Vol.10 No.-
The study was designed to implement the portfolios assessment of child social life and to suggest means for implementing it in classroom. The results were as follows: First, the current assessment was that teacher's concern transmitted affective domain to cognitive domain. Second, a total of 132 kindergarten and child care center teachers -36 public schoolteachers and 61 private school teachers and 35 child care center teachers-participated in this study. A questionnaire was used to survey the situation and opinions regarding assessment of child social development. Even though most teachers spend a lot of time executing the assessment, they neglect recording it and applying the results. Studies of portfolios assessment should be made continuously. The portfolios assessment is a tool teachers have available to them to directly and actively involve children in their own learning. The value of portfolios as assessment instruments is demonstrated as children reflect upon and analyze personal progress and development over time. Teachers who are concerned with child assessment must utilize this assessment model in a long-term, systematic manner and integrated education.

This study divided the contents of young children's science abilities into scientific concepts, abilities of scientific inquiry and scientific attitude. This study also investigated the each subordinate factors of assesment category, assesment criterion and assessment method through the researches and reviewed a fundamental basis for young children's science abilities assesment tools. Suggestions for an upcoming being developed science abilities assessment tools are as follows. First, tests should be constructed as a comprehensive form of test for young children's science abilities assesment tools. Second, young children developmental levels should be considered in future study. Third, tests should be verified with validity.

The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of naltrexone, an opioid antagonist, on secretion of catecholamines (CA) evoked by cholinergic nicotinic stimulation and membrane-depolarization from the isolated perfused rat adrenal gland and to establish the mechanism of its action. Naltrexone (3×10-6 M) perfused into an adrenal vein for 60 min produced time-dependent inhibition in CA secretory responses evoked by ACh (5.32×10-3 M), high K+ (5.6×10-2 M), DMPP (10-4 M) and McN-A-343 (10-4 M). Naltrexone itself did also fail to affect basal CA output. In adrenal glands loaded with naltrexone (3×10-6 M), the CA secretory responses evoked by Bay-K-8644, an activator of L-type Ca2+ channels and cyclopiazonic acid, an inhibitor of cytoplasmic Ca2+-ATPase, were also inhibited. However, in the presence of met-enkephalin (5×10-6 M), a well-known opioid agonist, the CA secretory responses evoked by ACh, high K+, DMPP, McN-A-343, Bay-K-8644 and cyclopiazonic acid were also significantly inhibited. Collectively, these experimental results demonstrate that naltrexone inhibits greatly CA secretion evoked by stimulation of cholinergic (both nicotinic and muscarinic) receptors as well as that by membrane depolarization. It seems that this inhibitory effect of naltrexone does not involve opioid receptors, but might be mediated by blocking both the calcium influx into the rat adrenal medullary chromaffin cells and the uptake of Ca2+ into the cytoplasmic calcium store, which are at least partly relevant to the direct interaction with the nicotinic receptor itself.
