      • 명반처리(明礬處理)에 의한 견직물개선연구(絹織物改善硏究) -Sericin 정착(定着)을 중심(中心)으로 하여-

        본 연구는 백반이 sericin 정착하는 작용을 구명하기 위해서 시행된 것이며 이미 유혁기술에서 사용하여 오던 실례를 생사에 적용해보려는 것이었다. 타인의 보고는 Cr-명반이나 tannin, formalin 또는 vinyl acetate로 sericin 정착한 사실이 있기는 하나 이들은 섬유의 흡습성을 도외시한 것이어서 본보는 섬유의 흡습성을 보존하면서 sericin 정착을 하는 방식을 취하기로 했다. 한편 sericin 정착기구를 상세히 알기 위해 섬유의 침간 mechanism과 정착 mechanism도 고찰하여 보았다. 본 실험에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 백반을 sericin 정착에 이용할 때는 타인의 보고에서와 같이 고온처리는 금물이며 고온처리는 섬유를 경화시켰다. 2. 백반을 저온 처리하는 대신 3시간 이상 처리함이 바람직하였고 이때 백반만으로도 sericin 정착과 더불어 방수효과를 보였다. 3. 1% 백반농도이면 sericin 정착이 가능하였다. 4. sericin 정착만 고려할 때는 0.5% NaOH 10분간 처리 후 1% 백반용액 3시간처리방식이 가장 좋았다. 5. 그러나 sericin 정착과 흡습성을 고려할 때는 상기 방식의 역방법이 가장 좋았다. 6. sericin 정착검정은 습윤시료의 건조곡선도시로 더욱 선명하게 다루었다. 7. 연감률은 백반-NaOH 처리의 경우 4.3%였는데 이러한 정도이면 실용 선습에 능히 sericin 유실을 막을 것으로 본다. 8. 흡습성도 백반-NaOH 처리방식에서 미처리손과 동일한 흡습성을 유지했다. 9. 처리직후와 처리 3개월 후의 강력경도에 변화가 없었다. 10. 결론적으로 본 처리는 무연무색처리로서 유색처리(탄닌, Cr-명반)방법과 취기처리(formalin, vinyl acetate 처리)보다 개선된 방식이었다. This has been carried out how the sericin insoluble fixations of raw silk should be with potassium alum. This is learned from the leather tanning technique which the process works with collagen, a kind of proteins. Former reports had shown such works, however, they did not consider the moisture absorbability after their process reports by using chromium alum, formalin or vinyl acetate grafting. This report, however, paid attention to protect such absorbability as well as sericin fixation, so far it may be useful for plactical use of silk. In order to clear how the sericin is fixed with such chemicals, fundermental mechanism of weding process and chemical reaction against proteins were also discussed. The obtained results of the report are as followings. 1. Alum should not be treated for raw silk with high temperature bath like other reports because such treat induces raw silk to be stiffly after the treat. 2. It is recommended that raw silk should be treated with alum solution at room temperature for more than three hours. Even in this case, the use of only alum with raw silk could to fix sericin some how, but it increased the water proofness of the silk. 3. 1% of alum solution was found to be able to fix the sericin of raw silk. 4. In case we consider only sericin fixations, a combination treat of 1% alum for three hours and 0.5% NaOH for ten minutes method showed the best result. 5. In case we consider sericin insoluble fixation and moisture absorbility, the reversive combination of the above process was found to be the best results. 6. Sericin fixing evidence was shown with drying feature curves of wed each treated silk where we could to analyze how the chemical nature is changed after each treat. 7. Deguming ratio may be obtained up to 4.3% after the alum combination treat with regular raw silk. Such ratio was considered to be good enough for the purpose when the textile is washed with warm soap water. 8. Moisture absorbability of the combination treat of alum and NaOH was found to be good enough as well as non treated silk. 9. The tenacity and elongation of the treated silk did not change even after three month. 10. Above all, this method is considered to be better process than other coloured fixing (tannin method, Cr-alum method) or smell fixing (formalin method, vinyl acetate method).

        We fabricated piezoelectric unimorph cantilever generators (UCG) using $Pb(Zr_{0.54}Ti_{0.46})O_3$ + 0.2 wt% $Cr_2O_3$ + 1.0 wt% $Nb_2O_5$ (PZCN) piezoelectric thick films, which were produced by a tape casting method. The PZCN thick films were tailored with same width and thickness but different lengths from 7.7 to 57.7 mm in order to evaluate optimized UCG for energy harvesting device applications. When the length of PZCN film was increased, the resonance frequency of UCG was slightly increased from 7 Hz to 8 Hz, which could be due to enlarged area of the highly stiff piezo-ceramic film. However, the output power was proportionally increased with the length of PZCT film and it reached 4.68 mW (1.221 $mW/cm^3$) when the film's length was 57.7 mm under 25 g of tip mass at 8 Hz, which is sufficient for micro-scale device applications.

