        전신진동을 결합한 스쿼트운동이 중증 만성폐쇄성폐질환 환자의 폐기능과 넙다리네갈래근 활성도에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE: This study aimed to propose an exercise technique that helps improve the skeletal muscle function while suppressing the symptoms of respiratory distress, by mediating squat exercises in whole-body vibration for patients with severe COPD, and comparing the post intervention pulmonary function and activity of quadriceps. METHODS: Totally, 21 patients with severe COPD were randomly assigned to two groups through clinical sampling: experimental group I included 11 patients (Squat exercise combined with whole-body vibration exercise), and experimental group II included 10 patients (Only squat exercise). Before intervention, we measured pulmonary function using a pulmonary function tester, muscle activity of quadriceps using surface EMG, and gait ability using the 6MWT. RESULTS: Comparison of intra-group changes in both experimental groups showed a significant increase in the activity of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, and vastus lateralis, and also in the 6MWT. Intra-group comparisons also revealed significant difference in the activity of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, and vastus lateralis (p < .05). CONCLUSION: Squat exercise combined with wholebody vibration significantly increased the activity of the quadriceps muscle, suggesting that this intervention helps maintain the function of skeletal muscles and prevent muscle atrophy. Therefore, studies to develop protocols using whole body vibration in clinical practice as an exercise method can safely be performed in severe COPD patients, as considered necessary.

        조각보를 활용한 헤어아트 작품 연구

        Jogakbo (Korean traditional patchwork) is an artwork in which a plane is created by connecting two different lines with a patch. It is an abstract world with beauty which wishes for good luck by completing the needlework stitch by stitch. In this study on hair art works designed using the formative features of jogakbo, the following results were obtained: First, depending on the shape of jogakbo, square, rectangle, free-style or yeouiju (dragon orb) pattern is taken as a motif. Then thehairs are chopped into small pieces and scattered on the plate. Or, each hair is straightened gradually and dried using wood glue to express the artistic design. Second, freedom expressed in obangsaek(five traditional colors of Korea) using lines and vertical lines which are the characteristics of Mondrian's works and abstract works were displayed. This study has attempted to recreate artworks by applying jogakbo to hair art and make a contribution to the development of hair art.

        An XML is an markup language which has been focused on the next generation Web programming language. It easily represents the complex structure of a document, and it is possible to provide the access control over each component of an XML document. An implicit authorization technique means that granting an authorization to a node has effect on granting the same implicit authorization to its all descendants. Therefore, it enhances the time for the authorization grant and reduces the memory required for the authorization information. An authorization technique using an intention type and a authorization replacement solves a redundancy problem and decides whether the access is possible or the authorization conflict occurs at the first attempt.

        자석놀이를 통한 유아의 과학적 탐구능력에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 자석놀이 활동을 통한 유아의 과학적 탐구능력에 관한 연구로서 자석놀이 활동이 유아의 과학과정기술에 어떤 변화를 주는지 질적 연구 방법을 통하여 알아보았다. 연구 대상은 경상남도 C군에 위치한 B초등학교 병설유치원의 만5세 유아 5명, 만4세 유아 1명으로 구성되었다. 연구 기간은 2006년 3월 3주부터 7월 3주까지 18주 동안 매주 2회 총 36회에 걸쳐 다양한 자석놀이 활동을 실시하였다. 자석놀이 활동을 통한 유아들의 과학과정기술의 변화를 살펴보기 위하여 지속적인 관찰과 함께 녹화자료의 전사물과 교사저널, 관찰, 기록지, 유아들의 관찰 기록물 등을 분석하였다. 자료 분석에 사용된 과학적 과학과정기술의 준거는 관찰하기, 예측하기, 의사소통하기, 실험하기, 추론하기, 창안하기 등이었다. 연구 결과는 자석놀이 활동이 유아의 과학과정기술 활용에 변화를 보임으로써 과학적 탐구능력에 변화를 주는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study, is to examine how magnet play activities change young children's utilization of science process skills and young children's utilization by the components of science process skills through the qualitative method. The research questions of this study are as follows. Do magnet play activities change young children's scientific inquiry abilities? The participants for this study were 5 young children of age 5 and 1 young child of age 4 in a public kindergarten, located at Cgun, Gyeongsangnam-do. This study designed magnet play activities on the basis of the textbook in the third grade of elementary school, and conducted magnet play activities at the total of 36 times twice a week during the total of 18 weeks from the third week of March to the third week of July, 2006. In order to identify the changes of young children's inquiry skills through magnet play activities, this study analyzed the transcripts of video tape recording materials, teacher journals, observation records, and the observation records of young children, along with the continuous observation. The references of scientific inquiry ability, which were used for data analysis, included observing, predicting, communicating, experimenting, inferring, and creating. The results of this study are as follows. The utilization by the components of science process skills has shown diverse changes, such as magnet play activities positively changed young children's scientific inquiry ability.

        전신진동자극이 중증의 만성폐쇄폐질환 환자의 폐기능과 보행능력 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE: This study aimed to provide supporting data for the clinical use of breathing exercise with a WBV stimulation as a sustained and safe intervention program, by examining the effect of breathing exercise with WBV stimulation on the pulmonary function, gait ability, and life quality in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), who have difficulty performing exercise. METHODS: For this study, after collecting the samples from 20 patients with severe COPD, they were placed randomly in an experimental group to perform breathing exercises with a WBV stimulation (n = 10) and a control group to perform breathing exercises only (n=10). Before the intervention, pulmonary function, six-minute gait distance, and health-related life quality were measured as pre-tests. After applying the intervention program to the patients for 30 minutes once a day, for four days a week, for six weeks, the post-test items were remeasured in the same way as the pre-tests, and the results were analyzed. RESULTS: In the within-group comparison, both the experimental and control groups showed significant differences in the forced expiratory volume in one second, six-minute gait distance, and health-related life quality (p < .01) (p < .05). In the intergroup comparison, there were significant differences in the forced expiratory volume in one second and the six-minute gait distance (p < .05). CONCLUSION: WBV stimulation was more effective for the patients by improving the muscular strength and muscular endurance through the reflexive contraction of muscles, and increasing the exercise tolerance. This result could serve as an alternative means to clinically improve the physical function of patients with severe COPD, who have difficulty performing breathing exercises in the future.

