본 연구는 마이크로파를 이용한 VOCs물질의 분해에 관련된 기초적인 연구로서 반응화학적인 측면보다는 마이크로파에 의한 분해가능성의 관점에서 수행하였다. 실험에 사용한 반응가스로는 VOCs물질 중에 CFC-113(1,1,2-trichloro-2,2,1-trifluoroethane)을 사용하였고 마이크로파촉매는 활성탄계(AC)와 Fe_(2)O_(3)계를 사용하였다. 혼합형 촉매는 Fe_(2)O_(3)를 CaY형 제올라이트나 TiO_(2)를 혼합하여 사용하였다. 마이크로파를 쪼였을 때 촉매층의 온도변화를 보면 활성탄보다 Fe_(2)O_(3)계 촉매가 낮은 출력에서도 높은 온도상승을 나타내었다. Fe_(2)O_(3)는 0.lkW에서 450℃ 정도였으며 활성탄은 0.3kW에서 410℃ 정도의 온도상승이 일어났다. 분해반응에서 Cu/AC 경우에 거의 분해되었고, Fe_(2)O_(3)에서는 낮은 출력(0.lkW)에서도 40% 정도 분해되었다. 특히 Fe_(2)O_(3)와 TiO_(2)의 혼합촉매에서는 낮은 온도에서 50% 정도의 분해율을 나타내었다. 마이크로파를 활용한 VOCs의 분해방법에 의하면 기존의 반응장치보다 간단하고 조작도 쉽게 할 수 있을 것이다. Various kinds of VOCs have been used worldwide and their release into environment has caused serious problems. This study investigates the microwave induced reaction of CFC-113(1,1,2-trichloro,2,2,1-trifluoroethane) and water in a continuous flow system by using a activated carbon (AC) and Fe_(2)O_(3). A microwave system with a variable 1.2kW, 2.45 GHz magnetron, was used as the power source. At the result Cu/AC showed high activities for decomposition of CFC-113. Fe_(2)O_(3) the best activity among Fe_(2)O_(3) physical mixed with TiO_(2) and CaY-zeolite. However, Fe_(2)O_(3) - TiO_(2) catalyst was found that 50% conversion on low temperature by 0.7-1.0kW power. Cu/AC may be an appropriate catalyst for the decomposition of CFC-113 by microwave irradiation.

The effect of Mn on cavitation erosion resistance and the sliding wear resistance of Fe-base hardfacing NewAlloy was investigated. Mn is known to decrease stacking fault energy and enhance the formation of $\varepsilon$-martensite. Cavitation erosion resistance for 50 hours and sliding wear resistance for 100 cycles were evaluated by weight loss. Fe-base hardfacing NewAlloy showed more excellent cavitation erosion resistance than Mn-added NewAlloys. $\Upsilon-\alpha$' phase transformation that can enhance erosion resistance by matrix hardening occurred in every specimens. But, only in Mn free Fe-base hardfacing NewAlloy, the hardened matrix could repress the propagation of cracks that was initialed at the matrix-carbides interfaces more effectively than Mn-added NewAlloy The Mn free Fe-base hardfacing NewAlloy showed better sliding wear resistance than Mn-added alloys. Mn-addition up to 5wt.% couldn't increase the sliding wear and cavitation erosion resistance of Fe-base hardfacing alloy because it didn't make $\Upsilon\to\varepsilon$ martensite phase transformation. Therefore, it is considered that the cavitation erosion and the sliding wear resistance can be improved due to $\Upsilon\to\varepsilon$ martensite phase transformation when Mn is added more than 5wt.% in Fe-base hardfacing alloys.

현재 토양오염에 대한 관심이 점차 증가하고 있으며, 토양오염은 토양에 국한 된 오염이 아닌 대기 및 수질오염에 복합적으로 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 유류로 오염된 토양을 기존의 정화 방법에 비하여 시간적 경제적으로 많은 장점을 가지고 있는 마이크로파를 이용하여 정화 효율을 극대화시켰으며, 마이크로파를 토양에 적용하기 위하여 수분과 발열체 등을 이용하여 토양발열 효과를 증가시켜 빠른 토양정화 효율을 확인하였다. The interest of soil pollution is increasing, and soil pollution is not limited on the soil but connected to atmosphere and water system. Gas adsorption on adsorbents depends on temperatures and pressures. When these parameters are fixed, If the gas adsorption capability and selectivity can be changed. If the gas adsorption is controlled by another factor like electromagnetic field. The microwave has characteristics to excite particular components such as water without destroying it. This study maximanized the efficiency of purification using economic microwave, and improved purification of soil efficiency using water and a heating element was founded.

We studied the effects of the Yukmigihwang-tang(added) on the bone morphogenesis such as OTN and BMP2 which are engaged in bone formation.The results of RT-PCR data are as follows.1.BMP2 gene of HOS-TE85 cell lines were accelerated about 50% as cultivated in 0.5% solution.2.OTN gene of MG-63 cell lines were accelerated about 20% as cultivated in 0.01% solution.3.OTN gene and BMP2 gene of KG-1 cell are generally accelerated in various condition

The experimental rate equation and optinum operating of CO shift reaction over the industrial CuO/ZnO/Al₂O₃catalyst ICI 52-1 was investigated with process variables (temperature, space velocity, and H₂O/CO ratio). The activation energy of the reaction to 150℃~200℃ is 14˚Kcal/mole. Reaction rate model expressions are derived, to allow optimization of reactor design. And this model is shown to fit the experimental results well.

Hydrogen adsorption and TPD of Pt/r-Al₂O₃and Pt/SiO₂catalysts have been determined as a function of pretreatment. To investigate the assumption described below, four different pretreatment procedures were selected. The increase in hydrogen uptakes and the sift and increase in high-temperature peak of TPD peaks were observed for samples, which were prepared by heat treatment at 700℃ followed by rapid cooling in liquid nitrogen, comparing to slow cooled catalysts. This finding was not resulted from splitting of catalyst particles due to rapid cooling in liquid nitrogen. The experimental results support that the heat treatment and rapid cooling can generate high population of more active site which is equivalent to corner atom with the lowest co-ordination number.
