Nostromo is more than just a historical and political novel, dealing with each individual's closely knitted fate with that of the social system and state, comprising the more philosophical dimension by its significant metaphysical investigation of the inevitable human condition, struggling between the conflicting forces of law and violence, order and anarchy, liberty and dictatorship, material interest and noble ideal. The federalist Ribiera government collapses by the Monteros' nationalist coup d'etat, and the province of Sulaco succeeds in seceding, proclaiming itself the $quot;Occidental Republic$quot; owing to the economic power of the silver mine. The materialistic richness represented by silver ironically gives rise to the revolution, the sterilization of the Goulds' marriage life, Nostromo's vanity of honor and Decoud's cynical nihilistic engagement and suicide. Conrad's self-projection into the figures of the novel is very distinct. His respect for the values of tradition, discipline, courage and personal honor is well represented by Nostromo, the Italian supervisor of the workers. Martin Decoud, a French intellectual dilettante, disillusioned and visionary, shows the author's stressful sentiment of scepticism and historical consciousness of the imperialist cruel tactics of betrayal and exploitation. While Charles Gould, the English entrepreneur, possessed by materialistic development, reminds us of Conrad himself at one time in his economic stalemate, Doctor Monigham, crippled bodily and mentally by the former dictator's atrocious persecution, is another portrait of the self-derisive, prophetic vision of the author himself. The dramatic development of the plot is focused on the final reconciliation of the two rivals, Nostromo and Monigham, as a sign of gratitude and love for Mrs. Gould. Conrad suggests the possibility of overcoming the catastrophe and cheating a new value through Mrs. Gould's recognition about the world's depending on the poor people and her perception of the inevitable interrelatedness of history. The strategy of this novel is in awakening the reader's imagination about human integrity and in achieving the various effects of echo by projecting the author's views of life and artistic values into the several international protagonists in the political, geographical, economical and cultural background of revolution and anti-revolution of the state of Costaguana.

예비유아교사의 놀이성에 기초한 놀이성 유형구분 및 영향요인 탐색

연구목적 본 연구는 놀이지원자로서 유아교사가 갖춰야 할 특성을 이해하기 위해 예비유아교사의 놀이성에따라 동질적인 특성을 갖는 잠재집단으로 유형화하여 집단별 특성을 확인하고, 잠재집단 구분에 영향을미친 변인을 탐색하였다. 연구방법 광주광역시 소재 S대학교 유아교육과의 1-4학년 학생 123명을 대상으로 놀이성, 유아놀이에대한 인식, 학습참여, 학업적 자기효능감과 학업동기를 측정하고, 잠재프로파일분석과 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 놀이성에 기초하여 ‘낮은 놀이성 집단’, ‘중간 놀이성 집단’, ‘높은 놀이성집단’의 3개의 잠재집단이 도출되었다. 둘째, 잠재집단 간 차이 분석 결과 ‘높은 놀이성 집단’이 ‘중간놀이성 집단’에 비해 유아놀이에 대한 인식과 학업적 자기효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로자기주도학습, 고효과 프로그램 참여, 학업동기와 학업적 자기효능감이 잠재집단 구분에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과에 근거하여 예비유아교사의 놀이성 신장을 위한 논의와 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.

PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to statistically analyze the meteorological factors that contribute to the formation of road surface icing based on actual cases of icing accidents and provide directions for improving icing evaluation criteria. METHODS : In this study, we collected cases of domestic road icing accidents by searching news articles with the keyword ‘icing collision accidents’. Subsequently, we determined the latitude, longitude, and altitude of accident locations using satellite map service. We applied the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method and temperature lapse rate to estimate meteorological data at each location. Finally, statistical analysis was conducted for temperature, humidity, and precipitation occurrence using probability density functions. RESULTS : As a result, road icing accident data points with identifiable location coordinates were collected. Among these, temperature, humidity, and precipitation occurrence from Automated Weather Stations (AWS) data were selected for analysis. During the process of correcting meteorological factors using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method, the optimal Weighting Exponent (p) that minimizes the error was determined and applied. The results showed that accidents occurring in the morning indicated the highest accident occurrence rate. The average temperature at the time of the accidents was -1.4°C, with a humidity level of 85.1%. Precipitation was observed at the time of the accident in 19 cases. CONCLUSIONS : Icing on pavement can occur not only under extreme weather conditions but also under typical meteorological conditions. Typically, icing can occur when the relative humidity is above 70%. Accordingly, for future improvements in the evaluation criteria for icing-prone areas by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, it is possible to incorporate the temperature and humidity ranges that generally lead to icing, taking into account climate characteristics.

뇌성마비 아동의 대동작 수행평가(GMPM)와 아동용 균형척도(PBS) 사이의 상관성 연구

Background : This study verified a correlation between gross motor performance measure (GMPM) and pediatric balance scale (PBS) for children, which are most widely used for assessment of children with cerebral palsy. Methods : The study subjects are 20 children aged between five and 13 who were diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Their mean age was $8.15{\pm}2.96years$ and consists of 15 males and 5 females. The subjects were divided into three groups according to muscle tone and motility disorders and then GMPM and PBS were assessed. In the assessment items in the GMPM, alignment, coordination, dissociated movement, stability, and weight shift were measured. The PBS consists of sitting to standing, standing to sitting, moving between chairs, standing without using hands, standing with one foot, turning 360 degrees, turning to look behind, retrieving object from floor, and reaching forward with outstretched arm while standing. A correlation of the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 for windows. Results : From Significant correlations were shown between items of GMPM and PBS as well as total scores of GMPM and PBS. Among them, coordination and weight transfer in the GMPM items had a high correlation with the PBS. In addition, the higher the GMPM total score was, the higher the PBS score was. Conclusion : This study result showed a significant correlation between GMPM and PBS, and this relation can be used to pediatric physical examination.

최근 큰 각광을 받고 있는 표면개질소재 중 하나인 도파민은 알칼리 수용액상에서 자발적으로 반응이 진행되어 금속, 고분자 등 거의 모든 소재에 강하게 흡착되는 물질로 흡착 메커니즘 및 반응 후 최종구조에 관해 많은 논란이 있다. 기 존의 도파민의 최종구조는 aryl-aryl 결합에 의한 고분자 구조가 제안되었지만, 본 연구에서는 구조분석을 통해 기존에 제안된 aryl-aryl 결합이 형성되지 않는 결과와 열적거동을 통해 고분자의 특징이 나타나지 않는 것을 확인하였으며, 기체투과거동을 통해 고분자와 같이 비다공성 코팅층을 형성하지 못하는 결과를 토대로, 도파민의 최종구조는 2차 결합에 의한 초분자 구조 로 서로 응집되어 있는 것으로 판단된다. Recently, a novel coating method using an aqueous doapmine solution was proposed, the deposited coating was found to have extraordinarily strong-adhesion to numerous materials such as metal and polymers. However, it has suffered from many controversy in scientific fields due to its final structure and deposited mechanisms. Here, we have proposed a new structure for final dopamine product coupling with solid state spectroscopic, thermal behavior, and gas transport behaviors of dopamine coated microporous polyethersulfone membranes. In its final analysis, the results represented that it is a supramolecular aggregated of monomers consisting of 5,6-dihydroxyindoline and its derivative in contrast to previously proposed polymeric structure.
