Effect of Oxidizer on the Polishing in Cadmium Telluride CMP

Cadmium telluride (CdTe) is being developed for thin film of the X-Ray detector recently. But a rough surface of the CdTe should be improved for resolution and signal speed. This paper shows the study on the improvement of surface roughness and removal rate by applying Chemical Mechanical Polishing. The conventional potassium hydroxide (KOH) based colloidal silica slurry could not realize a mirror surface without physical defects, resulting in low material removal rate and many scratches on surface. In order to enhance chemical reaction such as form oxidized layer on the surface of cadmium telluride, we used hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) as an oxidizer. Consequently, in case of 3 wt% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, the highest MRR (938 nm/min) and the lowest surface roughness (R<SUB>p-v</SUB> = 10.69 nm, Ra<SUB></SUB> = 0.8 nm) could be obtained. EDS was also used to confirm the generated oxide of cadmium telluride surface.

최근 시공간 데이터에 대한 관심이 늘어나면서 시간에 따라 이동하는 객체에 대한 처리와 이력 공간 정보를 처리하는 영역에 대한 연구가 활발하게 일어나고 있다. 이러한 시공간 데이터베이스에서의 효과적인 질의 처리를 위해 선택도 추정 기술의 요구가 생겨났다. 본 논문에서는 이력 공간 정보에 대한 선택도 추정을 위하여 T-Minskew 히스토그램을 구축하고 이를 이용하여 선택도 추정 방법을 제시한다. 또한 임계치 기법을 이용한 효과적인 히스토그램 유지 기법을 제시한다.

This paper deals with the design of controller which is used to rectifier for communication. Mathematical small-signal modeling and characteristic analysis are performed about DC/DC converter and three-phase AC/DC converter. Bode plots are obtained by the mathematical small-signal modeling. By the PSpice simulation, performance of the controller is proved respectively in line regulation and load.
유지 투석중인 만성 신부전환자에서 허혈성 심질환의진단 지표로서의 심장트로닌-I의 유용성

Background : Coronary disease is highly prevalent in patient with end stage renal disease (ESRD) and account for much of their observed morbidity and mortality. Troponin-I consistently maintains a high sensitivity and specificity and is most sensitive marker for ischemic heart disease (IHD). Method : We examed 49 hernodialyzed patients (22 male, 27 female) without evidence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) for 6 months. Biochemical markers were measured in serial predialysis blood samples. For analysis, we used two cardio-specific assays for troponin-T (cTnT) as well as for troponin-I (cTnI) and compared the results with CK-MB (reference value ≤ 4.0 ng/mL) concentration. Results : Myocardial ischemia was observed in 47% (23/49) of patients. cTnT level above 0.1 ng/mL. and cTnI level above 0.5 ng/mL, were observed in 22% (11/49) and 20% (10/49) of patients respectively. cTnI revealed significantly higher positive rate in patients with myocardial ischemia than the patients without myocardial ischemia (43 % vs 30%) (p<0.05). cTnT and CK-MB revealed no difference in positive rate between the patients with and without myocardial ischemia (cTnT : 30% vs 15% and CK-MB : 30% vs 19%). The sensitivity and specificity of cTnI to myocardial ischemia were higher than those of cTnT and CK-MB (sensitivity 43% vs 30% and 30%. specificity 100% vs 85% and 81%). Conclusion: Both cTnT and cTnI are useful in ruling out myocardial injury in chronic renal failure patients. But. cTnI is a more sensitivity and excellent specificity of ischemic heart disease than cTnT and CK-MB in hemodialyzed patients. In patients with ischemic heart disease, the presences of DM and advanced age were higher than those in patients without ischemic heart disease (p<0.05). Among the baseline characteristics old age, elevated LDH and diabeties were significant more frequent in the patients with elevation of cardiac troponin-I (p>0.5 ng/mL) than those with cardiac troponin-I (p<0.5 ng/mL), p=0.038, p=0.049, and p=0.045, respectively. Our results suggest that these cTnI is the potential diagnostic marker for the prediction of IHD in ESRD patients.

The team mixed PbO, ZrO<sub>2</sub>, TiO<sub>2</sub>, Nb<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> and MnCO<sub>3</sub> to make Pb[(Zr<sub>0.54</sub> Ti<sub>0.46</sub>) Nb<sub>0.005</sub>]O<sub>3</sub> + 4%MnCO<sub>3</sub>. The electroded PZT ceramics were poled by 3 kV/㎜ at 110℃ for 600 s. We assembled the 0.4mm thick PZT slices into ultrasonic transducers. Central frequency of the probe is 5 MHz, which is proper to the thickness gauge for steel pipes and for flaw detector. The probe can detect a disk shape defect of 1㎜ diameter at 15cm deep in steel block. The new probe’s Fresnel zone that the ultrasonic beam do not broaden is 13㎜. Over the Fresnel zone, the ultrasonic beam spreads. Half of the beam spread angle of the probe is 4.3°-4.6°. This probe can be used for the ultrasonic transducers for non-destructive testing of steel bridges.
CuO띠가 입혀진 ZnO 소결체의 일산화탄소에 대한 선택적 감지 특성

The purpose of this paper is a investigation of sensing mechanism for the carbon monoxide gas in CuO infiltrated ZnO ceramics. Potential barriers between CuO and ZnO can explain the selective sensing of carbon monoxide gas in the physically contacted CuO/ZnO ceramics. A specimen having no potential barrier between CuO and ZnO was prepared to see whether the gas sensing mechanism is related to the potential barrier. CuO and ZnO was prepared to see whether the gas sensing mechanism is related to the potential barrier. CuO was painted on the non electrode sides of ZnO ceramics. The CuO painted ZnO ceramics showed that the sensitivityfor the carbon moxnoxide gas was 1.3 times as high as that for the hydrogen gas. It is almost same gas sensitivity as that of the CuO infiltrated ZnO ceramics.
