In this paper, we introduce an electrocardiogram (ECG) system designed to solve problems caused by wetgels and motion artifacts in measuring active movement. The system is called a dry-contact ECG and was designed by considering impedance matching between skin and electrode as well as the frictional electricity between electrode and clothes. In order to create the system, we measured impedance on the skin-electrode interface, and the result was applied to the electronic circuit scheme. Moreover, we added an electrode on the back of the measurement electrode to make a flow path to ground the electrical noise. The final ECG circuit and novel electrode were used to detect real human cardiac signals from a subject who was tested while standing still and walking. The signals obtained from the two activities were nicely shaped, without any motion artifact noise. We took electrode size into account in this study because the impedance depended on the area of the electrode. An electrode of 50 mm diameter showed the best curve for the ECG signal without any electrical noise.

Gaeksa means one of most important institution in provincial government during la-sean dynasty It was also used as a kind of hotel for foreign envoys or official guests More Importantly Gaeksa was a symbol of royal palace In which have held ceremony there twice in a month to make an obedience to the royalty It was also one of major landmarks of old City Under the Japanese colonialism, however, most of Gaeksa have been destroyed Very few are preserved with the original forms except partly remained or reconstruction Fortunately Ulsan Gaeksa remains lots of photos with which can be presumed the original form As for searching the original forms of buildings, the photos were needed And 12 phothos are very useful for searching the architectural characteristics of Gaeksa building With these data, this study proposes the presumed drawings of original form of Ulsan Gaeksa

Although the great findings on the history and identity of korean architecture has been achieved for last 5 decades, korean architecture is rarely paid attention in the global education. One of main reason must be the limited information and knowledge which are provided by English textbooks. This paper reviews the textbooks which are used in architectural education of United States, examining how the textbooks describe and evaluate on korean architecture. The results show that the distinctive features of korean architecture among East-asian society have been rarely introduced in English textbooks, what is worse, some of them give wrong informations which might bring the negative image. The conclusion suggests some ideas which will afford the new knowledge system on the history and cultural identity of korean architecture to the global society.
