Least Median of Squares(LMS) 방법을 응용하여 초기 기본집합을 설정하는 김종우(1996)의 ELMS는 기본집합에 이상치들을 잘 배제시킨다. 이 방법의 사용에서 반복되는 기본집합의 추출에 따른 문제점은 처리 속도를 LMS에 비해서 크게 줄이지 못하고 있다. 따라서 김종우(1996)에서 제시한 2단계 방법중에 1단계에서 사용한 ELMS의 적절한 크기를 결정하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Rousseeuw(1984)가 제시한 Least Median of Squares(LMS) 방법을 개선한 염준근, 박종구, 김종우(1995)의 ELMS는 효율적으로 이상치들을 인식한다. 그러나 이 방법에서 최적의 subset을 결정하기 위하여 사용하는 종유석 그림은 정확한 기준 점을 선정하는데 어려움을 나타내고 있다. 따라서 ELMS를 사용한 이상치 판별을 위한 적절한 크기의 subset 결정 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

The aim of this paper is to understand the blade number effect on vortex turbine performance in the cylindrical vortex chamber below the free water surface. Using the same blade profile, the performance of gravitational vortex turbine is tested each with 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 blades installed at the relative vortex height (y/hv) ranging from 0.065 to 0.417. The obtained results indicate that the rotation, voltage, current and power increase in the relative vortex height of 0.065 and 0.111 when increasing the number of blades at flow velocity of less than 0.7 m/s. The average power of the 5-blade turbine is more than others. The performance of the 4-blade turbine with a 130 mm diameter installed near the orifice is higher than that of the same number of blades with a 220 mm diameter in the vortex chamber.

The purpose of this study was to develop the performance assessment model of practical arts education. The study was carried out through review of literature on evaluation theory, performance assessment theory, and practical arts education. The performance assessment model for Practical Arts were established three demensions; assesment procedure, assesment level, and assesment method. The assessment procedure include planning, instrument development, enforcement, and reflection. The levels of performance assessment include three layers of curriculum in Korea--national, regional and school. The third dimension represents performance assessment methods by which the values of the curriculum. The three methods include language-based, process-based, and product-based approach. Based on this conclusions, the further researches for applying of performance assessment model in practical arts education should be continually.

Based on effects proposed by Mason and Gunst(1985) for the detection of outlier-induced collinearity, detailed examination of these effects shows that the relation of influential observations and collinearities are being measured and this is illustrated with examples derived from a set of data.
