        한국산 둑중개의 번식행동

        Fluvial sculpin, Cottus poecilopus Heckel, was examined on the ecological aspects, such as territory defending behavior, reproductive behavior, and parental care. The extent of territory was about lm in a radius and territory defending behavior was mouth opening, chasing and biting. The mature male leads a gravid female into the spawning cavity. After several courtships are encountered each other, the male turns upside down first and then the female do. In this position, the male and female lie side by side and spawning occurs onto the ceiling of the cavity. After spawning, the male chases the spent female from his cavity, and generally repeats mating with other females; that is, this species is Polygyny. The male usually lies underneath the egg cluster, and guards the developing embryos until hatching. Additionally, the male often fanned the eggs with his pectoral fins and in upside-down position undulated the body laterally, apparently cleaning the surface of the eggs with the anal fin. Examination analysis of stomach contents of guarding males that the parental males eat their own during egg guarding(filial cannibalism).

        치악산 (雉岳山) ( 부곡 ) 계류 어류의 월별 군집구조와 서식밀도

        We investigated monthly variation of the fish community and abundance at stream of Mt. Chi-ak from May to November 1993. Total number of species of collected fishes were twenty-six species belonging to eight families. Twelve species of them were found te be endemic species of Korea. In this study, Cottus poecilopus and Moroco kumgangensis are confirmed abundantly inhabitant at the stream of Mt. Chi-ak. Dominant species were Cottus poecilopus, Moroco oxcephalus at the station 1, Zacco temmincki, Coreleuciscus splendidus at the station 2,3,4, and Zacco platprus, Zacco temmincki at the station 5. Rare species were Lampetra reissneri, Opsariichthys bidens, Squalidus gracilis, Silurua microdorsalis, Hemibarbus mylodon, Leiocassis ussuriensis, Acheilognathus signifer. When the water level rises, Moroco kumgangensis and Cottus poecilopus migrate from station 1 to station 2. On the other hand when the water temperature increase, Liobagrus andersoni, Cobitis rotundicaudata, Coreoperca herzi and coreleuciscus splendidus are migrate from station 2 to station 1. Estimated abundance and biomass of fish were 716ind./100m^2 and 55.4g/m^2 at St. 1,986 ind./100m^2 and 68.92g/m^2 at St.2, 1,485 ind./100m^2 and 98.15g/m^2 at St.3 and 1,304 ind./100m^2 and 61.63g/m^2 at St.4, 1,406 ind./100m^2 and 74.61g/m^2 at St. 5.

        봉화군의 어류상과 열목어(Brachimystax Lenok tsinlingensis) 개체군의 특성

        2010년 6월부터 2011년 5월까지 봉화군 7개 지점에서 어류상과 열목어 개체군 특징을 조사하였다. 조사 기간 동안 출현한 어종은 총 7과 15종 957개체 이었다. 출현한 어종 중 법적보호종에 속하는 종은 Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis, Koreocobitis naktongensis, Cottus koreanus 등 3종 이었다. 고유종에 속하는 종은 Microphysogobio yaluensis, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Zacco koreanus, Cobitis hankugensis, K. naktongensis, Iksookimia longicorpus, Niwaella multifasciata, Liobagrus mediadiposalis, C. koreanus, Coreoperca herzi 등 10종으로 고유화빈도가 66.7% 이었다. 우점종은 Z. koreanus(St. 1), B. lenok tsinlingensis(St. 3, 4, 5), Rhynchocypris oxycephalus(St. 2, 6, 7) 등 이었다. 열목어 전장과 체중의 관계식은 BW = 0.000008TL3.02 이었고 비만도는 평균 0.84 이었다. 전장이 80~180㎜에 해당하는 개체는 만 1년생, 200~300㎜는 만 2년생, 300㎜이상은 만 3년생 이상으로 추정되었 다. 보호수역 내에서 열목어는 밀도는 100㎡당 평균 17 개체가 서식하는 것으로 조사되었고 보호수역 내에는 총4,760개체가 서식하는 것으로 추정되었다. The fish fauna and characteristic of population of Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis at the 7 stations in the Bonghwa-gun were investigated from June 2010 to May 2011. The collected species during the survey period were 15 species belong to 7 families. Protected species by the legal were B. lenok tsinlingensis, Koreocobitis naktongensis, and Cottus koreanus. Korean endemic species were Microphy sogobio yaluensis, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Zacco koreanus, Cobitis hankugensis, K. naktongensis, Iksookimia longicorpa, Niwaella multifasciata, Liobagrus mediadiposalis, C. koreanus, and Coreoperca herzi, which showed a ration of 66.7% in collected species. Dominant species were Z. koreanus(St. 1), B. lenok tsinlingensis(St. 3, 4, 5), and Rhynchocypris oxycephalus(St. 2, 6, 7). Length-weight relation in the population of B. lenok tsinlingensis was BW = 0.000008TL3.02, and condition factor in the population was average 0.84. Frequency analysis of total length indicated that the group 80~180 ㎜ in total length is represented by one-year-old individuals, the group 200~300 ㎜ by two-year-old individuals, and the group over 300 mm by three-year-old individuals. The density of population was presumed average 17 individuals per 100㎡ and total 4,760 individuals in the reservation for B. lenok tsinlingensis.

