We determined the yields of fission products in the photon-induced fission for 232Th and 238U with an end-point energy of 10 MeV at the electron linac of the Electron Beam Center in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, India, and those for natPb, 209Bi, and 232Th with 45-80 MeV and 2.5 GeV at the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory in Pohang, Korea. The peak-to-valley (P/V) ratio, average light mass (<AL >), and average heavy mass (<AH >) at different excitation energies were obtained from the mass yield data of this work and literature data. The values of P/V, <AL >, and <AH > for 232Th(γ, f) and 238U(γ, f) are compared with similar data for 232Th(n, f), and 238U(n, f) to examine the role of the excitation energy in nuclear structure effects. Similarly, the present data for natPb(n, f) and 209Bi(n, f) were compared with the literature data at other bremsstrahlung energies to examine the effect of the excitation energy on the average mass (<A>) and the P/V ratio.

The neutron capture cross-sections and capture-ray spectra of 161;162;163;164Dy were measuredat a neutron energy of 550 keV by using the 3-MV Pelletron accelerator of the Research Laboratoryfor Nuclear Reactors at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. A neutron time-of-ight method wasadopted with a 1.5-ns pulsed neutron source using the 7Li(p,n)7Be reaction, and a large anti-Compton NaI(Tl)-ray spectrometer was used. A pulse-height weighting technique was applied tothe observed capture-ray pulse-height spectra to derive the capture yields. The measured capturecross-sections were 0.221 0.016, 0.110 0.007, 0.119 0.008, and 0.037 0.005 (barn) for 161Dy,162Dy, 163Dy, and 164Dy, respectively. The present results were in good agreement with previousmeasurements. However, the evaluated values of ENDF/B-VI for 162;164Dy were more than threetimes higher than our measurements. The capture-ray spectra were obtained by unfolding theobserved capture-ray pulse-height spectra. We caclulated the production and decay rates for the intermediate vector bosons (W,Z) in Winberg-Salam model. And we presented the differential cross sections for the processes e^+e^-→W^+W^-, e^+e^-→ZZ and e^+e^-→γZ in e^+e^-CM frame. Using these expressions we discussed the possibility of the event rate for the reactions.

he neutron capture cross-section of tantalum (Ta) has been measured by using the neutron time-of-flight (TOF) method with the 46-MeV electron linear accelerator (linac) of the Research Reactor Institute, Kyoto University (KURRI). An assembly of Bi$_4$Ge$_3$O$_{12}$ (BGO) scintillators, which was composed of 12 pieces of BGO, placed at a distance of 12.7 $\pm$ 0.02 m from the neutron source was employed as a total energy absorption detector to measure the prompt-capture $\gamma$-rays from the samples. A metal plate of Sm and a plug of $^{10}$B powder were used in order to determine the absolute neutron flux impinging on the capture samples for the energy of a thermal neutron and for energies above that, respectively. The existing experimental data and evaluated capture cross-section in ENDF/B-VI, JENDL-3.2, and JEF-2.2 have been compared with the current result. 일본교토대학 원자로실험소의 46-MeV 전자선형가속기를 이용하여 중성자 비행 시간법(Time-of-Flight: TOF) 방법으로, 에너지 영역 0.003 $\sim$ 50 eV에 대하여 탄탈륨(Tantalum: Ta)의 중성자 포획단면적을 측정하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 Bi$_4$Ge$_3$O$_{12}$(BGO)섬광검출기는 Ta의 중성자포획반응으로부터 나오는 즉발포획 감마선 측정에 사용 하였다. 포획감마선측정을 위해서 만들어진 검출장치는 중성자원으로부터 거리 12.7 $\pm$ 0.02 m 위치에 설치되어 있으며, 12개의 BGO 섬광체로 구성되어 있다. 시료에 입사되는 중성자 속의 절대치를 구하기 위해 Sm과 $^{10}$B시료의 Sm(n, $\gamma$) 및 $^{10}$B(n, $\alpha\gamma$) 반응을 각각 이용하였고, 중성자 속의 변화를 감시하기 위해서 중성자 속 속에 BF$_3$ 검출기를 설치했다. 얻어진 Ta에 대한 중성자 포획 단면적 측정결과는 이전의 실험에 의한 측정 결과들 및 ENDF/B-VI, JENDL-3.2 및 JEF-2.2의 평가된 값들과 비교 및 검토를 하였다.