        맥켄지운동이 만성 목통증 환자의 목주위 근육 피로도와 목 장애지수에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE: This study tries attempted to provide basic clinical data to reduce pain and improve function by comparing the muscle fatigue of the superficial neck muscles and neck disability index (NDI) by performing McKenzie exercise or passive stretching exercise for chronic neck pain patients. METHODS: Sixteen chronic neck pain patients were selected and divided into the McKenzie group (n=8) and passive stretching group (n=8). The intervention program was performed three times a week for four weeks. The time for one exercise was 30 minutes. Before the intervention, the muscle fatigue the superficial neck muscles and NDI were measured. They were measured again after four weeks using the same method. RESULTS: The median frequency of the superficial neck muscles increased significantly in the McKenzie group and passive stretching group (p<.05). The NDI of both the McKenzie group and the passive stretching group decreased significantly. A comparison of the groups, revealed a significant difference in only the median frequency values of the upper trapezius muscle and splenius capitis muscle (p<.05). The NDI values of both groups were similar. CONCLUSION: Both McKenzie exercise and passive stretching exercises showed a significant difference in the degree of fatigue and NDI. McKenzie exercise delayed the replace of the fast twitch fibers which helped improve the muscle fatigue of the upper trapezius muscle and splenius capitis muscle. On the other hand, additional studies applying more variables for the muscle function to improve the symptom of chronic neck pain patients will be needed.

        과학창의인재 추수관리 실태조사와 교육적 시사

        본 연구는 국가수준 과학영재교육 기관들의 과학창의인재에 대한 추수관리 실태를 파악하기 위한 조사 연구이다. 연구의 목적은 영재교육 수혜자가 교육을 마친 후에도 경쟁력 있는 창의적 과학인재로 지속성장할 수 있도록 정부 및 유관 기관이 체계적으로 지원할 교육 정책적 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 구체적으로, 과학고 및 과학영재학교가 졸업생들이 지속성장할 수 있도록 어떤 지원, 관리를 하고 있는지에 대한 현황과 그에 대한 관계자의 인식을 조사하는데 목표를 두었다. 본 연구는 과학영재교육 현장의 우수 사례를 바탕으로 전 기관들의 실태를 분석함으로써 현장친화적인 실효성 있는 대안을 제시할 수 있다는 데 의의가 있다. 연구 참여 기관은 15개 과학고와 4개 과학영재학교이다. 자료 수집은 면담과 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌으며, 질문과 설문은 19개 학교의 추수관리 현황과 담당부서 관리자의 인식을 확인하는 내용이다. 자료 분석은 현황에 대해서는 ‘과학영재 추수관리체제 개념모델’(강정하 외, 2014)을 분석틀로 활용하여 빈도 분석을 실시하였고, 인식에 대해서는 항목별로 평균을 구하여 현황 분석 결과를 해석하는데 보조 자료로 활용하였다. 결과, 과학고·영재학교는 (1) 자원체제와 관련하여, 인적정보 수집은 졸업생을 대상으로 대부분 대입부터 석사 진학까지 또는 이후 시기까지 계속하며, 수집 정보 내용은 진로 및 취업, 전공, 성취도, 관심 및 학업활동, 업적, 학교생활과 삶의 만족도, 그리고 소속 대학의 기관정보 등이다. (2) 운용체제와 관련하여, 과학고·영재학교는 전화인터뷰, 졸업생 모교 초청 개별면담, 방문 인터뷰 등을 활용하여, 매년 1회 또는 수시로 자료를 수집한다. 추수관리의 주체는 대부분 당해 학교 당국이고, 다수학교가 동창회의 지원을 받고 있다. 전담부서는 진로상담부를 비롯한 다양한 부서들이 또는 담임이 맡아오고 있다. 특히, 추수관리를 위한 장기적 자료 수집을 위해서는 졸업생 초청, 동창회 지원, 개별 전화 등을 이용한 네트워크 관리가 매우 중요하다. (3) 활용체제와 관련하여, 진로 및 진학, 그리고 선발관련 자료로 활용하는데 그친다. 과학고·영재학교 졸업생이 글로벌 과학창의인재로 성장하기 위해서는 대학과 연계된 정부 주도적 체계적 추수관리가 필요함을 여실히 보여주고 있다. This study is a survey on the state of student follow-up management system in the national level institutes for gifted and talented education and the perception of the persons concerned on student follow-up management system in the institutes. The purpose of the study is to derive the policy implications for management of the institutes for gifted and talented education. 15 science high schools and 4 science academies were involved in this study. As a results, (1) On the resource system, the institutes have collected the information about career and jobs, major, achievement, interest, level of satisfaction on school and life, and etc.. (2) On operation system, the institutes have collected the information of the graduates through phone or face-to-face interview annually or frequently. (3) Lastly, on the regard of application system, the institutes utilized the information only for guidance on entering college or selection of new students. On the other hand, the perception of the persons concerned on the systems show they have had some difficulties operating student follow-up management system.
