Synesthesia is referred to the phenomenon of co-occurrence which takes place between the senses (such as seeing, hearing, tastes, smells, touching) perceived through the human sensory organs. In recent days, Synesthesia has broken away from the rhetorical argument under the perception that it is the special linguistic expression in literatures like poetry and fiction. Instead, emerging as a universal linguistic phenomenon witnessed in normal daily languages, active researches on Synesthesia are carried out in the linguistic aspect. During the researches it has come to the realization that Synesthesia is one of the importance mechanisms affecting the root of the language structure, and by identifying the process of meaning transfer Synesthesia may provide a clue to unveiling intellectual and psychological characteristics of men influencing the creation of new meanings. Based on the above theoretical premise, the text is written to examine and identify the patterns of co-occurrences between the Chinese sensorial adjectives in order to unveil characteristics of synesthetical meaning transfer between the Chinese sensorial adjectives. This research is expected to contribute to the examination of an aspect in characteristics of the Chinese language and at the same time, revealing of intellectual and cultural characteristics of the Chinese.