        바이몰프형 압전세라믹 캔틸레버를 이용한 수력에너지 하베스터 모듈 제작 및 발전 특성

        A new water energy harvester module, which is composed of piezoelectric bimorph cantilevers, harvesting circuit and a shaft with 16 impellers at a center axis, was fabricated for energy harvesting application. High energy density $Pb(Zr_{0.54}Ti_{0.46})O_3$ + 0.2 wt% $Cr_2O_3$ + 1.0 wt% $Nb_2O_5$ (PZT-CN) thick film obtained by tape casting method was used for the bimorph cantilever. The PZT-CN bimorph cantilever with a proof mass of 49 g exhibited extremely high output power of 22.5 mW (24 $mW//cm^3$) at resonance frequency of 11 Hz. In addition, the fabricated water energy harvester has a cylindrical structure with 48 bimorph cantilevers clamped at inner surface. A significantly high output power of 433 mW was obtained at a rotation speed of 120 rpm with a resistive load of $500{\Omega}$ for the water energy harvester.

        세라믹(BNT)-폴리머(LCP) 복합체 제조 및 유전특성

        In this research, the composites (100-x)LCP-xBNT (x = 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 vol.%) were fabricated with thermoplastic LCP(Liquid Crystal Polymer) and BNT($BaNd_2Ti_4O_{12}$) which is a high frequency dielectric material. Their dielectric properties, mechanical strength and microstructure were investigated by Impedance analyser, Instron and SEM. In order to fabricate LCP-BNT composites, LCP resin was put into the twin screw type mixer($310^{\circ}C$), melted by keeping for 10 min. After that, BNT filler was dispersed with melted LCP resin for 15 min. in the mixer. For measuring the dielectric properties and mechanical strength, Composite specimens were made by pressing composite granule (LCP-BNT) with 7 ton in the mold at $310^{\circ}C$. With increasing the BNT content (0~40 vol.%) of the composite, Its dielectric constant increased, dielectric loss and flexural strength decreased. The dielectric constant and flexural strength of composites with 20~30 vol.% of BNT filler are 4.1~6.0 and 35~55 MPa respectively. BNT/LCP composite is the potential substrate material for the high frequency application.

        The flat-ways spinned cocoon was prepared from the silkworm using flat and circular type cocooning frame. The spinning rate of the silkworm was 76.9% compared to the normal mounted silkworm. The arrangement of cocoon haves of the flat-ways spinned cocoon was more linear than the normal cocoon which is curved. To maintain the size-stability of the flat-ways spinned cocoon, degumming process was treated with enzymes. These flat-ways spinned cocoons could be used as padding materials for the thermal insulations and decoration uses for the traditional fan which the silkworms are mounted directly on the fan frame.

      • 니들펀칭법, 열융착법에 의한 실크 부직포의 제조 및 특성

        Silk nonwoven fabrics are prepared by needle punching and thermal bonding with silk waste. To enhance the carding efficiency, the degumming rate was controlled with sodium hydrogen sulfite solution. The amount of the remained sericin was 3%(S-3), and 6%(S-6). Mixing wool and LMP(Low melting polyester) with the silk, improve carding efficiency, was also effective. Following items were tested with prepared silk nonwoven fabrics : weight, thickness, compression, tensile strength, heat insulation, water absorption, and deodorization. The results show that the silk nonwoven fabrics could be used for apparels and new biomaterials.

      • 고치와 폴리에스텔 複合絲 織物의 試織

        This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of Habutae and Chiffon woven with silk and polyester (S/P) compound yarn. The S/P compound yarn could be produced by the automatic reeling machine with attachment of air jetting device, polyester yarn guider and tension control apparatus. The surface structure, tensile Property and dyeing fastness of S/P compound fabric were examined for the fabric properties. Electron microscopy revealed that most part of S/P compound yarn was well interlaced and some silk part of compound yarn were hidden by polyester on an examination of surface of chiffon fabric. By the one bath and two step dyeing of disperse and acidic dyes, the colour fastness of S/P compound fabrics were 4 grade above. The tenacity and initial modulus of the finished S/P compound fabric were lower than those of grey and degummed fabrics, but reversed in elongation.
