        SHS 공정으로 합성된 TiC 계 cermet 미세구조에 미치는 바인더 금속의 영향

        Microstructural evolution of Ti-C-metal binder powder mixtures during SHS process was investigated by combustion-wave arresting technique. Al, Fe, Co, Ni and Cu were selected as binder metals of TiC-based cermet. The characteristics of SHS reaction occurred in different mode, depending on the binder metals. SHS reaction resulted in the three distinct regions; such as unreacted, partially reacted, and fully reacted parts. The intermediate phases of Ti and the metal binder were formed in the partially reacted region. The resulting cermet in the fully reacted region consisted of round shaped carbide particles and metal binder phase.

        검사직무대리제도의 현황과 문제점에 대한 검토

        The Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office introduced probational prosecutor system at 2001, Sep. 1, and expanded this system all over the country at 2005, Feb. Probational prosecutor’s main duty is prosecution about minor criminal case. In spite of it's importance in the criminal justice system, there are very few studies about probational prosecutor system up the present. So, this study would focus on the whys of it’s introduction, legal basis, present state and problems. A law about probational prosecutor system has existed since the liberation of Korea, but had been a law that had become a dead letter until a recent date. However it was recently raised as a solution to the problem that the lack of prosecutors caused, namely excessive work. In the end it began at 2001, Sep. 1. Probational prosecutors has their own office room and they are aided by assigned detectives as prosecutors, but they can’t command a judicial police officer to investigate a criminal case, also they can’t request warrant. Prosecution is essentially authority of prosecutor. Term 3, Clause 12 of the constitution regulate ‘only prosecutor can request warrant to the court’. If so, it correspond to the spirit of the constitution for only prosecutor, not probational prosecutor, having authority of prosecution, because authority of prosecution is more intrinsic prosecutor’s duty and authority than requesting warrant. Probational prosecutor system exists on the unreasonable premise that prosecutors have to conduct only major criminal case. Eventually, prosecutors in Korea have excessive influence beyond the law and system. Abolition of Probational prosecutor system is one method for reformation of the prosecution, because it would correct prosecutor’s excessive power and status.

        최근 10년간 잠행백선에 대한 임상 및 원인균주 분석: 단일기관 경험

        Background: Tinea incognito is the dermatophytoses of atypical clinical appearance that is induced by topical and systemic steroid treatment or topical calcineurin inhibitor. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical and etiological aspects of tinea incognito. Methods: In the 10-year-period 2007-2017, we reviewed fifty-one patients with tinea incognito with regards to the age, gender, duration, and associated diseases. The patients with tinea incognito were further evaluated concerning the clinical manifestations and culture of organisms. Results: Age of the tinea incognito was most prevalent in the fifties (23.5%). The male-to-female ratio was 1:1.3. The most common type of infection was tinea corporis (52.9%), followed by tinea faciei (35.3%), tinea manus (5.9%), tinea barbae (3.5%), and tinea cruris (2.0%). The clinical features were to some extent diverse, ranging from eczema-like, seborrheic dermatitis-like, psoriasiform, folliculitis-like, rosacea-like, pyoderma-like, and purpura-like, and discoid lupus erythematosus-like. Trichophyton(T.) rubrum was the most common etiological agent (35.3%), followed by T. mentagrophytes (11.8%), Microsporum(M.) canis (7.8%), T. verrucosum (5.9%), T. erinacei, and M. gypseum (2.0%), respectively. Conclusion: Because of the increase in tinea incognito, there is a need for careful mycological examination in patients with tinea incognito.

        79세 여자에서 발생한 지루피부염으로 오인한 Microsporum canis에 의한 머리백선

        Microspoum canis is a zoophilic dermatophyte that is often transmitted to humans from cats and dogs. It has become one of the most important causative agents in tinea capitis ane kerion celsi. Tinea capitis is uncommon in an adult. Moreover, tinea capitis caused by Microspoum canis is rare in an elderly. The location of the lesion and the clinical course of tinea capitis might have led physicians into misdiagnosis as the seborrheic dermatitis. Therefore, we report this case to emphasize the importance of KOH mount and fungal culture of the skin lesions mimicking seborrheic dermatitis. We report a case of tinea capitis caused by Microspoum canis in a 79-year-old woman. The lesions were manifested by fine scaly erythematous patches on the fronto-vertex scalp for 2 weeks. She was diagnosed as seborrheic dermatitis in local clinic and was treated with topical steroid. However, the lesion was not improved. She kept a cat as a pet. Culture from biopsy specimen on Sabouraud's dextrose agar showed typical cottony colonies of Microspoum canis. The nucleotide sequence of internal transcribed spacer for clinical isolate was identical to that of Arthroderma otae strain ATCC 23828 (GenBank accession number AY213657). She was treated with 200 mg of oral itraconazole daily for 12 weeks. The skin lesions improved after treatment, and recurrence has not been observed.

