      • 4-Methoxyaniline으로 부터 7-Hydroxy-2-aminophenazine-5, 10-dioxide의 합성과 항균성

        7-Hydroxy-2-aminophenazine-5,10-dioxide was synthesized from 4-aminophenol and 6-hydroxiben-zofuroxan was previously obtained through various reaction steps starting from 4-methoxyaniline. All the intermediates and final product were purified by way of recrystallization, and extraction, and were identified by using IR and NMR spectrophotometer. Amtimicrobial activity of phenazine dioxide derivative was also determined for some Gram positive and negative bacteria. It was observed that 7-hydroxy-2-aminophenazine-5 10-dioxide was stronger antimicrobial activity against both Gram positive and negative microbes than phenazine dioxides bearing methoxy, methyl, hydrogen, acetyl and nitro groups. From the result of this study, it might be concluded that electron density of the oxygen on N→O bond.

        한국 재래 오골계의 생산기술과 현황

        The origin and present status of research and commercial production of Korean Ogol chicken are reviewed. The Yeonsan Ogol chicken was designated as a National Monument (No.265) at April 1, 1980. After that, researches have been done on the various aspects of Ogol chicken, i.e., external characteristics, growth and reproductive performance, chemical composition of egg and meat, and carcass characteristics. In addition, several genetic parameters of Ogol chicken have been estimated.

        Issues in The Maintenance of AMT(Advanced Manufacturing Technology)

        Maintenance planning is important in the implementation of new technologies that are justified by productivity improvement and cost savings. Planning maintenance for advanced manufacturing technologies requires a knowledge of the costs affected by maintenance policies and of the way in which these polices affect manufacturing downtime. This paper describes the issues which need to be resolved and suggests the development of a comprehensive cost model for their resolution. Issues discussed include the choice of self-diagnostic equipment, the amount of preventive maintenance, the method of calculating downtime cost, in-house vs. contract maintenance, and inventory stocking polices.

        삽관 육아종 1례

        Endotracheal intubation has been used widely for the maintenance of airway in the emergency patients and general anesthesia, However, several complications occur in about 4% after endotracheal intubation. The complications include laryngeal edema, laryngomalacia, laryngeal stenosis, laryngeal granuloma etc.. Among these complications, laryngeal granuloma is a relatively rare complication. Authors reported a case of laryngeal granuloma which developed after endotracheal intubation. A 33-year old female patient visited our hospital Emergency Room due to right humerus and left scapular fracture, liver laceration and pleural effusion. At 2 days after admission, sudden dyspnea developed and oxygen therapy was done. After oxygen therapy, PaO2 was not elevated above 70 mmHg. Then endotracheal intubation was performed, it was difficult to intubate endotracheally due to short neck and obesity. She was intubated for 5 days. The patient was discharged after 1 month of medical treatment. At 2 months after discharge, the patient felt a progressive hoarseness and foreign body sensation in larynx. She was diagnosed as laryngeal granuloma at ENT department. She was underwent the surgical operation.

        재래닭의 경영 및 판매 실태에 관한 조사 연구

        The purpose of this research was to get basic information for the development of Korean native chicken industry by reviewing the current native chicken farm management and marketing situation of native chicken products(meat and eggs). The research was carried on the basis of the farm field survey covering 210 native chicken feeders out of 9 different local areas, and the results were as follows ; 1. Average raising size of native chicken flocks of sample farms was 1,787 heads and about 50% of those farms raised less than 500 heads chickens for self-sufficiency or on the side. 2. Most farmers made the decision to start on feeding native chickens in small scale with small amount of capital without sound feeding program, and their decision was mainly influenced by recommendation of mass-media( 19.5%) and neighbors (17.2%). 3. The average income per farm earned by raising the native chickens was 13,719 Won, and income per head of chicken was 8,800 Won. 4. About 40% of feeders expressed that the poor marketing management and lack of capital were the bottleneck to native chicken farm management. 5. About 70% of feeders evaluated the prospect of native chicken industry positively and so, about 60% of feeders hoped to expand the raising size in the future. 6. Most farmers directry made a bargain with marketer including middleman and enduser in selling the chicken products because there was not established special marketing system for native chicken products. 7. The sales age of native broiler was about 16~20 weeks and average body weight of broiler was 1.5~2.0 kg. And farm recieved price was not decided on the basis of each body weight or meat quality but only number of heads. 8. The average first egg-laying age of chickens was about 165 days and average annual laying rate was only about 56%. 9. In order to develop the successful Korean native chicken industry, followings are recommended ; 1) Reducing the production costs and increasing the productivity of native chickens should be carried out through technological research and development for sound feeding program of native chickens and sufficient fund supply. 2) Orderly native chicken marketing and pricing system should be established to give good vision about native chickens to farmers and to delight the consumers. 3) The measures for product differentiation including meat quality and nutritional value of native chicken products against other improved chickens should be actively taken by feeders and government.

