Granular cell tumor (GCT) of the breast is a rare clinical entity, and is believed to be of schwannian origin and to follow a benign clinical course. A 50-year-old woman presented with a slowly growing mass in the right breast. Fine needle aspiration cytology revealed a cellular smear containing isolated or clustered cells showing round to oval nuclei with abundant oncocytic granular cytoplasm. Nuclei showed a fine granular chromatin pattern and occasional small single nucleoli. Cell boundaries were poorly defined, and naked nuclei were frequently found, Histologically, the tumor showed features of typical GCT, and immunohistochemical staining findings strongly supported the diagnosis. The present study demonstrates that GCT of the breast can mimic malignant lesions of breast both clinically and radiologically. The recognition of its cytologic features and suspicion of this lesion would undoubtedly aid the correct diagnosis of mammary GCT.

The purpose of this study is to find out the optimal mixing ratios of amounts of Mal-Cha for preparation of Jeung-Pyun through Sensory, Mechanical characteristics test. In addition, Sensory, Mechanical property of Jeung-Pyun prepared with following various concentration of Mal-Cha ; not additives (0% Jeung-Pyun), 0.5% (0.5% Jeung-Pyun), 1.0% (1.0% Jeung-Pyun), 1.5%(1.5% Jeung-Pyun), and the changes of quality during storage are also investigated. The pH in Jeung-Pyun increasing amounts of Mal-Cha was decreased with during storage. The titratable acidity in Jeung-Pyun increasing amounts of Mal-Cha was increased with during storage. The bacteria counts in Jeung-Pyun were increased with during storage, but were decreased with increasing amounts of Mal-Cha. When stored in 30℃ the 0% Jeung-Pyun decayed in three days while the 1.0, 1.5% Jeung-Pyun decayed in 4 or 5 day, proving that Mal-Cha lengthens conservation one or two days longer. The above results indicated that Jeung-Pyun by 1.0% Mal-Cha added showed the best quality of Jeung-Pyun through sensory, mechanical property and self life test.

Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) is a non-operative therapeutic procedure to the dilaation of stenosis or to the recalization of occlusion in atherosclerotiv arteries using of dilatation catheters. PTA was performed 37 times in 34 patients with arteriosclerosis for 1 year and 4 months from March, 1982 to June, 1983 at department of radiology, Klinikum Barmen/west Germany. The results were as follows : 1. The male to female ratio was 2:1 and peak age range was from 61 to 70. 2. The most common indication was clinical stage 11 b with 19 cases (51.3%) 3. PTA was performed most commonly in superficial femoral artery in 25 cases (67.5%) 4. Acute major complication occurred in 2 cases (5.4%) PTA is a alternative or complementary therapeutic procedure to vascular surgery.
Sea Urchin Removal and Effectiveness Evaluation from the Long-Term Monitoring Data in Dokdo, Korea

Dokdo is located 215 km away from the Korean Peninsula and is not affected by anthropogenic impacts. In this area, barren grounds developed between the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Korean government has measured the average urchin density from 1 to 10 sampling stations around Dokdo during 2006–2020 and has been conducting urchin removal projects annually since 2015 all around the bottom of Dokdo within depths of 5–20 m. Here, we implemented an additive decomposition method for time series analysis of the collected data. The timeline was divided into two periods: sample data period for predicting the urchin density (2006–2016) and intervention period (2016–2020). A trend model was estimated from the de-seasonalized data of the prediction period. Subsequently, forecasts were compared with the corresponding observations of the intervention period. While the forecasts reflected the spread of barren grounds and sea urchins, the actual urchin density during the intervention period decreased. On comparing the macroalgal coverage between the springs of 2017 and 2020, the samples with coverage less than 20% decreased from 50% in 2017 to 0% in 2020, while those with 21–40% coverage increased from 30% in 2017 to 90% in 2020. These changes confirmed the effect of urchin removal, and, based on this and other studies, an effective threshold of urchin density/biomass of two individuals and 140–150 g/m2 was suggested as the target criterion. The study proved the urchin removal as an effective solution to recover macroalgal beds in Dokdo.

This study analyzed the effect of the Pilates training method applying cueing on the musculoskeletal and body composition changes and physical self-concept of adult women. Convenience sampling was conducted on adult women in their 20s to 60s who started Pilates, and a total of 49 subjects (N=49) were selected. For queuing Pilates training subjects (experimental group, n=24) and general Pilates training subjects (control group, n=25), 16 exercises were prescribed for each group, twice a week for 50 minutes each time for 8 weeks. In both groups, pre- and post-musculoskeletal examinations were measured as Exbody, and body composition was measured as Inbody. In the experimental group, pre- and post-physical self-concept were measured by questionnaires. For the homogeneity test between the two groups, an independent sample t-test (p<.05) was performed. There were significant differences in overall musculoskeletal (p<.05) and BMI (p<.015) between groups, but no significant differences were found in musculoskeletal malalignments. There was a significant difference (p<.001) in the physical self-concept measured before and after the experimental group. Pilates education has a significant effect on the musculoskeletal and body composition of adult women, and the Qing Pilates education method has resulted in significant differences in physical self-concept. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of Pilates instructors in order to apply the cueing Pilates training method that has a significant effect on physical self-concept. 본 연구는 큐잉(Cueing)을 적용한 필라테스 교육 방법이 성인 여성의 근골격과 체성분 변화 및 신체적자기개념에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 필라테스를 시작하는 20~60대 성인 여성 대상으로 편의 추출(Convenience sampling)하였으며, 총 49명(N=49)의 대상자가 선정되었다. 큐잉 필라테스 교육 대상자(실험군, n=24)와 일반 필라테스 교육 대상자(대조군, n=25)에 대하여 8주 동안 주 2회, 1회 50분씩 각 그룹에 대하여 16회 운동하였다. 두 그룹 모두 사전·사후 근골격 검사는 Exbody, 체성분은 Inbody로 측정하였다. 실험군은 사전·사후 신체적자기개념을 설문 측정하였다. 두 그룹 간의 동질성 검정을 위하여 독립표본 t-검정(p<.05)하였다. 그룹 간의 종합 근골격(p<.05)과 BMI(p<.015)에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났지만, 근골격 부정렬에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 실험군에서 사전·사후 측정하였던 신체적자기개념에서는 유의미한 차이(p<.001)가 나타났다. 필라테스 교육은 성인 여성의 근골격과 체성분에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 큐잉 필라테스 교육 방법은 신체적자기개념에서 유의한 차이를 가져왔다. 따라서 신체적자기개념에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 큐잉 필라테스 교육 방법의 적용을 위하여 필라테스 지도자의 질적 향상이 필요하다.