        Trichophtyon rubrum에 의해 잠행백선 형태로 나타난 무릎에 발생한 Majocchi 육아종

        Majocchi's granuloma is a well recognized but uncommon infection of dermal and subcutaneous layers that is caused by fungal organism. It often presents as plaques and papules on areas where trauma is common. Majocchi's granuloma appears usually in immunocompromised patient but can also appear in immunocompetent patient. Tinea incognito appears in various forms of skin diseases, but it is rarely presented as Majocchi's granuloma. We report a case of trichophytic granuloma of the knee caused by Trichophyton(T.) rubrum in a 70-year-old male, who showed a pruritic, 7.0 × 2.0 cm sized, erythematous scaly patches with multiple papules on the right knee for 2 months. Fungal culture of the biopsy specimen grew out typical white cottony colonies of T. rubrum. The nucleotide sequence of internal transcribed spacer for clinical isolate was identical to that of T. rubrum strain ATCC 52013 (GenBank accession number KX092384.1). Histiologic examination showed chronic granulomatous inflammation and fungal elements in the dermis. After one month of itraconazole 200 mg/day and sertaconzole cream treatment, the lesion was completely cleared.

        A Simplified First-order Shear Deformation Theory for Bending, Buckling and Free Vibration Analyses of Isotropic Plates on Elastic Foundations

        This paper presents analytical solutions for bending, buckling and free vibration analyses of isotropic plates on elastic foundationsusing a simplified first-order shear deformation theory. Unlike the conventional first-order shear deformation theory, the presenttheory contains only two variables and has many similarities to the classical plate theory. For the elastic foundations, the Pasternakmodel which has two parameters is used. Equations of motion are derived from Hamilton’s principle. Analytical solutions ofdeflections, moments, shear forces, buckling loads and natural frequencies are obtained for rectangular plates with various boundaryconditions. Numerical examples for various aspect ratios, side-to-thickness ratios and foundation parameters are presented to verifythe validity of the present theory. Comparative study shows that the present theory is accurate and efficient in predicting bending,buckling and free vibration responses of isotropic plates on elastic foundations. Parametric study shows the effect of the elasticfoundations on the behavior of the plates.

      • 화학기상증착 방법에 의한 WSi_(x) 박막의 제조 및 전기적 특성

        WSi_(x) Films were deposited on polysilicon film by chemical vapor deposition process. Effects of processing conditions on the electrical properties of the WSi_(x) were studied. As the flow rate of SiH₄ and deposition temperature increases, the resistivity decreases, however, it decreases as the WF_(6) flow rate increases. The WSi_(x) deposited at the temperature below 480℃ was oxidized at 900℃ for maximum 90 min, which results in decrease of electrical resistivity by depleting Si from WSi_(x) film of low Si content. The WSi_(x), deposited at the temperature over 480℃ was rich in Si content, and it showed increase of electrical resistivity by depleting Si from WSi_(x) film.

        RNA Polymerase II Inhibitor, α-Amanitin, Affects Gene Expression for Gap Junctions and Metabolic Capabilities of Cumulus Cells, but Not Oocyte, during In Vitro Mouse Oocyte Maturation

        A specific inhibitor of RNA polymerase II, α-amanitin is broadly used to block transcriptional activities in cells. Previous studies showed that α-amanitin affects in vitro maturation of cumulus-oocyte-complex (COC). In this study, we evaluated the target of α-amanitin, and whether it affects oocytes or cumulus cells (CCs), or both. We treated α-amanitin with different time period during in vitro culture of denuded oocytes (DOs) or COCs in comparison, and observed the changes in morphology and maturation status. Although DOs did not show any change in morphology and maturation rates with α-amanitin treatment, oocytes from COCs were arrested at metaphase I (MI) stage and CCs were more scattered than control groups. To discover causes of meiotic arrest and scattering of CCs, we focused on changes of cumulus expansion, gap junctions, and cellular metabolism which to be the important factors for the successful in vitro maturation of COCs. Expression of genes for cumulus expansion markers (Ptx3, Has2, and Tnfaip6) and gap junctional proteins (Gja1, Gja4, and Gjc1) decreased in α-amanitin-treated CCs. However, these changes were not observed in oocytes. In addition, expression of genes related to metabolism (Prps1, Rpe, Rpia, Taldo1, and Tkt) decreased in α-amanitin-treated CCs but not in oocytes. Therefore, we concluded that the transcriptional activities of CCs for supporting suitable transcripts, especially for its metabolic activities and formation of gap junctions among CCs as well as with oocytes,are important for oocytes maturation in COCs

      • Ti-silicide접합의 열 안정성에 미치는 Salicide 공정조건의 영향

        Effects of thermal processing conditions on the Ti-silicide formation via Salicide (Self-Aligned-Silicide) process were investigated for contact metallization in integrated circuit. Low temperature deposition (100℃) of Ti film on n'-Si substrate significantly increases the thickness of the reaction formed Ti-silicide by 20-50%, compared to the high temperature deposition at 450℃. Increasing thickness of the Ti-silicide film also improves resistances of the film after annealing at 900℃ for 30 min. The Ti-silicide films were processed by rapid thermal annealing of the as-deposited Ti film on Si substrate. As the heating rate increases, the thermal stability of Ti-silicide film increases significantly. The correlations between Ti deposition temperature, film microstructure, and thermal stability of the Ti-silicide are discussed.
