The effect of manufacturing parameters on friction characteristics of motorcycle break system was studied using a disk-on-pad type friction tester. Such parameters conditions have an effect on the frictional factor such as applied load, sliding speed, and number of ventilated disk hole. However, it is difficult to know the mutual relation of these factors. In this study, the friction characteristics using design of experiment containing 3 elements were investigated for an optimal condition for the best motorcycle break system employing Full factorial design. From this study, the result was shown that the applied load in frictional factors was the most important, next to sliding speed, number of ventilated disk hole.

Spinning has been used widely for the manufacture of hollow parts with rotational symmetry. With developing CNC machine, CNC machine center can be applied to the spinning processes. When deforming thin sheets of large dimensions, the tendency to from winkles is great. The deforming process of a spinning process was simulated by DEFORM 3D s/w. The effect of feed on deformed shape to avoid winkles was discussed.

Such parameters conditions have an effect on the frictional factor such as number of ventilated disk hole, applied load, sliding speed, and sliding distance. However, it is difficult to know the mutual relation of these factors. In this study, the friction characteristics using design of experiment containing 4 elements were investigated for an optimal condition for the best motorcycle break system employing regression analysis method. From this study, the result was shown that the applied load in frictional factors was the most important, next to sliding speed, number of ventilated disk hole.
다구찌 기법을 이용한 자동차 후면 열선의 열전달 해석에 관한 연구

A cold chamber experiment was made to continuously record defrosting process of the frosted window. To achieve this purpose, first a warm-chamber experiment(23℃) were performed to measure inner and outer surface temperature of the rear window as functions of both time and position. In this study, mutual relation of each experimental condition was derived through minimum number of experiment using Taguchi Design method and ANOVA recently used in the various fields. The optimal temperature distribution using Taguchi technique is 120 sec, heat wire size is 1.0mm, and heat wire spacing is 25mm.