        열목어 ( Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis ) 의 먹이선택 습성

        We investigated diet of Manchurian trout(Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis) at Jindong stream from October 1993 to August 1994. The stomach was U shaped with 57-69 Pyloric caeca. Gill rackers number externally on first gill arch was from 12 to 20, and premaxillary teeth with pointed was 24. The diet of B. lenok tsinlingensis was mainly acquatic insects, such as ephemeroptera, trichoptera, plecoptera, diptera, and nematoda, teleost fishes, land insects, amphibian and decapoda. Larger fish tended to ingest a higher proportion of the larger prey types, such as amphibian(frog), teleost fishes(Moroco kumgangensis, Ladislavia taczanowskii), nematoda(nematomorpha) and decapoda(crayfish), but younger year-classes to eat more Chironomidae. Land insects of the stomach contents was found mainly autumn. Aquatic insects(ephemeroptera, trichoptera and diptera) constituted the bulk of food items ingested during each season. The prey selection indices for ephemeroptera were positively selected in summer, and negatively selected in spring and autumn, plecoptera and trichoptera were positively selected in spring and negatively selected in summer and autumn. In contrast, diptera was always positively selected. B. lenoktsinlingensis classification of trophic categories is chaser.

        치악산 계류의 어류상

        To establish the methods of conservations of fish fauna of Mt. Chiak area, the author surveyed the aquatic environments and fish fauna at 16 stations from April 5, 1994 to September 26, 1995. All of the investigated stations were mountainous valley of river types of Aa and showed considerably dear water quality. It was confirmed that 29 species of freshwater fishes from each surveyed stations and 25 species of primary freshwater fishes(86.2%) and four species of pheripheral freshwater fishes(13.8%) of the confirmed 29 species. Fourteen out of 29 species of fishes(48.3%) were known as Korean endemic species. Moroco kumgangensis inhabit in Chupo-river and Kangrim-river, but not in Hasunam-river and Pong-river. The four species of Moroco kumgangensis, Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus, Cottus poecilopus and Hemibarbus mylodon are needed particular conservation for their survivals. Dominant species are C. poecilopusis, M. kumgangensis and M. oxycephalus in the upper stations, and Zacco temmincki, Coreoleuciscus splendidus and Z. platypus in the lower stations of the streams of Mt. Chiak.

        남한강에 서식하는 몰개 Squalidus japonicus coreanus (Cyprinidae)의 개체군 생태

        몰개(Squalidus japonicus coreanus)의 개체군 생태의 특성을 연구하기 위해 2011년 1월부터 12월까지 남한강(양평군 양평읍 창대리)에서 조사하였다. 본 종은 하천 하류에 분포하며 하상구조는 주로 모래로 이루어져 있었다. 서식지 수심은 80∼120㎝이었고 유속은 0.14∼0.38m/sec 상태를 유지하고 있었다. 성비는 1: 0.82 이었고 산란기는 6∼7월이며 산란기 수온은 18.5∼24.3℃ 이었다. 만 2년생 이상부터 성적 성숙이 이루어지기 시작 하였다. 전장이 34∼50㎜의 집단은 만 1년생, 51∼74㎜의 집단은 만2년생, 75㎜이상은 만 3년생으로 추정된다. 포란수는 평균 1,871개 이었고 먹이생물은 남조류(Cyanophyta), 녹조류(Chlorophyta), 규조류(Bacillariophyta), 윤충류(Rotatoria), 갑각류(Crustaceae), 요각류(Copepoda), 수서곤충(Aquatic insect)에 속하는 하루살이목(Ephemeroptera), 파리목(Diptera), 선충류(Nematoda) 등 이었다. 잡식성이었으며 깔다구류(Chironomidae) 유충을 주로 섭식하였다. Population ecology (Ecological characteristics) of Squalidus japonicus coreanus from the Namhan River (Yangpyeong-gun Yangpyeong-eup Changde-ri), Gyeonggi-do, Korea were investigated from January to December 2011. Short barbel gudgeon inhabits habitats run of the lower river. The stream bed was mostly covered sand. Their current velocities were 0.14 ~ 1.38m/sec and depths were 80∼120㎝. The sex ratio of female to male was 1: 0.82. It is presumed that the spawning season is from June to July and water temperatures were 18.5∼24.3℃. Sexually matured individuals appeared over the two year of age. Frequency analysis of total length indicated that the group with 34∼50㎜in total length was one year old, the 51∼74㎜was two years old, and the group over 75㎜was three years old. The average number of eggs in the ovaries was estimated as 1,871 per matured female. Stomach content of S. japonicus coreanus were Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Bacillariophyta, Rotatoria, Crustaceae, Copepoda, Ephemeroptera, Diptera, and Nematoda, omnivorous, mainly feeds on benthic invertebrates such as chironomidae larvae.