        한국재래계의 난형지수 및 난질에 대한 유전력 및 유전상관의 추정

        This study was carried out to estirnate the heritabilities and genetic correlations on egg shape index and internal egg qualities ; shell thickness, alburnin heights and Haugh units for breeding plan and selection in Korean native chicken. Data analyzed were the records of 46,908 eggs from 43() layers from April, 1994 to September, 1995. The egg shape index at the first egg, 300 days and 500 days of ages were 74.771, 74.468 and 73.702; the shell thickness were 0.345, 0.344 and 0. 334mm; the alburnen heights were 6.579, 6.130 and 5.318mm; the Haugh units were 86.859, 81.014 and 73.565 respectively. The heritability estimates of egg shape index and internal egg qualities based on the variance of sire, dam and combined components at 300 days of age were 0.136, 0.954 and 0.545 for egg shape index; 0.201, 0.622 and 0.421 for shell thickness; 0.410, 0.961 and 0.633 for albumen height ; 0.353, 0.962 and': 0.608 for Haugh units. The genetic correlation coefficient between shell thickness and albumen height was -0.044~0.824; 0.016~0.949 between Haugh units and shell thickness 0.313~0.941 between albumen height and Haugh units, respectively.

        한국재래계의 난구성분에 대한 유전력 및 유전상관의 추정

        This study was conducted to estimate the heritabilities and genetic correlations on egg weight and egg compositional traits for breeding plan and selection in Korean native chicken. Data analyzed were the records of 46,908 eggs from 430 layers produced from 180 dam and 26 sire families, from April, 1994 to September, 1995. On egg weight and egg compositional traits at 1st egg, 300 and 500 days of age, the egg weights were 41.489, 49.544 and 52.770g ; the albumin weights were 25.953, 29.979 and 31.288g; the yolk weights were 11.091, 14.541 and 16.368g; shell weights were 4.472, 5.037 and 5.099g, respectively. The estimates of heritability of egg weights and egg compositional traits based on the variance of sires, dams and combined components at 300 days of age were 0.214, 0.226 and 0.720 for egg weight ; 0.307, 0.152 and 0.730 for albumin weight ; 0.124, 0.953 and 0.699 for yolk weight ; 0.047, 0.026 and 0.536 for shell weight. The genetic correlation coefficient between egg weight and albumen weight was 0.083~0.951 ; 0.310~0.507 between egg weight and yolk weight ; 0.242~0.523 between egg weight and shell weight ; 0. 237~0. 413 between albumen weight and yolk weight ; 0.232~0.449 between albumen weight and shell weight ; -0.264~0.239 between yolk weight and shell weight, respectively.

        한국재래계의 체형에 대한 유전력 및 유전상관의 추정

        This study was carried out to get the basic and applicable data for breeding plan and selection in order to improve the body shape components in Korean native chicken. The hentabilities and genetic correlations on body shape components were estimated by sire, dam and combined components of variance. Data analyzed were records of 1,096 progenies produced from 180 dams and 26 sires from April, 1994 to September, 1995. On body shape components at 4, 8 and 16 weeks of age, the shank lengths were 55.63, 82.94 and 103.8Omm: breast girths were 15.087, 21.069, and 26.137mm: breast widths were 40.910, 54.575 and 73.088mm, respectively. The estimates of hentabilities of body shape components based on the variance of sires, dams, and combined components at 4, 8 and 16 weeks of age were O.O65~O.197, O.25O~O.794 and O.185~O.495 for shank length: O.123~O. 215, O.033~O.513 and 0.063~0.257 for breast girth; 0.024~0.158, 0.118~0.410 and 0.111~0.222 for breast width, respectively. The coefficients of genetic correlations among the body shape components at 4 weeks of age were 0.565, 0.725 and 0.678 for breast girth with breast width, shank length and tibia length : 0.690 and 0.804 for breast width with shank length and tibia length; 0.972 between shank length and tibia length.
