LYNX ESM has not only ESM function but Datalink function. The LYNX boarded equipment Interface and Channel coding is needed for LYNX Datalink to support the mother ship with tactical data included threat radar analysis data of LYNX ESM, navigation data, Radar and Sonar of LYNX. The interface of loaded equipments are various protocol like as ARINC419/429, RS232, Synchro, Sync Serial. The Channel coding of Convolution-Scrambler-Interleaver-Bit Stuffing is applied for recovering the transmission data mixed with propagation errors in sea environment.

This paper on the Research of Naval Electronic Warfare System HILS(Hardware In the Loop System) describes the EW engagement HILS construction method for evaluation of the operational concept analysis on active RF Decoy in staying in the air and the deceit ability to anti-ship missile seeker. We obtain the EW M&S technology of EW engagement HILS and EW efficiency analysis from this project. This Naval Electronic Warfare System HILS technology will support Active Decoy Development Project and any other HILS of EW weapon in KOREA ARMY/NAVY/AIR FORCE.
Remote-PECVD SiN passivation을 이용한 metamorphic-HEMT의 성능향상

For optimized low noise and power application in millimeter wave range, InAlAs/InGaAs metamorphic HEMT on GaAs substrate is good alternative to GaAs pHEMT or InP HEMT. But high aluminium mole fraction in barrier layer bring instability of the surface due to surface trap in recess region. Remote-PECVD SiN passivation is good method to reduce surface trap. In this paper, we introduce to performance improvement of metamorphic-HEMT using Remote-PECVD SiN passivation. After passivation, DC/RF characteristic results were improved then before passivation.

In This paper describes the development testing results of high density high Voltage Power Supply(HVPS) that employ microwave TWTs<br/> The HVPS consist of number of modules connected in series A new design that adapt resonant circuit and high density pulse transformer to the high voltage modules makes the HVPS much more reliable. Also high voltage Solid-State modulation using fast switching devices(FET's) and the test results of modulator modules development are represented.

The blanking interface between an ES system and a radar system on the same platform cause the unwanted radar signal separation in the process of the signal measurement of the ES system. In this paper, we propose the novel radar signal blanking method for ES. The proposed method extracts a standard of judgement which we can decide whether a radar signal is separated by the blanking interface and presents how to merge the separated signals. Test result is presented to show the performance of the proposed method.

This study was conducted to estimate how vertically high and horizontally long a sea breeze occurred around Gangneung of the Korean peninsula would be reached to an inland. Geographically, gangneung is located on the center of the east coast shaping an arc, and a coastal line around gangneung has a form extending northwestward and southeastward, respectively. Therefore, an inflow of the northerly has similar effects of the sea breeze since a deep valley of Daegwallyeong, which is one of main ridges of the Taebaek mountains, not only reaches northeastward up to this region but also plays the part of the steering gear changing a wind direction from northerly to easterly, this is, the wind from sea. First of all, the study had defined the sea breeze as a wind blown from NNE to ESE, clockwise. And then, we analyzed characteristics of the sea breeze occurred around gangneung in view of the maximum wind speed and the wind direction for October 1st, 2003 through September 30th, 2004, the upper air database for May through June of 2004, and the wind vector database of AWS (Automatic Weather System). All meteorological information is collected at the weather station of gangneung and by the AWS which is being scattered around this region. Finally, the study figures out that how horizontally long a sea breeze would be reached depends on a level of the easterly inflow. At the first step of the inflow of the sea breeze, the wind from NNW blows into this region by keeping up the speed 3 m·s-1, and effects of the northerly are dominated with time and the wind at the inland blows out southwestward cause of the surface friction at the next step. On the other hand, there is no change of wind direction in the inflow at Daegwallyeong because a surface friction of there is smaller than around gangneung, relatively. In other word, the easterly blows toward Daegwallyeong. However, the wind speed is not higher than that of the coast around gangneung.
