      • 소나무좀 防除에 관한 硏究(第 III 報) : 誘引燈에 의한 防除 Controling measure of Pine Bark Beetle with Light Trap

        One way of gathering pine bark beetles is to use light. Light traps have been found the most effective to control them at serious infected areas in Jeonbuk In this study, the colors of light traps available for enticing adult pine bark beetles were various light, yellow, red. blue. cream, glow and mercury etc. and in the light intensities, 100w, 200w, 300w and 400w etc. Resuit as controlling measure of pine bark beetles by light traps was as following. 1. Adult pine bark beetles have shown a strong phototaxis towards the light traps. Mereury lamp among various colors of light was the most enticing and in turn, glow, cream, blue, yellow and red lamps. 2. The higher the light intensity was, the more effective to lure the adult pine bark beetles. However 100 Watt mercury lamp is recommended to use for the light trap from the economical view point.

      • 干拓地의 農業開發을 위한 綜合硏究 : III.界火干拓地에 있어서 鹽耐性 適樹의 選拔에 關하여 Selection of Some Nonhalophyte Species fit for Saline area at Gehwa Reclaimed land

        Twelve tree species growing near the reclaimed land of Kaehwa, Buan-Kun, Jeonlabug-Do province that were believed to be suitable for the windbreak and timber production, were selected and studied for their withering ratio and the contents of moisture, Na+, Cl-· and K+ in the roots of these trees. Results obtained are as follows: 1. The most suitable were found out to be Pinus Thunbergil, Robinia pseudo-acacia and Populus albaglandulosa, and the suitable were Populus euro-americanα. Koelreuteria pamculate acd Thuja ortentalis for planting in the Kaehwa reclaimed land. 2. The moisture content in the roots of Pinus Thunbergii, Robinia pseudo-acacia and Populus albaglandulosa, planted in the Kaehaw reclaimed land was remarkably low when compared to those planted in the none saline land. It was especially low during June through JuIy when relative humidity and the temperature were high. 3. In the roots of trees planted in the reclaimed land, Na+, and Cl-, content were relatively high in general. Na+ content was lowest during June through July but Cl- content was gradually increased from the beginning of the tree growth in May to the resting period of those tree growth. K+ content was remarkably decreased planted in saline area and gradually decreased in contents with times.

      • 음향 현미경을 위한 음향렌즈의 설계에 관한 연구

        In this paper, the design method of acoustic lens and its performance for the acoustic microscope have been studied and analyzed. It has been found that the focused transducer with acoustic lens attacted provide the acoustic beam intensity increased by π^2 compared with the plane piston transducer without acoustic lens. For the purpose of investigating the resolution of acoustic lenses and the contrast of acoustic images at frequencies of operation of 3 MHz and 10 MHz the focused spherical transducers of F/1.0 and F/0.7 have been employed and the Kevlar-epoxy composite and 10-won coin samples have been used in this experiment. It has been shown that the experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical simulation.

      • 지식관리시스템(KMS)에서의 실시간 멀티미디어 메신저의 역할

        KMS에서 지식전달 및 지식공유를 위한 커뮤니케이션 도구는 필수적인 요소지만 현재 국내 KMS에서 채택하고 있는 비실시간, 혹은 문자 중심의 커뮤니케이션 도구로는 지식전달 및 공유를 위한 조직원간의 커뮤니케이션 활성화가 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 KMS의 커뮤니케이션 활성화를 위한 실시간 멀티미디어 인스턴트 메신저의 역할을 제시하였다. 제시된 KMS용 실시간 멀티미디어 시스템은 화상/음성통신, 문자/그래픽통신, 화이트보드통신, 화면공유, 그리고 에스코티드 브라우징과 같은 다양한 커뮤니케이션 방법을 제공하기 때문에 조직원간의 지식공유/전달, 공동작업, 그리고 사용자 편리성 및 접근성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.         The response of callus formation and the growth rates of sectioned Gingko hypocotyl to upper, middle and lower section cultured with several methods on white's basic medium are summarised as follow; 1. Organ culture sectioned hypocotyl to upper, middle and lower sections is most flourished at the lower section and followed middle and upper. 2. Sectioned hypocotyl which had attached same ranks of endosperm in embryo are better developed than isolated one. 3. When the upper section of sectioned hypocotyl transfer to lower endosperm and lower one to upper none accelerated effect are given on the endosperm. 4. Shoot without root have developed on lower hypocotyl section attached endosperm.

