sowing and transplanting times, while ear height was gradually increased according to delay of sowing times. Ear size and sharp of fresh corn as one of important traits was good at 2nd harvest times, while tip filling of ear harvested at 1st time was not good and also it's size decreased according to delay of transplanting stage. Stability of this hybrid expressed as ratio of stem height to ear height was very good as 50% below. Accordingly, the proper sowing and transplanting times of Daehackchal Gold 1 considered the late in April to early in May as harvesting proper period.
