      • DCT/LDA 기반 얼굴 인식에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 입력된 얼굴 영상으로부터 구한 DCT 계수에 대해 LDA를 적용하는 DCT/LDA를 이용한 얼굴 인식 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 적은 수의 DCT 계수를 이용하여 입력 영상을 저차원으로 표현함으로써 특징 공간의 차수보다 트레이닝 데이터의 수가 적은 경우 발생하는 LDA의 SSS 문제를 해결한다. DCT는 기저 벡터가 일정하며 PCA와 유사한 에너지 압축 효율을 가지기 때문에 제안된 방법은 기존의 PCA/LDA 방법보다 학습 속도는 빠르면서 실제 얼굴인식 시스템에 적용이 가능한 정도의 얼굴 인식율을 기대할 수 있다. 실험을 통해 제안된 방법이 PCA/LDA 방법과 유사한 얼굴 인식 성능을 보이면서 약 13,000배 빠르게 학습되는 것을 확인하였고, 기존의 Block-DCT/LDA 방법과 유사하거나 향상된 인식 결과를 확인하였다. This paper proposes a method to recognize a face using DCT/LDA where LDA is applied to DCT coefficients of an input face image. In the proposed method, SSS problem of LDA due to less number of training data than the size of feature space can be avoided by expressing an input image in low dimensional space using DCT coefficients. In terms of the recognition rate, both the proposed method and the PCA/LDA method have shown almost equal performance while the training time of the proposed method is much shorter than the other. This is because DCT has the fixed number of basis vectors while the property of energy compaction rate is similar to that of PCA. Although depending on the number of coefficients employed for the recognition, the experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method in terms of recognition rate is very comparable to PCA/LDA method and other DCT/LDA methods, and it can be trained 13,000 times faster than PCA/LDA method.

        외식산업의 이벤트 마케팅 전략에 관한 연구

        Holding the event in eating-out industry brings about an effect of corporate profit creation, image improvement and public relations. The present situation is that the event the eating-out industry holds triggers a rise in cost. Therefore, this study aimed th establish the marketing strategy to host the event in eating-out industry. For this purpose, it attempted to inquire into the effect of holding the event by eating-out firms as the theoretical background and investigate the marketing event strategy of eating-out firms. It is thought that further research will have to be made about consumers' response to the marketing strategy of eating-out firms and about the effect of the event on eating-out firms.

      • Zernike 모멘트와 SVM을 이용한 눈 검출

        This paper presents a method to detect eyes in the facial image using Zernike moments and SVM. After detecting eye candidate regions from the facial image, Zernike moments are computed on those regions with moving a 15x15 window. Then, SVM that uses Zernike moments as an input vector detects eyes. In the experimental results, the proposed method shows the eye detection rate of about 90%.

        The mechanical properties of bellows, such as the extensibility and the strength can be changed depending on the shape. For the shipbuilding material, it is desirable that the fatigue life is long due to the elastic property and the reduction of stress in piping system. Nowadays, the domestic production and design of bellows are based on the E.J.M.A. code. However, the design plan is in need because of much errors and lack of detailed analysis. In this study, it is attempted to find out life improvement of U-type bellows using the finite element analysis. Among the design factors, focus on height of convolutions because bellows failure happens first convolution. The results show that as height of first convolutions, the volume and the stress decreases.

        MPEG-7 표준에 따른 내용기반 비디오 검색 시스템

        In this paper, we propose a content-based video indexing and retrieval system using MPEG-7 standard to retrieve and manage videos efficiently. The proposed system consists of video indexing module for a video DB and video retrieval module to allow various query methods on a web environment. Video indexing module stores metadata such as manually typed in keywords, automatically recognized character names, and MPEG-7 visual descriptors extracted by indexing module into a DB in a sever side. A user can access to retrieval module by a web and retrieve desired videos through various query methods like keywords, faces, example and sketch. For this retrieval system, we propose ATC(Adaptive Twin Comparison) as a cut detection method for efficient video indexing and QBME(Query By Modified Example) as an improved content-based query method for the convenience of users. Experimental results show that the proposed ATC method detects cuts well and the proposed QBME method provides the conveniences better than existing query methods such as QBE(Query By Example) and QBS(Query By Sketch).

        외식업의 인적자원관리에 관한 연구

        It is desirable that the management of human resources, as a strategy for enhancing competitiveness, should be the necessity for the foodservice industries to survive in the course of rapid change and continuous development. In other words, management provides the foundation to form human relations, just as the foodservice industry operates with human relations. Therefore, to resolve all the problems that foodservice have face our foodservice should find out new human resource. The control of human resources in foodservice means that it does not only satisfy Foodservice, employees, and guests but improves the personal ability. also it is important for the method of foodservice operation as management. Therefor, foodservice managers have to get good human resources and at the same time, improve the potential ability from them in order to get development for industries and a person. The monitor of human resources in foodservice was focused on production, but recently it has been likely to get closer to human relation. We can achieve the purpose of the industry by satisfying hotel employees and guests and providing a full service for them. foodservice industry must know the fact that the quality of service in human resources should be provided as a critical strategy of management.

        6 · 2 지방선거 분석: 집합자료 결과와 유권자 투표 행태를 중심으로

        This study provides an in-depth analysis on the aggregate data results and voters" voting behavior of the 6?2 local election. The basic considered research question is that which factor among the complex set of factors that affect the election is most important in voters" voting decision? In the stable situation where President Lee Myung-bak"s approval rating is nearly 50%, if the retrospective punishment voting was the general trend towards the Lee Myung-bak government in its second year in office during this election, who was the main target of the judgment? Analysis based on the various public opinion polls carried out before and after the elections produced the following results. First, different from the prospective voting behavior shown in Presidential elections, general elections and local elections which have mid-term evaluation features, proved the tendency for retrospective voting. Above all, at the basis of retrospective voting, the factor that the people"s economy worsened worked. Second, the principle of acquiring the moderate in advance which claims that one can win when securing the non-partisans(political moderation) in Korean elections was confirmed through this local election. Third, the principle of disliking particular party, meaning that hatred for a certain political party is a more important decision factor in voting than simply supporting a political party, also had an effect. Fourth, issue voting existed according to each generation. Fifth, unifying the opposition candidate was the driving force for victory by creating a two-party structure of the ruling party vs. opposition party, progressive party vs. conservative party. Solidarity also had its effect in this election- that those who succeed in securing solidarity win, and those who divide fail. Sixth, those in their forties, white-collars, those from the capital area and Chungcheong-Do who had supported the Grand National Party during the last Presidential election left the party and this was followed by the Democratic Party"s victory. Apart from this, the young generation in their twenties and thirties who had strongly supported Lee Myung-bak during the Presidential election shifted to anti-Grand National Party sentiment. Thus, the voting rate increased about 10% points and this was the decisive factor of the Democratic Party"s victory.