      • 굴참나무 天然林에서 密度에 따른 生長 및 物質生産의 比較

        To investigate the effects of two kinds of stands on Growth and Primary Production of Quercus variabilis, this study was carried out on a Quercus variabilis Natural Forest in the Experimental Forest of Jeon Buk National Univ. in Byonsan area. Two different stand density blocks were applied to the 12-year-old stand; block A-scattered and residential stocking level of 1850 trees/ha, block B-crowded and residental stocking level of 2550 trees/ha, 20×20m plot was settled, 5 sample trees were cut off and stem, branches, and leaves were weighed independently with the stratified clipping method, analyzed productive structure. The allometric relation between D2H and dry weight of stem (Ws), branches (Wb), and loaves (Wl) of block A were approximated by log Ws = 0.3126 log (D2H) + 0.0214, log Wb = 0.3107 log (D2H) - 0.2114, log Wl = 0.8971 log (D2H) -1.9327 and those of block B were approximated by log Ws = 0.2887 log (D2H) + 0.0296, log Wb = 0.2901 log (D2H) -0.3065, log Wl = 1.0211 log (D2H) - 2.1762. In photosynthetic layer of Quercus variabilits; i) the block A is 3m height above and maximum amount of photosynthesis of crown concentrates 4-5m height from base, ii) the block B is 4m height above and maximum 7-8m height from base. The total biomass of aboveground reached 44.58t/ha. For the block A and 45.63t/ha. for the block B. The annual net production was estimated 4.21t/ha. yr. for the block A and 4.76t/ha.yr. for the block B. From the above, the block A is better than the B in the height & DBH for tree and so we can find out that it needs same control of density in a natural forest stand.

        스플릿-스펙트럼 처리의 자동화를 위한 가용대역폭의 결정방법

        In this paper, the determination method of available bandwidth for automation of the split-spectrum processing(SSP) has been studied. The SSP is used for the visibility enhancement of the ultrasonic signal with grain noise. Even though the SSP has proved useful in signal-to-noise ratio enhancement, its application and automation have been limited due to ambiguity in the determination of available bandwidth. Until recently, it is the usual practice to optimize the available bandwidth by trial and error. The spectral histogram is the statistical distribution of the spectral windows that is selected by the minimization algorithm with the whole band of the spectrum of the received ultrasonic signal. Since the available bandwidth can be determined adaptively using spectral histogram, this method can be used for automation of the SSP. In order to evaluate the determination technique of the available bandwidth using spectral histogram, this method is applied to experimental ultrasonic data. The experimental results show that the spectral histogram is an efficient method for determination of the available bandwidth and automation of the SSP. 이 논문에서는, 스플릿-스펙트럼 처리(split-spectrum processing)의 자동화를 위한 가용대역폭의 결정방법을 연구하였다. SSP는 결정립(grain) 잡음을 갖는 초음파신호의 가시도를 개선하는데 이용된다. SSP가 S/N비를 개선하는 유용한 기술임에도 불구하고 가용대역폭 결정의 모호성 때문에 응용이나 자동화에는 제한이 있었다. 최근까지도 가용대역폭을 최적으로 하기 위해 시행착오 방법에 의존하고 있다. 스펙트럼 히스토그램은 수신된 초음파신호 스펙트럼의 전대역에 걸친 최소화 알고리즘에 의하여 얻어진 스펙트럼 윈도우의 통계적 분포도이다. 가용대역폭은 스펙트럼 히스토그램을 이용하여 적응적으로 결정되기 때문에 SSP의 자동화가 가능하다. 스펙트럼 히스토그램을 이용한 가용대역폭의 결정방법을 조사하기 위해 이 방법을 실험 데이타에 적용하였다. 실험결과, 스펙트럼 히스토그램은 SSP의 가용대역폭의 결정과 자동화를 위한 효율적인 방법임을 알 수 있었다.
