일회용 기저귀의 Formaldehyde 함량과 認知度 및 소비실태에 관한 연구

This study was designed to measure the amount of formaldehyde in the disposable diapers of seven different products. It was aimed to investigate the actual situation of the diaper consumption and to relate it to the amount of formaldehyde measured. The degree of recognizability on the harmfulness of formaldehyde was also studied. The amount of formaldehyde was measured by means of the Acetyl Acetone method. The actual situation of consumption and the recognizability of the formaldehyde were investigated by questionnaire. In the survey, the subjects had their babies aged from 0∼3 years and lived in Seoul. The statistical methods used were simple frequency and chi-square. The results obtained from this study were as follows; 1) Among seven (7) different disposable diapers, two were found to have less amount of formaldehyde than the Japanese regulation. 2) From the survey on the actual situation of consumption most respondents (53.7%) experienced the dermatological problem after using the disposable diapers. Actually for the diapers which had a lot of formaldehyde, the respondents experienced the problems more severely. 3) The recognizability of formaldehyde was very low. The recognizability on the harnfulness of formaldehyde was lower, which represented the consumers had least or no knowledge about the formaldehyde release problem.
Development of Artificial Intelligence to Support Needle Electromyography Diagnostic Analysis

Objectives: This study proposes a method for classifying three types of resting membrane potential signals obtained as images through diagnostic needle electromyography (EMG) using TensorFlow-Slim and Python to implement an artificial-intelligence- based image recognition scheme. Methods: Waveform images of an abnormal resting membrane potential generated by diagnostic needle EMG were classified into three types—positive sharp waves (PSW), fibrillations (Fibs), and Others— using the TensorFlow-Slim image classification model library. A total of 4,015 raw waveform data instances were reviewed, with 8,576 waveform images subsequently collected for training. Images were learned repeatedly through a convolutional neural network. Each selected waveform image was classified into one of the aforementioned categories according to the learned results. Results: The classification model, Inception v4, was used to divide waveform images into three categories (accuracy = 93.8%, precision = 99.5%, recall = 90.8%). This was done by applying the pretrained Inception v4 model to a fine-tuning method. The image recognition model was created for training using various types of image-based medical data. Conclusions: The TensorFlow-Slim library can be used to train and recognize image data, such as EMG waveforms, through simple coding rather than by applying TensorFlow. It is expected that a convolutional neural network can be applied to image data such as the waveforms of electrophysiological signals in a body based on this study.
‘위성미’와 ‘미셸 위’의 민족정체성: 스포츠 명사의 흥망과 미디어 담론

This article analyzed the process in which Michelle Wie, a LPGA professional golfer, wasidentified as national icon and being other from nationality in the Korean media discourse. Byanalyzing articles published in newspapers from 2002 to 2012, I explored social and cultural factorsby which Michelle Wie became ‘proud Korean’ and turned into ‘ugly duckling’ as a process ofidentity transformation by media. In identifying her as national sports hero, most media discourseshowed that Michelle Wie expressed her potential in golf, which overwhelms even Tiger Woods,cultural capital which the mass really want to have, and her Korea-born fact. In contrast thisprocess, when she was recognized as ‘other’, totally different factors were involved, such as failureof proving her potential capability for golf, a lack of commitment, a quality sports celebrity shouldembody, and lastly, a mismatch of outside enemy which enables the celebrity to be national icon. 이 연구는 프로골퍼 미셸 위를 대상으로, 그녀의 ‘다른’ 국적에도 불구하고 미디어로 하여금 ‘같은’ 민족으로 동일시하고 이후에는 타자화하도록 만든 사회문화적 요인을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 2001년부터2012년까지 국내 주요 일간지의 기사를 분석하며, 미셸 위가 어떠한 사회문화적 요소를 체화하고 상실했기에 ‘자랑스러운 한국인’에서 ‘미운 오리’로 그 정체성의 변화가 이루어졌는지를 살펴보았다. 동질화와 이질화/타자화라는 정체성 형성 과정을 중심으로, 이 연구는 미셸 위가 미국 국적임에도 적극적으로한민족으로 동질화 된 이유로 첫째, 그녀의 잠재적 골프실력과 둘째, 많은 대중이 적극적으로 갖길 원하는 문화자본, 마지막으로 태생적 혈연을 밝혀냈다. 반대로 그녀를 민족과 이질화시킨 요인으로는 증명되지 못한 잠재력과 운동선수로서 보여줘야 할 ‘한국적’ 문화코드의 부재, 마지막으로 민족적 동질화를 가능케 할 외부의 적, 즉 대립요소의 잘못된 설정이 도출되었다.
